Off the Trans-Canada Highway at Magnetic Hill, this relaxed, modern hotel is 15 minutes' walk from Casino New Brunswick, 11 minutes on foot from Magic Mountain Water Park and 9 minutes' walk from Magnetic Hill Zoo.Casual, classic rooms include free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and cable TV. Some add pull-out sofas.Continental breakfast is complimentary. There's a heated outdoor pool and off-street parking, as well as meeting space accommodating up to 125 people.
Very good place for night stay. Clean and safe with extraordinary customer service. Good room service.
It was a great place, good price, and good service. Great free breakfast. Great location beside the Magnetic Hill.
Ample parking for vehicles of all sizes even large buses and RVs, concierge fast and efficient, the rooms were clean and met all expectations.- shower nozzle is adjustable! People 6 and taller, no need to bend down to rinse your hair!- large dining room with a good selection of breakfast items for the continental.
The hotel bed was so comfortable I wanted to stay here longer. When I needed things like extra towels the staff told me to come to the front desk to pick them up.They should be coming to the room not me going to the front desk. The front desk staff were friendly besides that. The water pressure is the worst that I ever experienced at a hotel. It was so low that it took me triple the time of a regular shower to get clean. The air conditioner works but you have to really play around with the settings to get it to work.Free breakfast was included which was nice.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They told us they would price match, then refused the price match when we arrived. The "superviser" we very rude and refused to let me speak to a manager. The young woman who took my initial phone call (would not tell me her namedenied agreeing to the price match and pretended to not know what i was talking about. VERY disappointed with this whole experience. Would not recommend this dive to anyone.
Worse stay in years. Wish I took more pictures but this a couple of them. Bathroom door handle was broken, they used bandaids to hold up part of a "wall" air conditioner was so dirty, broken and had mold in it. Outdoor swimming pool was disgusting and made you skin feel slimy (was only in it for about 2 minutesbought our issues up with multiple staff members but nothing was done about it. Waste of over 200.00 I have asked to be contacted to resolve the matter but have yet to hear from anyone. Will be allowing 3 more days before I contact the department of health and safety as well as better business. This place is unacceptable. Mold is a very serious issue.
Booked online... chose the separate entrance... was a little more then the other available....get here and they put us in a broom closet... for 235 no entrance walked down a very slanted hallway... went to lobby... nothing they can do and shugged shoulders ..... wouldnt stay here again!
We stayed here out first night in Moncton, and while yes it is quite an old hotel the staff were pleasant and accommodating and the hotel itself was clean. Our room had a unique layout, the beds were comfy and they had a large flat screen TV that worked great. Their breakfast was delicious, the eggs and sausage were flavourful. We didnt visit the pool thats located outside, but the grass areas surrounding the hotel were tidy. Check in and check out was quick and easy. For the price youre paying, its a great spot to stay in and right next door to Magic Mountain.
The Location was really nice as it was right next to the highway as well as being downtown, the hotel had a pool and a casino to entertain yourself although the room was very dark.
The hotel is more akin to a motel style. 2 floors no elevator so u will have to lug around ur luggage if on the 2nd floor. Location is super convinent though. The rooms were fine for what it was, nothing fancy. Appreciated the microwave but the ac is loud, u do get used to it though. Included Breakfast was pretty good too.
Small hotel but clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast is quite good with many selection of foods. Scramble eggs, baried style bread, sausages, potatoes, orange juice, green tea, coffee. However, the AC split was making very loud and annoying noise. The room is small. No closet.
Not worth the money. We paid $255 for ONE night and there was barely enough room to walk around the room, the staff was dull, not very welcoming and not helpful, the rooms had what looked like foam pieces ontop of dry wall??? Extremely shoddy looking attempt at making it look like it’s been renovated and don’t even get me started on the bed. It creaked like it was 20 years old every time you moved. The only thing that somewhat made this hotel bearable was the breakfast.
Definitely not a hotel. Cheap motel priced like a hotel. Dirty floors, peeling paint and plaster on walls and cieling. Beds were clean as was shower. Would not reccomend for the price.
They say "you get what you pay for" - for us, Hotel Moncton was the exception. Our main-floor room had easy access, with our car parked right in front. A chair was provided for sitting on the small terrace. The rooms inside were perhaps nothing fancy, but clean, functional and adequately equipped. The free breakfast each morning was much more than expected as well.In the end, our stay was relaxed, comfortable and easy. This hotel is excellent for anyone seeking quality on a budget.
Dated Hotel but nice ...comparable to a Motel 6 in Ontario. Big plus is the free hot breakfast which is served from 7 to 9 am . Eggs, sausage, bagels, etc .Close to Casino ( walking distanceGolf, Go Karts , Tim Hortons and gas station. Would be a great place for motorcycle riding club stayover ..
Absolutely never again. Hot, humid and gross. A/C did nothing for us, cable didnt work (tv was useless). Dirty carpet and other furniture. Toilet was dirty and half the toilet paper was gone. Patches on the doors and walls that were clearly visible. I felt like I was about to be in a serial killer documentary. Do not recommend.
Booked an executive room which looked pretty nice in the pictures, the couch was very stained we couldnt sit in it, the bathroom was so tiny and we had no hot water in the bathroom sink for the 3 nights we stayed. On the Saturday night we were woken up at 2am by some very loud people clearly partying in the hallway, right outside our door!! Not even alittle bit soundproof. Barely any outlets. We wont be staying here again.
Overall I love Hotel Moncton and will definitely be back! For the price point it was wonderful. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing! The bathroom and sink unit were pretty. I loved the complimentary breakfast! The service was stellar! It was amazing value, a wonderful deal!Notes: I personally like a firm bed and this place had them! I slept like a baby. The rooms were a tad warm.
One of the worst experiences Ive had traveling on the road. Was quoted one price and then charged another when we got there late in the evening. And while I was trying to get it resolved the Clerk spoke Chinese & laughed to her manager so I wouldnt know what they were saying in front of me. Rude & disrespectful to someone coming from out of province and paying good money to stay at an establishment. Would definitely not recommend and we wont be back!
An older hotel but quaint and perfect for just sleeping over on the road. Its in the middle of nowhere and a lot of sites and places to go are a bit way off. Staff is pleasant and the place is well kept for an aging building. Tons of parking out front. One side of the building is circular which I found unique. My room was part of this so it had a nice view. Stay safe out there people and be kind to one another.
