Carrer de Pelai, 14, 08001 Barcelona, Spain, Barcelona
This genteel hotel is a 12-minute walk from Casa Batlló, 3 km from the La Sagrada Familia church and 5 km from Park Güell.Decorated in cool tones, the chic rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and Nespresso machines. Suites add sitting areas. Some have sofabeds, claw-foot tubs, balconies and/or terraces.Amenities include a restaurant, a lounge, and meeting and event space. There's also a rooftop terrace with an outdoor pool and a cocktail bar. Breakfast is available.
Great contemporary hotel with very attentive staff. They made our stay very comfortable and went out of their way to thank us for our stay, even writing us a hand written thank you note for selecting their hotel. Good breakfast, good deck and very close to las ramblas, shopping and restaurants.
The location was close to most of the sites and amenities. No fear even at late nights. The customer service was excellent and room cleaning observed environmentally friendly. Ask for a room higher than the 3rd floor facing the side road for peace and quite as the hotel main entrance faces a busy street.
The location couldnt be better, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was perfect for setting us up ahead of exploring Barcelona. Loads of choice and of high quality. That said..... our room, 103 was extremely noisy. At around 6.30am, an engine type noise would commence and wed be awake for the morning. Very frustrating. The bed was also so uncomfortable and we didnt sleep well for the 5 nights we were there. Would recommend though but not room 103.
So glad I chose this hotel! I loved the convenience to Los Ramblas and the Hop on Hop off buses, without being in the midst of all the plaza activity. Loved the rooftop pool and bar. But the best thing about the hotel, IMO - is the staff. Roberto, Isis, Laura (and more), everyone helped with tickets, and other travel issues I encountered on my first trip to Spain. Your problem was their problem. Also your website was the easiest to use I ever encountered.
A great location very clean and comfortable rooms and efficient staff
The multilingual staff was very helpful and friendly! I would highly recommend staying there when in Barcelona.
Great location, very close to L2 line of metro, just at the corner, very close Catalunya square to get all the buses and to go to the airport.Coming from airport bus A1 drops you 200m from the hotel.Amazing location!Great staff!
Grate hotel in grate place Roberto was very nice breakfast was good .room was clean. defiantly will go again
Very nice hotel, in close proximity to almost "everything"...
Very nice, clean room, good food and location!
First time visiting Barcelona and this hotel couldn’t have been better located. In walking distance of soooo much. Gorgeous hotel with lovely room, small (for the pricebut well decorated and comfortable. Housekeeping keep the hotel immaculate. The location is by far the best aspect of this hotel and I would recommend to everyone, especially those not too well acquainted with the city. Staff were pleasant. Will be returning on our next trip to Barcelona.
Thank you for an excellent 3 day stay! Appreciate the front desk team for our accommodating our requests!
The hotel was very central and extremely well appointed. Powerful shower, comfortable beds and pillows, clean and cool. Great rooftop bar, tables, loungers and plunge pool. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend.
Shower was was full of mold. Definitely not a 4 stars hotel, very disappointing.
Hotel Midmost have great staff, one of the best breakfast buffets, and it’s in a great location. What more could you ask for!
Hotel MidMost is a wonderful hotel, perfectly located close to Las Ramblas. Our room on the top floor (the only one up therewas quiet, very comfortable and well-appointed. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Very bad hotel I really don’t advise anyone to stay there , the front desk was so poor and they made me wait over 2 hours until they receive the confirmation and the room I choose was twin but they refused to get it to me so really bad services + front desk they really don’t know how to deal with customers
Just got back from a long weekend in Barcelona and stayed at MidMost. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and efficient and there was the most amazing smell at reception (I wish I remembered to purchase one of the candles)! The room is clean, well presented and decor is really lovely. Bed was comfy and bathroom was gorgeous! Only thing I would say was the drains were quite loud when anyone was using shower/toilet above (as we were only on the first floorbut it didn’t bother us! We had a nice spacious terrace as our room was facing inwards and it was so quiet at night, and you wouldn’t think you were in the middle of the city. It was the most perfect location, and within walking distance of everything you could need/want to do while in Barcelona. The rooftop pool was lovely and quiet too. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barca!
Absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Now this is a very busy area on a heavily trafficked street. We did walk a lot but transportation was needed to get to many of the sites around town. The area is absolutely gorgeous though. Being close to Plaza Catayolna where my son got to play and feed pigeons and then just walking around the Gothic Quarter and La Rumbla, it was so gorgeous and magical. The rooms were beautiful I loved having a balcony. It was also very clean. They gave us two rooms that connected so we had one big suite. It was perfect for our family of 5. We had two queen beds and a pull out sofa chair. Breakfast was AMAZING it absolutely blew us away. It was so delicious and we looked forward to it every morning, their selection was so good and my whole family never left hungry. The decor is elegant. The service was good, it wasn’t a type of hotel where they greeted you every time you walked in, which was interesting. My only con was we lost our room key one day and my husband went down bringing his ID thinking they would check. No one checked his ID and just gave our room key to my husband. That was slightly concerning for us as far as safety. It’s also very hard during different times of the day to get a cab, the hotel did try to call but were on hold forever so make sure you download one of the cab apps like free now. Don’t miss out on your free glass of cava at the rooftop bar. They have a small pool and pretty views. There was hardly anyone up there when we visited. The hotel recommended dinner at La Flauta and I have to say it was one of our best meals on this vacation it’s a definite must do. All in all we had an amazing stay and look forward to returning.
Took a hen party to Barcelona and stayed at the Midmost. Excellent location, lovely rooms and beautiful rooftop terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Joau! Will definitely be back.
Nice place - perfect location, however; do not order food from the bar on the roof. We waited 45 minutes for a “pizza” that looked like a budget frozen pizza from a supermarket. It cost about 14€. The bar was near empty, so there can hardly be a rush on. Terrible food, comically long wait. Only my overwhelming Englishness prevented me from sending it back. It never got eaten as my wife had gone elsewhere.
They will scam you- do not stay here. When we checked in, the price they gave us on the bill was about £20 higher than what was listed in our confirmation email. It wasn’t a lot of money, but enough that if they upcharge every guest they’re making a decent profit scamming. We asked the concierge about the difference and showed him the confirmation email with the price we had agreed to pay. He insisted the upcharge was tax, despite the fact our quoted price was tax inclusive. We then had dinner our first night at their restaurant and paid with credit card right there and then. When we checked out, they billed us for the meal and insisted we hadn’t paid yet. We reviewed charges and were double charged for the first meal. We have yet to be refunded. There are plenty of fantastic places to stay in Barcelona, go somewhere that isn’t trying to rip you off.
A great location, central to most everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful on a number of topics. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great!
Great experience, great location, clean, well maintained and beautiful rooms. Helpful staff. Great views from balconies and roof top bar.
Awesome location, great rooms, and incredibly friendly/accommodating/helpful staff.
It was without a doubt an excellent choice. The location is excellent next to the Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya, with metro and buses nearby. The Hotel has excellent conditions, and the breakfast is very varied and plentiful. The room is very spacious and the bathroom is always clean. The staff are very friendly and always available to help. A special thanks to Roberto who received us and guided us in some questions.
I enjoyed my stay thoroughly! An eight-night visit went extremely well. The only drawback is the sidewalk scene in the early AM. If the street loitering situation can be improved by the city a little, your hotel would be the ideal location for any visitor.Midmost is a very appealing boutique hotel and Im very pleased with the my experience overall.
The hotel is in an unbeatable location - perfect walking distance to La Rambla and the Passage de Gracia. Extremely helpful reception team who organised tickets and directions for us during our stay. The rooftop terrace is the perfect way to spend a sunny late afternoon with drinks in the sunshine and the available breakfast was great too.We will be back!
We had a wonderful stay at Midmost Barcelona. Our room (Junior Suitewith 3(!balconies was very spacious and furnished to a high standard. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. All staff, from reception, breakfast, cleaning and rooftop bar were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to purchase all tickets at the front desk. The breakfast was also very very good. Only small comment: the air conditioning in the breakfast room was a bit too cold. We will be happy to come back again!
Excellent boutique hotel! Lots of nice decorative touches around the hotel. Lovely rooftop bar and Mediterranean flowers, olive trees, rosemary (service for drinks was very slow though). Breakfast was yummy!! Thank you!
One not to be missed.Great positionProfessional, courteous teamLovely roomsExceptional stayValue for money👍💕
Great place to stay. Central location. The staff were excellent and friendly, couldnt do enough to help you. Would recommend!
It was my first time in Barcelona and the hotel was really great. The location is perfect - next to Metro and walking distance from Rambla. We were in a room on top with easy access to the pool so the view was pretty nice. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good- we stayed almost a week so started to get bored with the options, but thats on us. Staff was super nice and helpful so I would definitely be coming back. One small tip better book directly with them as they have nice perks which we missed since we used another website.
Great first look of the hotel itself. Very nice and helpfull staf. Nice and clean room and great breakfast. Great location, near every kind of public transportation. We would definitely stay here again! No complaints what so ever..
great clean hotel, perfect location and friendly staff, book without breakfast as you will get better value for money outside
Perfectly located, rooms are good and beds are comfy. Not given full 5 stars because I felt the breakfast was limited and our tea/coffee/cups/ kept being forgotten to be replaced/refilled when our room was made up.
When we arrived our room smelled awful (like sweaty feet/terrible musty smellthe room itself did not seem clean( not vacuumed /broken tile in the bathroomwhen asked to switch rooms we were told it was impossible as the hotel was fully booked. Our only option was to come the next day before 12, leave our belongings and then get a room at 3. We didn’t wish to go without a room for those 3 hours as my husband had to take a work call around that time. When we came back to the hotel for his call I once again asked to change rooms, after being told no again and arguing they finally agreed to change our room. We were rushed out of the one we were in (the cleaning staff literally stood outside our room asking us to hurry upthe newer room was much cleaner and had no smell but honestly not worth the hassle as there are nicer 4 star hotels in Barcelona. I would not choose to stay here again. On top of that the hotel staff was not apologetic at all and there was no compensation or action taken to rectify the situation the for the first night stay. Very disappointing.
+ The service was friendly and attentive. Nice little terrace on top of the hotel that would be great in the summer although we saw people sunbathing in February )The breakfast was very nice too - good choice and everything was very fresh.- Little details that would stop us from booking this hotel again: missing coffee cups in the room even though the hotel provides tea and coffee ( for some reason free tea and for the coffee you have to pay for...found it odd), blocked sink in the bathroom, random make up stains on the doors/walls of the bathroom and some others. Yes they are easily fixable but as we stayed for one night only - the overall impression was ruined a little bit.
Location was rather good. As it is name it was middle of the city and I walked around the city . Breakfast was enough and proper . It wasnot like I expected in a Mediternean country and 4 stars hotel but then I learned that Spanish folk have easy breakfast , it is not main meal for them finally I understood. Midmosts croissant and fresh tomat sauce was very delicious. Personel was helpful and nice.
I had such a great experience here at this hotel. Midmost is such a nice place to stay in Barcelona. We stayed here for 4 days. It is very centrally located and you can walk to soooo many great restaurants like Ciudad Condal ! The staff here is so friendly! I want to say a special thank you to Iris. Iris is amazing and helped us so much on our trip! She helped us book Flamenco tickets and restaurant reservations which we enjoyed so much! Iris was also super friendly, helped us learn some Spanish, and it made our vacation so much more fun! Thanks Iris and Midmost! We will come back whenever we vacation in Barcelona!
Beautiful room, beautiful balcony….Great staff!*thank you Jemma for helping us book this lovely room*There was some street noise all night every night from the insane nightlife in Barcelona, so if you’re a lite sleeper pass up the balcony rooms.I loved this place! Thanks to all staff for a 5 star stay!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lovely Hotel to stay in! Clean and spacious, our window was overlooking a busy street and we could not hear a thing. Good soundproofing....would definitely recommend 👌👍
Very small room. They said it had view and all i got is a back wall in-front of my window. No blanket (has to request)No slippers and ancillaries/cutleries in the room.Hygiene not so good if you care.Reception took long time to check me in.At check out they charged my bill twice and am still waiting for them to retransfer it back.
When considering the positives, the hotel is in an amazing location. We were a quick walk away from amazing shops restaurants and cafes. Also the staff is very polite and knowledgeable. There was nothing that we asked for that they could not fully handle. Lastly, the hotel is very cute and stylish. However, considering negatives, we did not have a comforter, just a thin sheet to sleep on. The cleaner never fully cleaned our apartment, and there was some food from a previous guest left on the floor under a table. They also left their cleaning supplies in our room one day. The pool was way smaller then I expected and the seats in the lounge area are very close. Overall it wasn’t the worse experience ever, but that’s also because we were rarely in the room.
Hotel looks great and is also close by everything like stores. staff is very nice and polite. Overall I had a great stay!
Excellent facility with great staff...Initially booked 3 days and had to extend to a week. Location can not be better next to La Rambla at Plaza Catalonia. Rooftop terrace with cozy pool is good for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommended.
Great hotel and service. We faced cancelation of our previous airbnb and they could give us a room on the same day. The rooms are clean, AC works great and keeps everything cold in hot Barcelona summer oh and the washroom was spacious. The hotel is also close to shopping centers, attractions and restaurants. I will Recommend a room on the 5th floor, great view from balcony.
If you’re in the reviews concerned about whether you should book there or not, definitely DO ! People there were one word : A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. We had a terrible experience with our flight while leaving Spain and we suddenly had to find some place for one more day . Our luck was huge to have found this hotel. Everything from comfort, cleanliness, discreetness, aesthetic (and unexpectedly, but also price in our case )was 100%. And the most important for people like us who were really tired and really needed some rest, were the beds, so comfy and clean. Hope we come back the soonest !
My wife and I stayed here during our first trip together to Barcelona. It was a very nice hotel. Great room with wonderfully darkening curtains, nice breakfast and a terrazzo on top with great views and pools. The hotel was located quite central and we enjoyed our stay a lot.
Stayed 3 nights in August. Air-conditioning kept us cool during the hot days and nights. Friendly staff. Great location close to everything you need. Air bus stop just a few minutes walk away (University stop). Great view from the rooftop bar/pool. We didnt eat at the hotel and didnt have a car so no comments about those issues.
