Hotel Kamat in Solapur

Its good ti have breakfast here. Specialy if you love bread jam butter or idli. Hotel is famous for the idli.its costly but worth it.

We had gone there for evening snacks.... it has a decent menu and the taste was excellent.... we tried French fries, rava dosa, puri bhaji, onion uttapam and coffee....

South Indian tiffen like idly, dosa are available. The taste is really good. The hotel is maintained well. There is parking space for 4wheelers at a specified location. When I visited, the regular crowd was not there. Hence, the experience was delightful.

It was once a legacy of hotels in Solapur, but then slowly its legacy went down and then they renovated it a few years back, but now although the place and ambience is good, but it is very costly, at this price you can afford a five start hotel.Pros:- The south Indian breakfast menu (all items under thatwill be the best try anytimeCons:- The price you pay, the worth you wont get.

If wanna have authentic South Indian udipi style breakfast and meal then definitely go for Kamat restaurant.

Waste hotel the hotel staff saya to the customer to surve ur self In A/C cabbin they take extra charge for colddrink there is 20Rs MRP this hotel takes 40 per pc in A/C cabbin all types of charges are take on bill but even fingerbowl is nt provided we ware 6 ppls

We went here by looking at the huge rating and reviews this place has. We ordered mainly south indian food which was good.But..... The real tragedy happened after we ordered Tomato Omlette. Please do not waste your money on this food item. You dont get a single tomato slice in your omlette and they claim that tomato is grinded in the batter. But omlette doesnt even have the COLOR of tomato. And trust me it was tasteless. Check the pic attached.And the worst part is manager says we checked the taste of batter which is perfect 😂

Food prices in the AC section are high. Puri bhaji subji was just pathetic. Uttapa was good. The behavior of the staff is not good at all.

Good service and breakfast as idli, uttapa, wada sambhar, upma, fried idli and coffee was tasty

We tried poori bhaji and aloo bonda here, both were very good in taste. A bit expensive as compared to other breakfast shops but worth of money.

If there was number in minus I would give them -5 the hotel dosent have hygiene,very dirty toilets ,waiters are not good in behaviour,no serving,bended utensils ,I am very disappointed 😡

The food is good but seat cushions in AC section are very old and dirty dont feel like sitting .Also lighting in AC section is very poor, brightness needs to be improved.

They maintained their quality of food, service very well. You will get wide variety of breakfasts here. Its bit expensive but worth it.

Best restaurant in town, but only one request please serve hot tea instead of Luke warm tea when ordered. May be because its prepared in advance but not much attention is given by cooks to keep it hot. I have been disappointed many times.

This is one restaurant right on the way from Solapur to Pune where idli and dosas are served. The restaurant is maintained clean, the customers are well received by the waiters and no customer is made to wait in taking the orders. Waiters are well behaved. I chose this place simply based on its name. Kamat restaurants are well known for serving good foods all over Karnataka. However, Kamat restaurants differ on the taste and quality of food based on the prefix used with "Kamat". As far as this restaurant is concerned i.e. Bengre Kamats, the food tastes good but not as good as compared to Kamat restaurants in Vijayapur, Hubli, Bengaluru and other districts in Karnataka. Overall Bengre Kamats is by far a good choice for anyone to have south indian breakfast. Also, rice items such as veg pulav or puliyogere was not available when I had breakfast here.

One of the oldest restaurants in Solapur. Water is still served in fulpatra here. Known for Udupi breakfast. Good ambience. Rates are bit on higher side.Food quantity was good.Tried Paneer Sultani..was ok ok. Overall good hotel at prime location

Tried North Indian dish in South indian restaurant... food was delicious and delivery was fast.All covid norms were followed by resto staff.

Pure vegetarian food resto with both AC and non AC sections best known for south indian delicacy. One should try most recommended PURI BHAJI for once. Separate section for both family and groups.N.b:- COVID19 Norms followed.

Oldest and the best place in solapur. Breakfast lunch and dinner all are mind-blowing. Staff and services is very quick dont let you wait. I tried Idli Sambar, Vada Sambar, Masala dosa, shira, Upma, Poha, Coffee and tea. The ambiance is also good like a South Indian restaurant. I would suggest you to try their Filter Coffee ☕. Highly Recommended for breakfast with family.

One of the oldest restaurant in Solapur.Now they have expnded and renewated. Good for South Indian dishes👍Try "Onion Utthappa", u will love it. Went so many times in so many years and the taste is still same.

I liked the way they clean everything ,the discipline,on time food i.e. once u have ordered u will get ur food within 10 min. Believe me this would be the best food and a place to send money and is totally worth it.Very old restaurant. Menu here is too big.A/c room is available here. Big space good food good staff lot of options to choose for brake fast and lunch or dinner. A/C family room is available. Overall clean place. Ambience is ok.I would suggest dont go for misal here....its not as good as we get in any other places in Solapur.Go for South Indian dishes.

Food is delicious but the service is not good and the workers are rude to the customers and time taking a lot

Veg hot & soure suope is not good. It should be named with cabbage suope. Paneer items very delicious.
