Hotel Granada Center in Granada
Description
The hotel lacks basic facilities. No complementary drinking water in the room. No tea/coffee, cups, kettle, etc in the room. Guests have to go down to the restaurant to get cups. No complaints about the room.
MoreClean rooms and courteous staff at reception. However very disappointed with a few things. They do not provide complementary water in the room. Guests are expected to pay for drinking water. Also, no coffee machine/ kettle, tea or coffee in room. These are very basic facilities that every hotel around the world should have!
MoreThey do not have water. You have to pay for it. Not one complimentary water at all.I write this as I’m in the hotel room. Let’s just start with we immediately had to ask for clean sheets because of the hair in the bed. Maybe someone was in it and then they had the wrong room and moved them, and no one came to make sure it was refreshed? They brought someone in and as she was putting down the sheets I wanted to help her as I felt bad to ask for her to change them and she put down a set and a huge stain on it, so she had to get new sheets, and then again…. Dirty sheetsThe front desk person was probably the meanest person I’ve ever met and it made me never want to come to Granada again. The customer service is really important, especially at the front desk and when someone could literally be so rude, it ruins your day and your trip.I wish I had something good to say, but sadly I don’t. I saw many beautiful hotels and ended up eating at a different hotel and everyone was so kind. I e wanted to leave this hotel and stay somewhere else because it would probably be better. I would recommend searching for a hotel closer to the cathedral. It seems more lively than the area this hotel is in.
MoreAmazing hotel! Staff was nice and polite. Breakfast is great and rooms are amazing spacious and clean.
MoreVery nice modern hotel, close to center.
The parking garage is really tight and the entrance is also the exit and its barely wide enough that small cars can maneuver without scraping side mirrors. Theres another parking garage not too far to walk, but the hotels parking garage does have elevator access straight to the room floors. With that downside addressed, everything else was great. The place is beautiful, including the rooms. And the rooms have wonderful views. The price is amazing, it was the least expensive hotel in which I stayed on my European road trip. The value for the price was far better than I could have asked. The air conditioning worked very well compared to several other hotels in which I stayed. The food from the restaurant in the hotel was very good, and room service was helpful. If I find myself in Granada again I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
MoreNext time wenn I am in Granada, I will book again here.
Great stay! Everything was in very good condition and clean. We had a beautiful room with a view to a park and city landscape. Perfect soundproofing, extraordinary service. Great breakfast, definitely worth the price and much above the average. The WiFi connection was very good and we didn’t had any problem to do our work there. We visited couple hotels during our travel and this one was the best. We will definitely try to book our stay here once again in the future just to explore Granda a bit better.Perfect perfect perfect!
MoreBeautiful hotel in a great location in Granada. The rooms are great, good food, and most importantly, outstanding customer service. The girls from the front desk are not only very knowledgeable, but also very respectful and courteous. Very recommended place for a great stay. Thank you Hotel Granada Center.
MoreExcellent hotel with underground parking...
I really enjoy my staying at the Hotel Granada Center. It’s very clean and comfortable, with artistic design and elegant decor. The breakfast buffet has a big variety and delicious. Every staff we meet is friendly. I strongly recommend this hotel.
MoreAfter the renovation the hotel is even more beautiful than before. The rooms are elegant and nicely furnished, the staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel restaurant offers a good selection of delicious dishes (in 10 days I tried about a half of them). The breakfast is superb.
MoreGreat hotel, staff, facilities. Extra large and comfy bed
Simply the best city break hotel I have ever stayed in.Spotlessly clean, very modern looking interior. Room was amazing with everything you could want or needOnly minor issue is carpark is tight to manoeuvre around but thats more of a heads up rather than a gripe.Staff were fantastic, breakfast buffet amazing, great location with centre of Granada being a 10 to 15 minute walkCant recommend this hotel highly enough.
Moreimpeccably clean. wonderful comfortable room kind helpful and very professional staff. a really good value all of these features make up for the fact that it is a 15 minute walk downtown
MoreVery good customer service room are big restaurants is ok not great
AC programmed for savings earned me 3 sleepless nights. No amount of conveniences can compensate for that.
MoreA very nice hotel with a good location. The rooms are very nice and modern. The breakfast buffet is also great, lots of choice and good quality. The staff is also very accommodating and friendly. What is unfortunately very bad is the parking. I was glad to have arrived with my small car, with my big SUV I definitely would not have come down. Otherwise really recommendable.
MoreBreakfast is terrible! Definitely not worth the price! Cold eggs, cold tortilla (frozen).. the ventilation system located in the breakfast room just on the top of the bread toaster was terribly dirty ( dust balls hanging)..I met a very nice lady at the reception the first day, but other staff just did not listen and were even rude.. i travel weakly, I saw many good and not so good hotels. I never wrote a complaint. But this hotel is not a 4 stars hotel
MoreLess than what you would expect for a 4* hotel. The breakfast was mediocre and the rooms were dusty and not so well renovated. The gym area is a joke.
MoreGood location, paid underground parking (~20€/day), got an upgrade to a suite which was amazing! The hotel itself is pretty fancy, nice glass elevators and impressive architecture! The room was huge (well yeah, it was a suite), with a big terrace and a nice view! Very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly! I would definitely recommend this place!
MoreLovely room and hotel which is situated just outside the centre and as a consequence is very convenient. Only 4 stars as the gym is barely functional with the only reliable kit being the cross trainer. Hardly qualifies as a fitness room, much less a gym.
MoreOur safe did not have a door on it, and the hotel AC was off to the entire building, even though our room was extremely warm. We called the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do. Do not stay here.
MoreReally great hotel very close to tram and within walking distance of the main spots of the city. Had a brilliant view from the terrace as you can see from my photo!
MoreWe where very pleased on our stay here for 3 nights. A modern hotel. Nice design. Convenient and functional. Great breakfast if you want to pay. A small gym room and parking in the basement. Nice helpful staff. You walk to the center in 10 minutes. Café and supermarket around the corner. Alhambra is 25 minutes walk away. Silent in our room but the walls are not thick. Good beds.
MoreVery nice hotel. Excellent location. You can walk anywhere from here. We even walked from Alhambra through albaicin and to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast buffet is good as well. Rooms are super clean and beds very comfortable. Hotel has its own parking which is always a plus. Their room keys for some reason keeps getting deactivated often when you put them in the wallet and you have to go and reactivate at the reception. Reactivation is done right away as staff is super efficient and very customer service oriented. It is just that you go to seventh floor and cant get inside the room and have to come back down. It happened every day of our stay. So why five star then?Rooms are clean. Location is good. Staff amazing. If I would have stayed longer, I would have kept the room key away from my credit cards and problem would be solved.Anyhow, absolutely amazing hotel at good location and excellent service.Just book this hotel guys. You will be super happy.Thank you hotel Granada for your amazing hospitality.
MoreFabulous reception area, very modern with a wow factor. The bedrooms and bathroom however need some TLC very dated and tired looking. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Cafe in lobby area. Perfectly located for sightseeing. Local car park with secure overnight parking 18€ for 12 hours within a short work.
MoreThe hotel itself is a bit older, the rooms are big (air-conditioning, comfy beds, mini bar, shampoo, shaver, toot brush etc.), gym room with new equipment, comprehensive breakfast, good value for money (compared to Austrian standards- but the best are the really friendly staff! Especially at the reception and in the reservation center! Thank you!
MoreSecond stay here prior go a return flight home. Nice hotel very conveniently situated near the railway station and walking distance to some good eateries. Taxi to the airport was around €25
MoreStaff were friendly and efficient, printing tickets for us and leaving them in a pigeon hole for us to collect. Brought us a welcome snack, which was a nice touch. Location is great, breakfast is plentiful and varied. The parking is a little expensive, but its so scarce in granada centre that its easy enough to understand.
MoreLovely hotel and accommodation. Friendly and helpful Staff. Only complaint would be no complimentary coffee, tea etc was provided.
MoreI have travelled through Spain enjoying a vacation and thishotel was the most expensive and the most disappointing. We opened the shower window and it was filthy and there was damp in our bedroom. In addition paint was peeling off the walls and everything was tatty. In addition we paid for parking and the attendant who moved the car had been playing with the controls and managed to raise the spoiler on the boot, which was not as we had left it. We do not expect this when moving a car. The breakfast was expensive so we went to a local coffee shop
MoreVery good hotel with all the amenities that a traveler would need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is awesome with everything you might want. I will stay here on my next trip and recommend it to friends.
MoreBooked through Expedia as part of a half board package.Arrived just before 11pm due to a flight delay but not a problem as very welcoming receptionist called through to the kitchen to ensure it stayed open to cook our meal.Overall hotel is immaculately clean with generous, sized rooms, attentive staff and an extensive breakfast buffet. Most striking feature is the central atrium extending through all floors enclosed by all rooms arranged off triangular galleries and glazed lifts on one side.
MoreThis hotel was the best one among the four hotels we booked. All hotels have the same problem the close the air-conditioning system after 11pm. The hotel has a parking and close to affordable price restaurants.
MoreRooms are good, breakfast is great. Alhambra is within walking distance. The parking is expensive (16€ dayand small, a medium sized car will have trouble parking.
MoreRoom fine. Restaurant experience not made to feel welcome if not having 3 courses in the evening. We were shown to bar stools right next to where the waiters slam dirty dishes for dishwasher loading. Ugh. Noisy. We had drinks and a snack but still spent €22. At this moment there is a private function going on in the central open area. Extremely noisy - like an echo chamber ! It is 21 40. Not great.
MoreVery nice hotel with nice and helpful staff. Close to the center with good views and very rich breakfast buffet. The room we stayed in is spacious and comfortable.
MoreOnly stayed one night, but the beds were comfortable, shower was fine. It was just a little noisy at night, but thats to be expected in the city. Wasnt sure how to operate the thermostat. Kind of pushed buttons and then gave up. Interior is very impressive, and its an easy walk to the city center.
MoreNot in a best location, car park was full and we had to use city lot 3 blocks away. No door or bellmen to carry luggage up two flights of stairs to reach the elevator. Hotel appears to be generally understaffed. People working There were nice and were trying there best.
MoreThe people working in the hotel is very nice, the rooms are big, equiped with a TV, a minibar and a save. The bathroom comes with some goodies and its pretty clean. The main hall its really beautiful, with a big roof and a lot of vegetation.
MoreLarge well equipped modern hotel. Reasonably priced. Rooms have balconies. Fairly close to centre. Lovely reception area. Helpful staff, clean and comfortable.
MorePaper thin walls, tired looking interior. The rooms arent that bad but they show their age. You need earplugs to sleep as you hear every word and every noise made in the rooms around you. There are some free parking spaces spread on the side streets around the hotel. Look for these before committing to €15 a day at the hotel park. The breakfast is not good (definitely not 4-star).
MoreThe Hotel Granada Center is now called Hoteles Center. It must now be part of a chain of hotels in Spain. The hotel is clean, the breakfast was good, and the rooms are decent size. I arrived to Granada by bus, and the hotel was 1km from the bus stop, so I walked. I walked to the Alhambra from the hotel and it was about 30 minutes. The hotel is outside the city center and the tourist attractions, but I was ok with it. This hotel was a great value for the price. I would stay there again. A taxi from the hotel to the airport was about 25 euros.
MoreMy visit was in order to prepare a future event at the hotel. The manager showed us the hotel and told us about the different possibilities. We were very pleased, very well treated, and looking forward to return.
MoreNice spacious rooms, located right across from the university. Great breakfast. Only complaint: wireless internet is rather weak, even on just the 3rd floor. Seems OK in the lobby.
MoreNicely located. Rooms are bit worn. Bathroom in my room needed some restoration. Breakfasts are good. Pity that they are served in the basement instead of front restaurant.Wi-Fi coverage good, unfortunately slow for nowadays standards. Anyway, enjoyed my stay at Granada Center
MoreGood location and priced decently. The hotel looks more like a 3 star instead of a 4 star. The main lobby is nice but the rooms are in need of a full renovation. First the rooms safe does not work. Second the bathroom has mold in the shower and around the window. The walls and doors are scratched and the paint is peeling off in maby places. The rooms are quite large. The only reason this gets a 3 star rating from me is beause of location, super nice employees and decent price. But would not stay here again unless Im on a strict budget.
MoreThe glory days when this must have been thé design place to be are long gone. And its almost hip again, but not quite. Its way too stiff for that. However, having said that, the rooms really are quite large, very comfortable and the bed is absolutely massive. Good location too!
MoreThe locaction is near perfect, at five minutes of walking you arrive to all the shops but if you want to go to the alhambra, you have to walk a little more but nothing too exhausting. The rooms are big and comfy, it have all the furnitures you may need. The bathrooms are big too with a bunch of courtesy items.
