Very nice hotel and staff but out the way if you want down town cartegena but we like it

Great location, near a supermarket, walking distance to all ancient sites and plazas. The hotel has a great gym new and very clean.

Hotel on the outskirts of Cartegena, decent room with comfy bed and bathroom. Room could with a touch up as the furniture and door frames are a bit worn. But for the price a decent option! On street parking available down the road and a decent supermarket next door. Is in a bit of a downtrodden area but felt safe enough.

Quite disappointed about my stay. The room is aged and some parts of the wood on the floor and bedroom door is popping out. Unclean bathtub with previous guess hair. For the price I will definitely look for alternative. It also affected the reputation of nh group.

Good hotel, clean, staff are as helpfull as can be even with the slight language barrier we have.Nice bar area, good beer. The only thing I would say is theres no seating outside anywhere at all, but the area the hotel is in maybe doesnt look the best so might not be a bad thing.There is a supermarket next door, and a 10 minute walk into the town centre.Stayed here on 2 occasions now and will do again Im sure.

The rooms are spacious. Breakfast was good. Location is not ideal. Front office Christina x 2 were very helpful.

Clean, tasty, very friendly cleaning service, I recommend it.

Lovely hotel and staff. Would stay there again.Approx 25 minute walk to the centre of the city. Surprised at the amount of students from various universities close by who sit each morning on main steps and window ledges of hotel eating food , smoking and leave their rubbish on the ground.

This hotel is more of a "business stop", it is conveniently located on the side of the highway ( it is quiet though, dont worry). What is good about it : parking. You get free parking in front of the hotel, and paid protected parking ( we went for the free parking, neighbourhood is perfectly safe despite what other comments say, it is just located in a humble neighbourhood). There is however 2 problems with his hotel, that could be fixed to make it better very fast !1 : ventilation, there is a problem with the aeration of the hotel, air does not circulate properly, that leads in mold build up and it makes it hard to breath, i dont know if its because of a bad design or a technical problem, but look at the picture on the window in the morning ( yes it is the inside of the window of our room ). Water is dripping. The mold gets on the back of the curtains.2 : smells coming up from the sinks, especially downstairs in the "public bathrooms), it seems to be a common problem in the spanish pluming, i have encountered it many times, maybe the drains evaporate because the air is too dry i dont know. The smell makes it unpleasant when you enter, or when you go in the lobby. I think it affects the overall mood of the staff ( of course it does, would you like to work where it smells bad ? ). Management needs to get this fixed.Employees were nice, but breakfast people too discreet/shy (never asked if we wanted an omelet or so ).Overall it is a good value for the money ( + it is one of the rare hotel in Cartagena that accepts pets, yay ! ).It is located in front of a big supermarket, convenient to get ice, drinks, food etc..

Hotel ok similar to a premier in. Vehicles get broken into all the time so leave nothing in your car

Hotel is clean enough and nice enough, but no spa / swimming pool and nothing much around - 40 minute walk to town centre.

No particular remarks, average hotel outside city centre. Breakfast good, dinner not at all.

The location is a little bit outside of town.

Great stay! Wonderfull rooms, clean and modern, good prices. Very friendly staff who always wanted to help. They spoke fluently English, not common in Cartagena.. I recommend Hotel NH Campo Cartagena to everyone!

It might have been a 20 minute walk to the heart of the city, but the service, cleanliness and fresh breakfast buffet make up for any of inconvenience served up. Next door tona park so you can exercise early or late, And loved how quiet it was yet close enough to the tourist action. Great for those who love to walk and truly explore a city

Staff is very friendly, its nice to have AC in the rooms because it gets hot during the Spanish summer. Good experience, but there are noticable wear and tear in the hotel room that should be taken care of.

The hotel is located out of the city, but in ten minutes by car you can arrive in the city centre, near the harbour. The room is good, it has all the accomodations. We not use any service, so we could not tell about it.
