We stayed in the hotel for two nights and it was perfect. A strangely quiet hotel close to most of Luzern/Lucerne, with a beautifully preserved exterior and full modern interior. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is served in a quiet section of the fabulous restaurant downstairs. Enjoy the little hot chocolate!

Nice family hotel that cares about your stay

While I did not stay at the hotel, the restaurant is excellent. Interesting, creative menu, I went for the beef, mushrooms and noodles with truffle foam - tender, flavorful and rich. Note - if youre not used to the saltiness of some Swiss food you might want to ask for less salt however it was perfect for me.

A really lovely hotel with wonderful service! The decor is nice, the beds are so comfortable, and they’ve thought of so many nice little details. The breakfast is also very good. I absolutely recommend it and would love to return someday!

Absolutely a lovely hotel. Conveniently located to all the attractions. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean. The restaurant was very delicious, one of the best meals Ive had in a long time. Only drawback was no air conditioning in the room, just a fan. I would stay here again.

My favourite in Luzern. Rather small rooms, but nice Swiss climate. Very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast more than great!

Did not stay but did really enjoy the food. Great atmosphere especially with outside seating. The food was excellent not only did it look really nice like you didnt want to cut into the food because it looks so nice but tasted great too. To top that off service was top notch and oh by the way, the restrooms were really clean too.

Verry nice hotel, good located and with verry nice staff. They serve a good breakfast and also their restaurant is serving good Swiss dishes.

This hotel gives you what you need.Good price, clean, great location, rich breakfast, very nice staff.I have received a free transportation pass during my stay which helped me explore more locations.One thing to put in mind that the hotel is an antique design, room space is limited but for the great benefits you get compared to the price, you can simply ignore it.

Great staff, nice buffet breakfast and superb evening meal. Good room overlooking exterior restaurant area even had a mini kitchen with a nespresso coffee machine, hotplate and a small table & chairs.

Food is really good. All dishes were tasty, but service is horrible! Staff forgot about some drinks and food we ordered and was unfriendly!

Concerning the restaurant: nice, cozy restaurant in an old typical swiss house. very friendly and professional staff. We had a seasonal dessert and a good tea, prices rather high.

Nice, clean room. Everything is prefect except no on-site laundry room and slow reception response time. There are always no one at the reception and take several minutes to get someone from the restaurant to come back to the reception.

Excellent food and service. Waiters were prompt and attentive and made great suggestions, including a separate gluten free menu for my wife. Perhaps a little pricey, but based on the rest of Lucerne / Zurich, it seems about right.

The (organicveal shank was excellent and the waitresses responded quickly and efficiently, even though this is a slower kind of place with many overnight tourists not in a hurry to get anywhere on a gray Sunday.The kitchen is open, and the espresso coffee machine stands along one wall. I find the latter unfortunate, because it makes quite a racket.
