מלון קפלן זה קודם כל אלי.אלי, הבעלים, מעניק יחס הכי אישי שאי פעם נתקלתי בו, הוא מכיר כל אורח ומתענין בו כבבן משפחה ממש.המון עצמו, מלון ששוכן בבית לשימור, מאוד אופייני ומייצג את האוירה בירושלים.במלון נמצא במיקום הכי טוב שיש בעיר, קרוב לכל המקומות החשובים בעיר והכל בטווח הליכה ממש קצרה.מלון בהחלט מעולה למי שבה לטייל בירושלים, פחות מתאים לדעתי, למי שבא לנפוש בירושלים.הסרטון של המלון וסביבתו נמצא בערוץ היו טיוב שלי:Shaulevi Reviewsתהנו....

מקום מוש. המלון פשוט אך נקי. אם אתם צריכים חדר מיטה ומקלחת, זה המלון ! לא יקר בכלל, והכל מאוד פשוט ונוח. יש מטבח משותף עם קפה/תה ומקרר ותנור ומיקרו ומכונת כביסה וייבוש. אבל זה כלום לעומת המיקום המושלם במרכז ירושלים מול כיכר ציון, אבל שקט ונעים.הזמנתי בbooking, אבל במלון אמרו לי שאם מזמינים דרך האתר שלהם אז יש הנחה 5% במחיר.בקיצור היה מאוד נוח להתארח שם וכיוון שכבר ניסיתי הרבה מקומות אירוח שונים בירושלים, זה אחד הטובים .

This is a decent hotel, you get what you pay for. It is in an excellent location with everything on your doorstep, many cafes, restaurants, tram stop and it is only a 10-15 minute walk to the old city of Jerusalem. The owner is a nice guy, however.......there was one thing that put a black mark on our stay though, noise.I write this review (July 2022). For anyone thinking of making a booking with hotel kaplan it may be a good idea if you confirm with management if they will still be in the middle of hotel renovations. Disappointingly hotel management did not inform us of construction works ongoing in the hotel and we had our stay severely disrupted by noise, very loud hammer drilling and general construction work. Some of this work continued (loudlylate into the evenings, and you could normally hear hammer drilling around 8.30am, one evening at 7pm.On our last night we heard cleaning in the hallway outside our rooms around midnight. The hallways had constant noise, chatter, phonecalls, banging etc. For anyone who likes to go out all day and maybe come in for a nap before going out for dinner, no chance.I write this review so people will not get caught out like we did. Hotels in Jerusalem are not cheap and people deserve the honest the service they pay for.

מלון קטן מקסים במרכז העניינים של ירושלים, ממוקם על המדרחוב במרכזו, אלי ונתן בעלי המלון תמיד נחמדים, אדיבים, מחייכים, מחיר הוגן, חדרים קטנים עם כל מה שצריך ומרפסת תבלינים קטנה ומתוקה. קפה כמו בבית במטבח מרכזי של המלון, הכל צנוע ומוצלח. מי שבא לטייל בירושלים וצריך מקום לינה נוח ונעים לא להסס. מומלץ בחוםםםםם❤️😎🤩

מקום טוב חדרים לא נקי הרבה עובש במקחחת

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to the train station and the old city, both in walking distance (20 and 15 min respectively).The room I stayed was simple, but renovated and well maintained. There are elements in the property like studs on the floor to prevent any “slippery” incidents. Nathan and Eli are the best hosts I have ever met. Heart warming people, with lots of humor, who instantly connect with their guests. Always there to share tips and advice on how to navigate, and get to understand this multi-cultural city. Above all, they care about their guests’ well-being. Will definitely stay there again, the atmosphere in this hotel is amazing!

מיקום טוב מאוד, חדר קטן ומיושן, מקלחות לא נוחות במיוחד.

Must get room with balcony. First time using shared kitchen, would prefer kettle in room. Staff welcoming. Not far from OLD CITY. Easy to walk or use tram to visit other important places from hotel.

Nice and cheap. Friendly staff. No elevator so a little annoying with luggage up a bunch of stairs

Ive spent few nights there and its a decent, clean (although a bit oldand well-located budget hotel. Facilities in the room include a cable TV, Wifi and small refrigirator. Owners are very nice and there is kitchen you can use for cooking if desired. The only negative feedback I have is that because of its centralized location there are noises/music into the night coming from the plaza near it.

Simple, clean and right in the center!

מלון בוטיק מקסים במיקום אידיאלי - במרכז העיר.מסביב המון בתי קפה, הופעות רחוב, ברים, חנויות ואטרקציות כמו מרכז המוזיקה, מתחם השבעה, שדרות ממילא ועוד. עם הרכבת הקלה ניתן להגיע לכל מקום בדקות ספורות.הבעלים אדם מקסים ואדיב מאוד.לקחנו חדר עם מרפסת והיה פשוט תענוג לפתוח את היום ולסיים אותו עם כוס קפה במרפסת.לגמרי אשמח להצארח שוב.

Очень приятное место. В центре города, красиво. Очень чисто, есть кухня со всеми принадлежностями, номера маленькие, но достаточно места. Сантехника хорошая . Хозяин душка, веселый, приятный. Рекомендую

Not worth the price (100USD/night), more like a hostel than a "HOTEL". Room was extremely small, no balcony to sit outside. Shower was extremely small, the walls were so thin we had to hear the neighboring rooms noises, sex action. The owner was a friendly, pleasant person. This accomodation worths 30-40 USD but no more...

Ottima posizione!Volevo intanto ringraziare lhost per la sua gentilezza, abbiamo dormito per 2 notti e non ci é mancato nulla. L hotel si trova in pieno centro di Jaffa street e a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Gerusalemme(ma avevamo anche la fermata del tram davanti lhotel).Grazie e super consigliato.

החדר היה קטן מאדביקשנו להחליף מצעים הם הסכימו בקושי אמרו שמחליפים רק פעמיים בשבוע ורצו לתת לנו מצעים שאנחנו נחליף בעצמנו לא הסכמתי הגברת שהחליפה לבסוף שאלה אם גם אצלי בבית אני מחליפה כל יום ביקשתי לטאטא את הריצפה שהייתה מלוכלכת עוד לפני שנכנסנו אמרו שלא מוכנים לשטוף לבסוף נתנו לנו מטאטא שנעשה זאת בעצמנו לא ידעתי שבאתי למלון בשביל לעבוד בניקיון אין קומקום בחדר אין אפשרות לשתייה חמה השולחן היה מאד קטן מין מדף צר המזרנים היו דקים ופשוטים המיטה הזוג הורכבה משתי מיטות יחיד השמיכות היו דקות מאד וצרות הרעש מהמסדרון וברחוב לא הפסיק והוויה הפרעה משמעותית בחדראם אתם מחפשים אכסניה/מקום להניח את הראש זה מעולה מעבר לזה לא תמצאו מענה ראוי ובטח שלא מפנקבכל מקרה אם תבחרו להזמין צרו קשר טלפוני עם המלון ויתנו לכם מחיר טוב יותר

Best place to stay

Hotel Kaplan is a good value stay for anyone who doesnt need fancy surroundings. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean enough. It could use some modernization though. However the perfect location makes up for that. We can recommend this Hotel.

Very kind owner! Newly renovated rooms! Security has been upgraded too! Only about 10 minutes walk to Jaffa gate of old city! 24 hours open mini market only 3 minutes walking away ( bit expensive, but accept overseas credit cards).City rail Jaffa central stop is very close! From central bus only 5.9 shekels?. Shared taxi from Hotel to tel Aviv airport is under 70 shekels!

I solemnly swear we would love to return to the Hotel Kaplan on Jaffa Street, just a 10 minute straight walk down to the Old City & the Jaffa Gate. Our room [for 3] was good & super handy. Just walk out the door [about 5 yards from the corner of the building] & presto you are at, surely, the best location in Jerusalem and at such a good low price. Right across the street [Jaffa] is the Zion Square where many nights buskers are performing, wonderful music of all sorts, on the violin and guitar. Shops abound - gelato, Aroma [coffee], food, drug stores, you name it. On Sabbath, about a 5-10 minute walk, are several restaurants, like Cafe Sira, such good food, low price, kind of international cuisine. We hopped the light rail, about 50 yards from the entrance, and took the tram to Mt Hertzl & Yad Vashem [about 10 minute walk after the tram stop]. Kaplan is about a 15 minute walk to Hertz Rent-a-Car in Mamilla. 15 minute walk to the King David Hotel, where we had lunch. Kaplan has a kitchen where you can eat your carry-in & always get a cup of coffee. Ellie & Nathan are great hosts, with good English & good humor. This 80 to 90 year old building is solid as a rock, which it is being built out of Jerusalem stone which is mandatory for all buildings in Jerusalem.

Molto centrale. Il proprietario ci ha permesso di lasciare il bagaglio fino alle 14:00. La camera era pulita ma piccola e spartana. La posizione era comoda perché si affacciava su uno dei principali viali della movida di Gerusalemme ma al tempo stesso proprio per questo è anche molto rumorosa. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è dei migliori.

Outstanding, the owner was delightful. Room was outstanding. Very clean. Bed was great. Would recommend staying there.

It was beautiful.

We really had a great time at this hotel. Especially because of the super sweet, chatty host who was very helpful and friendly and always had a story to share. We felt very welcomed. The rooms are simple but clean and freshly renovated. We would come back any time - at least to say hello to Mister Joystick, the cutest Head of Security we ever had the pleasure to meet.

A good and affordable place. Very nicely located - recommend if you need a place to sleep rather than live.

Stayed 2 times and going back this December - owners are incredibly helpful, hotel is in perfect location (square and western wall- rooms small but updated, very clean and all the comforts you will need (good tv / a/c / hot water etc etc-- incredible value given all the above - nothing wrong in this writers opinion (I have travelled 65 countries, from hostels to 5 star hotels)

Beautiful hotel/bnb perfectly placed near Jerusalems old city. Owner was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. He looked after us and made sure are stay was pleasant. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Kaplan is in a central location to tons of shops and restaurants. The hotel is almost done with renovations and the new room we stayed in was nice, sleek, and clean. The owner of the hotel was super nice. I did get eaten alive by mosquitoes when we left the French doors to the balcony open.

Sababa, however hard it is to bring your E-bike up two floors.
