Hotel Londra in Florence

This hotel room was nice, and a Terrance with chairs to sit and watch. You have a view. Free breakfast, in the middle of all the action. 2 blocks from the train station. Just beautiful 😍 it is one of the party hotels like the W.

Just outside the ZTL area. Hotel has a garage and a car park but neither can be booked on advance. Dont be put off by the exterior, inside is much nicer with elegantly furnished comunal areas and a bar with a small outside patio. We opted for Design rooms so got a higher floor. Rooms were a good size and the bed was comfortable. Noisy if you have a room overlooking the front of the hotel and sleep with the windows open.

Clean, good breakfast, nice customer service, only downside would be the furniture in the room, as it was quite old and therefore not in the best condition. Very good location, walking distance from the city centre and there is also free parking available on the premises.

You must reorganize your breakfast buffet experience in timely manner. Forcing 20 peoples to queue for 15 mins in the middle of the room together will not help to prevent Covid hazard. It’s time consuming and inefficient. It’s also not safe. You loose service and safety.

Positive: · Free parking. Proximity to city center.Negative:Staff arrogant and unfriendly, especially the approx. 40 yo long haired receptionist. Check in procedure: waited for the two receptionists to finish their conversation for 2 minutes before even talking to me. Then: passports. Your room is xy. Done. No further explanation about breakfast, wifi, check-out time whatsoever. On the day of leaving they let me wait 15 minutes in the car in the garage before opening the garage door. My wife saw the receptionist coming from the eating area before getting to the reception after ringing 5 times and me waiting in the car 15 minutes. Fun fact: before going down to the car I told the receptionist to open for me and he said he would, instead he rather leaves to let us wait.Also big minus: NO cleaning service and NO functioning air conditioning in the room. The room was hotter than outside, we had to leave the balcony door open the whole night to get it cooler, letting mosquitos in to bite us and experiencing the loud traffic noise!!Never had such a bad service in a 4 star hotel, neither in Europe nor in Asia.

Comfortable and clean, breakfast was high quality with a lot of choice and staff were nice. The lobby and bar was very comfortable and really good to hang out in.

One star is too high of a rating. Nasty rooms and very nasty staff! Carpet was soiled and moldy. Bathroom was moldy and trash never emptied. Smoke smell was never aired out. Worst experience ever!!

We have been pretty disappointed by our stay at Hotel Londra. The floors were not wood like on the photos but dusty carpet. The room and bathroom were quite old and small. Moreover, except for the muesli, the breakfast was not good at all. The first day we ordered it in the room and the guy on the phone did not tell us this service was not free of charge. He also did not seem aware of what was on the menu. He said the orange juice was fresh but that clearly was not the case. Even if the location is pretty nice, the staff is not friendly, therefore I would avoid staying there.

This is one of the best hotels ever. They have contemporary styles all over the hotel.We ordered grilled lamb chops marinated with three peppers. Taste so good.

Air conditioner did not work hotel room is comparable to a motel room beds arent very comfortable and is far away from the main shops. Service was good and so was the food.

This is elegant with high level of hospitality. The breakfast is Whao! I love the fact that you have a mini television in the bathroom where you can follow what you are watching in the room.The smartness of the room in terms of power consumption and appliance management is highly laudable.

Lots of noise inside the room from the water running down the walls. At times unbearable during night. Breakfast is good. Location is perfect. Welcoming staff.

Fantastic location in Florence to go to the main tourist destinations (might be a bit of walking but found some nice alleyways to exploreOtherwise its a 5 min taxi ride.

The location is excellent; not in the very middle of the city where its loud but still a very short walk from the station if you come by train. Our room was big and nice; the only downside was that it was difficult to get cold enough water to drink from the tap. The personnel is very friendly and the breakfast is good. However, the biggest plus is the restaurant downstairs. The food is absolutely amazing and the personnel wonderful.

I am completely satisfied on my Stay at Hotel Londra . Hotel is located very nearby to Central railway station and dram and autobus stations . I would like to share about the Breakfast buffet and fine dine is awsome experiance in this hotel . I would definitely stay next time visit Firenze.

Telephone booth showers with water flowing over half the bathroom floor, flattest pillows ever, room walls need paint or cleaning.

This hotel was really wonderful! With kind and friendly staff, delicious breakfast buffet and a filling florentine steak at the restaurant downstairs!My only criticism is that the hotel was really challenging to find when we walked to the city center. My mom and I got really turned around for over an hour. It took me 3 days to orient myself in the city anyway (not the Hotels faultbut just something to be aware of if you plan on walking or taking public transportation to save money.

Excellent hotel. Very close to the train station, clean, attentive staff and an excellent breakfast. Room #403 needs to be redone as the washroom is so tight, even a cat cant fit in there. I was banging my elbows on the shower door behind me as I was brushing my teeth at the sink.

Wi-fi was spotty, drink prices were expensive. Bathroom shower was terrible. It had foldable door and water was everywhere.

Location is good, but the service by the reception ruined my mood. I think they dont deserve 4 stars, but I deserve at least a smile and respect with patience.

The room is nice the shower is good but water goes out quite easily of the shower so a wet floor. The service was good and the breakfast was decent.

I had a terrible experience last month in This hotel, I had a friend from Korea in a separate room and at 3am in the morning a bunch of Chinese people entered in his room while he was sleeping, but the worst part is that they popped in along with a person from the hotel who opened the room. My friend was deeply sleeping and all of a sudden had three drunk people in his room. Basically, when we complained, the hotel said that these 3 drunk chinese lost their room key and could not remember they room number either, so the lady from the reception helped them opening all the rooms of the floor till they found the room! This is insane and scary! Stay away from this hotel!

I dont think Hotel Londra deserves its 4 star rating, there are a couple of things that put me off including; room service is slow, the beds are on wheels and they slide very easily and they do not restock the coffee or mini fridge every day. However its fairly central location allowed us to get to places easily by foot.

The hotel does not match the declared stars. Very old rooms. Indifferent staff. Noise from neighboring rooms and streets. No iron in hotel! For that 4 stars??? No slippers in the room. The safe box is destroyed. A spoiled business trip.

Nice hotel.. great location friendly staff.. very spacious rooms.. good buffet breakfast.. loved our stay.. the hotel helped a lot with the luggage.. all the basic amenities were available in the room.. like we really needed the electric kettle in the room which was available without any deposit.. distance from the Florence central station was about 150m, walkable of course, with the luggage too. Loved Florence.. and loved the stay in Hotel Londra.

Loved the warming bars in the bathroom, consistently warmed the towels..a plus after showering. It was an unseasonal 26 degrees

Check-in was seem less, staff is accommodating, and the location is central to everything! Ive been walking distance to everywhere Ive wanted to see. Room is spacious and meets my needs. The towels are the biggest and comfiest Ive ever seen! Breakfast every morning is delicious, dont miss out.

We enjoyed our visit here with our family. They have rooms with 3 beds which was nice with our 3 kids. The staff were helpful. The included breakfast was great. Rooms big for Europe but small by US standards. Walking distance to train.We would stay here again.

The pictures were offly misleading. Other than the restaurant and the friendly staff, we did not know why this hotel is 4 stars. We were very disappointed with the room. It was very old, it even had dirt marks on the wall, and it had a small bathroom. They said the new rooms were upstairs but it was fully booked. Even the pictures of the gym are misleading. Wish they could just post realistic pictures.

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, very good location, all of Florence is in walking distance. Nice room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good.

Good location close to the train station and the historic city centre. The room is clean and spacious with good air conditioning and a nice bathroom. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is tasty and varied. There is a gym in the basement with a multi gym and some cardio machines.

Good place with many additional services. Near to the station and not so far away from rental car. You have to walk a bit to get in the city center, but at least you can sleep at night. Kindly staff

Good locatuon, close to St Maria Nouvelle. quite a few good restaurant within walking distance. The room is fairly good although a bit small.

Very nice restaurant and dining area. However the quality of the rooms, specifically the bed and shower, leave something to be desired. Every floor seems to be split-level in a least several areas. Includes breakfast was great. Overall the place is nice enough

Its clean, yes. And its fairly close to some attractions. But it is BORING!!! They have a beautiful patio that would be great and MAKE THEM A LOT MORE MONEY if they would play music. But they dont. So if you want a quiet nights sleep and no stimulation then by all means check out the hotel londra.

I was there with some guests of my company. Hotel was easy to find and quite close to the train station. Person at the reception has a distanced attitude and looks kind of irritated when i kindly asked if we could hurry up a little the procedure since we got a business meeting coming up.

Very nice hotel! Only complaint is no outlets next to bed for charging cell phone overnight and using alarm clock.

15 min walk to reach the Duomo: perfect position, easy to reach by car (car park available).Free wifi, many free channels on a wide tv screen, nice rooms: this is a real 4 star hotel
