Hotel Klastrom in Gyor

Really nice place, clam atmosphere and really close to city center. I noticed is also a really good place for people coming by bike, they even have some spaces for bikes insede. Hihgly recommended

Great hotel in Gyor. It’s in a old cloister, very unique atmosphere for a great experience. The room was very clean with a lot of charm. There wasn’t any shower gel or shampoo though. The staff was welcoming and we were allowed to park our bikes in the garden. Great value for money, highly recommended.

Staying at an old former monastery right in the old town of Gyor was great! Old rooms (cells?with vaulted ceilings and modern amenities overlooking a secure courtyard with bike storage and parking. Great breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff!

A good hotel in its category. We stayed two days here and liked it. The superior rooms are indeed more superior, as they have an airconditioning system. On warm days, this is necessary for a good night’s sleep, because the streets can be too noisy to open the window in the standard bed rooms. The building is a beautiful old monastery, renovated nicely. The staff is very professional and friendly.

This hotel is located in a former monastery, so the layout is pretty cool and also historical. The location is great, right in the city center. Paid parking on site. The room was just ok. Because its an old building you hear a lot and no air conditioning. It did come with a fan, but that didnt help when its +30 outside. So we opened the window and hear the cars and busses on the street. Bathroom modern enough and overall was pleasant, but the sleeping aspect was difficult because of noise.

Beautiful building and great location, but incredibly rude staff.

Treat yourself with a very nice stay in an old building close to the ole town centre of Gyor. The place is really nice, still parts of the old architecture encountered, but also you will find all the services you need. The room was very clean, bathroom too. Toilet is in a separate area than shower and sink. Staff was nice, breakfast was good.

One of my favourite hotels in Györ. The house is very interesting, the service friendly and they have a parking lot.The hotel I located very central why you find a lot of good restaurants there.

Its a nice little place in a beautiful old town.Only 4 Stars because the bathrooms are quite old school, but in a good shape.

We have been here during the summer vacation on passing by and we needed a sleeping place. This is what we found with Uncle Google. Very good hotel with best price. We took incl. Breakfast and everything was as it should be. Professional service and people. Glad we took this hotel. Very, very advised !!Next year ? Planning to the same hotel. Thnx !

Hotel with great interiors, close to the old town

Very stylish, just like in 17th century with modern "bells and whistles". Very kind host, clean room. I recommend without hesitation.

The bathroom was dirty. I stayed one night but I woulbnt come back again.

I had a pleasant stay at Klastrom. The monastic atmosphere and friendly staff definitely earn points in favour of the hotel. Some of the rooms are a little dated though, particularly the shower, which consisted of a bathtub with a detached handheld shower head. I had to be very careful not to get the bathroom wet when taking a shower. The internet was also a bit shaky but thats a blessing in disguise. I would happily stay here again but at EUR 50/night 3 stars is the most I can give.

Good location next to old city center. Former monastery converted into hotel.

Nice in terms of location. Centre is wright there, however some people on reception seems left from times it was women monastery, so if you meet girl in glases act descent.If speaking seriously I had some problems with wifi, this depends on the location of your room, since walls are thick and corridors long. Also since building is old there is no elevator, that somewhat unpleasant experience tho meet if you carry much stuff with you. Any way see how look like monks cell might be intetesting experience for some people.

Nice rooms. Friendly personnel. Unfortunately AC is available only in rooms in 2nd floor. Rooms in ground floor are very nice but also very noisy because of the traffic in the street even during the night.

Air conditioning is missing from rooms but this would be the only downside. Clean rooms and very good breakfast

If you look at it from historical perspective, its part of really old monastery. I could see Pope John Paul visit photos there. But considering facilities for a hotel it really needs upgradation. There is no lift and if you get room on 2nd floor, may God help you. Rooms are small and congested on 1st floor. Really no place to move.

Wed booked room with airconditioning and windows into inside of hotel, but we got room without airconditioning and with windows into street. If we didnt make a complain about it, they didnt give us even discount.

Oops the ancient horse-chestnut tree is gone. I found the reception staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Bit noisy at night, but certainly has atmosphere.

Clean and spacious rooms, but they are lacking an AC, which can be a a bit bothersome when it is hot, especially as opening the windows lets in the noise from the street right in front of the building. Okay breakfast selection.

A very unique hotel, having once been a monastery and church, perfectly located along the river in the historical area of Gyor. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
