Hotel Jagua in Cienfuegos

Das von der bekannten Hotelkette Meliá gemanagte 4*-Hotel lässt nach den inzwischen vollzogenen Renovierungen lässt einen guten Aufenthalt erwarten.Als Dependance gehört zum Hotel auch die gegenüber liegendehistorische Casa Verde.Schön auch, dass man direkt neben dem Pool in der Bucht schwimmen kann.

Trato excelente por parte del personal, pero es una pena que la comida qué ofrecen tenga tan mala calidad y qué tengas qué pasar 15 minutos frente a un televisor para ver la carta cada vez que vas a pedir algo

While this is not even a 2 star hotel, in reality, this is a luxury for the Cuban nationals. I cannot enjoy anything in that country knowing that Cubans are treated as 3rd class citizens

very nice place for Cuba

Yesterday I felt super badly attended in the green house because I sent him to make two mojitos and never brought them to the table. I dont know how there can be such bad service in such a beautiful place. The clerk is the bartender and does neither job.

Chambre spacieuse et propre avec une vue imprenable sur la mer dun côté et la ville de lautre. Hôtel calme et bien situé.Buffet du petit déjeuner copieux et correct.Les petits bars en face de lhôtel et au bord de la mer sont très sympathiques.

Nice swimming pool and fantastic sea view from room, staff was profesional and friendly, good buffet breakfast.

Superbe hôtel avec de très belles prestations. 2 cartes internet sont offertes par chambre et par jour. Seul petit bémol : limpossibilité de profiter de la piscine sans devoir payer une fois le check out effectué.

Estuvimos 10 días, de manera que tuvimos oportunidad de apreciar la totalidad del servicio y he quedado muy conforme. Los desayunos, muy completos y variados, tanto los buffet como los brindados a la carta. Cenamos en los tres restaurantes y todos fueron muy buenos y bien atendidos. En el italiano de la Casa Verde, comí la mejor pizza de muchos años y pasta con camarón excelente, en una galería rodeada del agua dela bahía. La atención, inmejorable, tanto en cocinas y bares como en la habitación y recepción. Todos son encantadores! Volveremos.

Decent hotel. The prices of drinks and food were too high though. Some problems we found were the cards which barely worked, small amounts of toilet paper and the lunch. (Why cant you order rice/fries separately, when they are served on the side with other dishes?!Also we were told there werent any burgers, only to see them being served to other people 5 minutes later.Weird hotel, with an OK location and pool, but the overall service was disappointing.

Buen hotel. La terraza de la piscina mirando a la bahía es ideal para disfrutar de la puesta de sol tomando una copa. Las habitaciones están bien equipadas. Bastante buen buffet.Por la noche hay actuaciones y música en vivo en la terraza del bar. Muy acogedor. Situado al final de la Punta Gorda, tiene cerca algunos bares y restaurantes de recomendable visita.

Anche se la struttura non é nuovissima a me é piaciuto molto per la bellisima vista che si apprezza da ogni angolo dellhotel. Il personale é molto gentile e i servizi sono di buon livello.

Excellent accommodation, warm welcome at the front desk, staff really nice, room is basic but clean. Pool is fantastic.

Eravamo un gruppo di 9 persone in tour su Cuba e ci siamo fermati una notte in questo hotel, che non é nuovo, ma comunque molto accogliente ed organizzato. Ci sono piaciute molto le colazioni ed il servizio molto cortese del personale. Molto bella anche la piscina. Una buona base per conoscere la cittá.

The sovjet style hotel offer spacious rooms with good beds. In the evening you can sit outside at the bar and have a good mojuito.

Rooms with a splendid view to the town and the bay. Restaurant is ok. Swimming pool. Restrooms not ok.

Nice spot for a couple of days. I was in Cienfuegos with a cuban friend and he sugested me to stay at the Jagua Hotel. Hotel not new but with a lot of charme, room was fine and well cleaned. Wonderful view on the bay of Cienfuegos and amazing pool close to teh sea.

Nice friendly hotel in Cienfuegos. Food is not the best but typical of Cuba, but certainly worth seeing the town. Bit scatterbrained staff at times but that seems to be the laid back Cuban character.

Wonderful location

Let me say that I have visited a lot of places (also in Cuba), for sure youll have to look at Cuba with special goggles, so dont expect too much! The Jagua hotel is a nice hotel for Cuban standards. The facilities and the food are ok. The surrounding hotel grounds were tidy and well maintained and the personnel was very friendly towards all visitors. I can for sure recommend a trip to Cienfuegos.

Senza dubbio lhotel Jagua ha una location fantastica, si trova sul lungomare di Cienfuegos e si gode una ottima vista di tutta il golfo. Camere spartane, ma pulite, ottime le colazioni e bellissima la piscina. Tra laltro a pochi metri si trova il Palacio del Valle, che è uno dei must della città.

The service in this place is nothing but awful. I was born in Cuba currently living in US and was very disappointed to see how the staff discriminated it me and I received a different treatment just because Im cuban. I spent my time mostly outside the hotel with families and friends but my limited time in the facility was not nice at all. I will never get back. Mucho seguroso y chivaton trabajando aqui.

Das Hotellerie hat ein feines Flair. Es ist jedoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Trotzdem waren wir dank der Zimmergröße mit riesigem Bett, Sitzecke und Balkon sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr abwechslungsreich und frisch. Tolle Musikdarbietungen und ein sehr freundlicher Service.

We just stayed ther for one night, but I absolutlly reccomend it. The best pool I have seen in Cuba, close to the sea and with a wonderful view. Room was basic but clean and well manteined. Excellent breakfast.

Una eccellente scelta per conoscere Cienfuegos. L hotel Jagua si trova alla fien del lungomare della cittá a pochi minuti del cintro, la struttura ha qualche hanno, ma é molto accogliente con una splendida vista sulla baia. Camere spaziose e pulite, personale molto gentile ed ottime le colazioni nel ristorante buffet. Da qui abbiamo visitato Trinidad che dista circa un ora di macchina. Ci sono molti ristoranti di buon livello nella zona.

Das hotel ist tatsächlich ein vollwertiges mit perfekten Zimmern (Innenbereich + Bettwäsche), ausgezeichnetem blick und Einrichtungen von hohem Standard.Sehr gute Schallisolierung!Der Pool ist klein.Eine große Auswahl an Gerichten mit guter Qualität wurde mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Es gab Fisch, Fleisch, vegetarische Gerichte, also für jeden was dabei. Wer hier meckert, sollte zu Hause bleibenEssen - absolut OK.

Hotel Jagua offers a beautiful view of the harbor. The room was clean and spacious. My roommate and I struggled to open the door from the outside, each time we had to make several attempts to open it. The pool and surrounding area was closed for renovation. WiFi didnt work in the rooms and in only certain areas in the lobby.

The hotel and the food is nice. But the beds are bad and the hotel is old and needs some renovation.

You better chose a casa particulare. This is not very nice.
