Occupying a stately turret-topped building with an ornate facade, this upscale hotel in Prague's genteel Dejvice district is a 13-minute walk from a metro station and 2.4 km from Prague Castle.Refined rooms offer free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, along with minibars, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Upgraded rooms add access to a private lounge and/or garden views, while suites feature living rooms. Room service is available.Continental breakfast is free. There's an elegant restaurant, a polished lobby bar and a garden, as well as meeting space for up to 1,200 guests.
If you just need a place to sleep and and take a bath, this is a good choice. Its cheap and its a beautiful building. They have luxurious rooms also that looks pretty nice. But as a base of operations for the adventurous type that needs a place to sleep, this is the place. And the food in the restaraunt is actually pretty good too.
Nice big comfortable rooms, with amenities like iron & iron board, tea coffee maker, lockers. V good beds, mattresses, toiletries. Lights & Aircon also very good. Exceptional breakfast & service.
A very nice room. Large clean space. Good connection by metro to the center. The price is not excessive in relation to the quality. I recommend it for a business trip as well as a weekend sightseeing.
Fantastic hotel , absolutely stunning , good staff. Location is easy access to 2 trams. But abit far to walk to old town etc.
Located near station, tram & bus service but far from city centre. From outside it looks that we are entering into a palace, but inside not like that. Its plus point is its AIRCONDITIONED. But you cant open window as its fixed, washroom clean & of enough size but its glass partition for shower is not proper, so you have to be attentive that water doesnt go outside. Upholstery outdated, need to be changed. Breakfast VERY GOOD with a variety, but their juice is, as I felt not juice, but some drink with water. It has a 🏋🚴💪GYM, an open garden attached with dining hall, where you can take breakfast, you can walk... children can play. They give THAI MASSAGE service even. One more thing that their restaurant gives even lunch and dinner which is payable.
5 night stay in a tower suite, accommodation and facilities were comfortable and of a high standard.Breakfast gave lots of choice and delicious food to set us up for the day.Trams are only a few minutes from the door and the PID Litacka App makes it easy to plan and pay for journeys. We ate in the restaurant on an evening, meals were excellent, great value and very tasty, particularly the Czech traditional cuisine.Friendly reception staff were always on hand to help ans advise.Prague Airport Taxi transfer to and from the airport were perfect.
Best hotel in town . Everything was just perfect . Josef one of a kind !!!! Perfect Service. Breakfast buffet was awesome. See you all soon again! Best regards
The food offered in the breakfast buffet was scarce, and there wasnt any healthy food whatsoever. Moreover, room service was non-existent, our sign stated that we wanted our room to be cleaned, however, they only came the last day at 8:00am when we were still sleeping and of course, we did not want room service at that hour.Nevertheless, the staff was really nice and polite.
The room was not what was expected from the pictures. We booked one month in advance double room with twin bed and we received a room with two single beds. The explanation was that is not available. The room was not much clean. Nobody clean it even in the next days, thankfully at least the trash was taken away..Old hotel, good view over the city, but only if you are at least on the 6 floor and on. Parking is available. The breakfast was fabulous. Tram stop for the city centre of the Old Town is very close to the hotel.
Pros:- Although is not greatly placed, its connected perfectly through the tram lines 8 and 18, which are everything you need to get to the tourist areas (You can buy daily travel tickets inside the trams themselves with a credit card).- The building is built in a unique soviet architecture style which provides a unique experience.- The breakfast buffet offers everything you need to start your day and even skip lunch.Cons:- We booked a 2-person room with a joint bed and got 2 single beds.- The shower wasnt properly working, and most of the water came through the faucet.- Most of the room areas and halls display old, worn-out carpet which could do with a rehaul.Overall:Great experience. We didnt bother complaining about the room as it was okay for the money we paid for.
It was my first visit to Prague and will not be my last. The hotel is well placed on the outskirts so quieter than the centre in the evening but only a short tram ride away to all the major sights. The hotel itself is beautiful. The economy room is basic but comfortable and extremely good value for the price. We did have to move rooms (not the hotels faultand we were upgraded to a superior room, these rooms have been refurbished to an extremely high standard so would be well worth the extra cost. We were staying on a half board business, breakfasts were amazing and set us up for the day. The evening meals were also very tasty. Next time though I would only stay B & B just to allow for flexibility. All staff were helpful and friendly but a particular thank you to Jiri, Teresa and Petr in the restaurant. Despite being busy they were always efficient and extremely helpful when faced with someone who has allergies so made a set evening meal a challenge offering an alternative. Would certainly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Clean and comfortable..helpful staff, we arrived before our room was ready, due to an early morning flight, but we were allowed to store our luggage and come back to check in later. We had a late flight home , so were able to store the bags after check out.Breakfast was great! The garden is peaceful and a lovely place to sit and have a meal or drink. We booked a trip with Josef which was well worth the money as it included lunch and a boat trip with a very informative english speaking guide.Although there was a kettle in the room, there were no tea bags/coffee or milk. All in all great for a weekend stay, close to trams and buses to get about.Quick tip.. if you.plan on using trams/buses/metro..we bought a 3 day ticket ( approx £12 eachwhich gives you unlimited travel, just make sure you validate it 1st
The hotel it is very clean. The breakfast is continental a lot of good dishes. The guest manager Joseph it is very nice person and friendly. Thank you very much for everything. This hotel is beautiful we feel very good. Highly recommend this hotel.
In a small room with two beds, air conditioner, ironing board, safe, fridge, wardrobe, TV, two EU wall sockets, master electricity switch beside the beds, a table and chair, hair dryer, pull-out clothesline, several towels in the bathroom with a shower and bathtub. A diverse breakfast included. A constant humming of traffic if the room window is on the East side.
Our experience was amazing. We were in hotel for 5 days and everything was great from staff at the reception to the cleaning lady. We booked Superior Business Room with included breakfast and it was exactly as in the photos, clean and large enoug, with air condition and also with coffe and tea maker. What more do you need. Breakfast was rich every morning, and we could eat outside at terrace which is also a plus.So all in all great hotel, with interesting history and if you want to experience a bit of past times and arhitecture I warmly reccomend.Really do not understand some bad reviews, becouse you really get great value for money. 😀
The staff could not be any more helpful. Josef has been amazing. We lost a day due to easyjet and he helped us make the most of the time we have here and the food at the hotel is amazing. The duck is to die for!
Just 15 min away from the city center with public transportation. The station is 50 m from the hotel. Rooms are ok, breakfast was very good. Would definitely come back again.
Genuinely 5 star review. Hotel is beautiful, staff are fantastic, food is incredible. Josef is an amazing host, so passionate and knowledgeable and this filters down to his staff. Highly recommend a stay.
It looks fancy and I guess it was in the 80s (!?). But once you are in the room it is not even a 1 star hotel. Very old furniture(still ok), no charger close to bed, super tiny pillows, super old TV and there is a kettle but no tea no sugar no nothing, you would expect way much more hospitality in a 4 stars hotel... My 3 stars are only for the friendly helpful staff and the excellent diverse breakfast. For the paid money, I guess you can find more comfortable rooms but probably with a simpler breakfast.
The place is very climatic if you like 50s style of communist era high end hotel. The rooms are renovated to modern standard nicely. The breakfasts were very tasty. Service was ok. The cleanness could be little improved but nothing too bad.
