Hotel Henri in Berlin

Stayed there for the Berlin marathon. Staff was super nice, the room was comfortable and quiet. I’ll come back if I run this thing again! Thanks a lot!

Very comfortable very homey

The style of the hotel is charming—early 1900s decor, Mucha prints on the walls, staff in period dress (all of whom were kind).Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated and had tall ceilings and large windows. The bathroom was small but clean and aesthetically pleasing with black and white tile. The hotel provides soap and a body wash/shampoo combination but no conditioner or lotion. This was not an issue but something that may be useful for others to know.We opted for the quick breakfast add on which was croissants and coffee or tea. They also have a full breakfast buffet with cereal, eggs, toast, and spreads. Simple but it looked like good quality.The hotel also has an honor bar in the lobby with beer and wine (as well as an actual small bar with a few cocktails). The prices for the drinks from the lobby fridge are reasonably priced which is rare and much appreciated.Our one big issue with the hotel and which will likely make us choose a different hotel the next time we are in Berlin, is the hotel WiFi. While the hotel does have free WiFi, the signal is often weak, and drops out frequently, and is not always strong enough to stream videos or music without interruption. Room location might affect this, but our room definitely had an issue as did the lobby in the morning.If you do not need to use the internet much during your stay, then Henri Hotel is a great choice. It’s at a great price point for the quality of room and service. If you are a heavy internet user, you may want to stay somewhere else or call to see if there are rooms with better reception.

Hotel historical and nicely preserved with old charm. Restaurants nearby are all good! Decent choice for foodies.

My best hotel in Berlin. Have been in Berlin every year lately and always stayed at this hotel. Well located in the center, near the famous Kurfustdendamm. Impecable service, very good breakfast; especially attractive by its unique style of an authentic Art Nouveau decor. For whoever appreciates style and history.

Very fine hotel with delightful helpful staff. The street has another life in the evening with dining, but we found it restful ending our evening with a glass of wine sitting outside and watching the world go by.

Good hotel very well located if you need to be in the west of Berlin. The rooms are big and modern. I was nevertheless disturbed by a recurring sound from the coffee machine during the night.

Great hotel located within minutes of the zoo and Tiergarten. Beautiful old building, friendly staff and great breakfast.

Not your usual hotel. The old type French music playing at the reception and sitting area was a little annoying. Breakfast was nice and comfortable beds. I had room 310 . It would be impossible to have a smaller bathroom.

My third visit to this hotel, but my first after the renovation. They really created a good atmosphere in the hotel. Especially the new layout of where the breakfast was served is really good! The rooms have had a touch of fresh paint and overall this is a very nice hotel in a not so crowded neighborhood with plenty good restaurants nearby and public transport right around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay again.

The room and service was excellent. A really nice old-style hotel that has been nicely restored. The only downsides were the location and the price of the breakfast buffet.

Charming hotel with larger than average rooms. Very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was renovated; still had that new paint smell. Perfect for business or leisure.

A very charming hotel in Central Berlin. Rooms are fresh and clean. High service and integrity. Breakfast is of very good standard. Small bar I loung with only basics, but ok. Parking close by if you have an ordinary car. Mini buss parking is more difficult.Sunway within short walking distance.Spent time there more than once. Recommended!! :)

Fancy hipster hotel in Berlin! Careful, not all rooms are renovated just yet!

It used to be a great place, but they changed the concept recently, but I havent been there since then.

Difficult to find the place in the first time, especially when you dont have data connection. But when you already familar, youll love the location. Its in the center! Old nice architecture building, clean and friendly staffs

Nice hotel - comfortable and quiet but close to the Main Street. Friendly staff

The Residenz is a boutique hotel of charm just off Kurfurstendam near to Zoo Garten. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room I usually stay in is comfortable and welcoming and, apart from noisy parties of other guests, quiet. Other guests do not seem to understand that Please do not Disturb notices on doors applies to them as much as to the staff, but this is the same everywhere. I cannot comment on breakfasts because I never eat breakfast as I always eat late the night before. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. I have returned many times for many years and it is my hotel of choice in Berlin.

The bad thing was the reception. Some days ahead I wrote to ask where should I get out from the Ubahn and they wrote back Zoological Garden which was wrong considering that the nearest is Kurfursterdamm. When I arrived the staff at the reception did not even apologize for the mistake and they told me that who had answered me, probably did not know Berlin well. I asked them some other directions and they did not know it.It is a pity because the Hotel is very nice and pleasant.

There was some rebuilding at the next house at Meinekestrasse, so the mornings were noisy and woke up us too early.The workers at the reception were maybe too young.The jazz concert at wednesday night at the hotel was marvelous, thank you!

Nice and clean hotel. Lovely room. In a quiet sidestreet of Kurfurstendamm and near subway-stations. Very nice breakfast. Ideal for discovering Berlin.
