Hotel Gavraan in Kalyan

Very bad service no proper management. Order taken something and delivered something. Of no efficiency please dont make customers fool.

Visited today and had the worst experience. The restaurant is famous for thalis and they didnt had one. Nor they had their tandoori section open. The plates and the glasses were very much dirty and even the onion and the lemon which they served wasnt fresh. Slow service. Worst experience. Wouldnt recommend anyone.

Food is always nice service quality can be improved.

They call chicken pulav - "DUM BIRYANI"Imagine you order 1.25 kg DUM BIRYANI and you receive1Biryani without Barista2if its basmati then broken grain3neither layered nor separate chicken and rice layer BUT tossed.4the chef NEVER knows that spices of biryani are different than chicken gravy5not little but complete rice multicolored (restaurant now a days avoid artificial food colour)Pros:1delivered said quantity2reasonably priced

When in mood to eat non veg Thali this is the place to be. Have eaten so many times. Delicious food, staff is also great.

1st thing it takes 45 mins to come the order , staff is literally illiterate , there was hair in my food for twice , not at all good food or place. Worst part is cashier is also in kitchen and there was no one on billing counter. No management at all.

Too Expensive for the Food Quality in Non-Veg section they served.

Its an average hotel. Riding on hype of Desi taste. Average taste. Many times they serve stale chicken and mutton dishes. Overrated for sure. Not great, an average experience

Not so good experience for food...................Old review -The food here is super delicious 😋One of the Best Non-Veg Place in Town 😍Reducing one star because many of times I waited almost 45 minutes to get my order served and once the waiter took the order & when I asked another person why my food has not be served after 30-40 minutes, He replied there is no order in the kitchen for your table. 😂I think that person was the owner and he promised to deliver food to my table in 10 minutes but we waited almost an hour for it.

Good Kolhapuri Thali with real taste of kolhapur.

Reasonable .. not a big one bt good for those who wish to taste typical kolhapuri nonveg... Loved the taste. We had paya soup 180rs and mutton masala thali 380rs.

Had very bad experience ....everything was served late ..even the rotis and the chicken was uncooked .Would not recommend this place ever ...

Poor food... With so much oil.... There was an inch of oil floating on my curry. And the service took forever to serve the food. I went there with a lot of expectation. I came away disappointed.

Good place to taste Maharashtrian chicken n fish food. Simply delicious. This is like first time i have visited this and it was nice experience. I ordered Bombil fry, prawns masala, bhakri and indrayani rice. I must say all items were tasty specially Bombil fry.. nice. Next time I am going to try something from chicken and then again update my review..Ambience is not great but good, limited tables, but with all capacities. Service is also good.Overall.. perfect gavran style option in Kalyan. In Kalyan we have less options in Maharashtrian food, and this one is good.

Fantastic fantastic place for non-veg lovers with mouth watering menu on offer. Good ambience, reasonable rate, more than good portion size and fantastic taste on offer.Only negative is it takes long time for food to arrive. Maybe because its freshly cooked everytime but something can be worked out for sure!

Speciality for Maharashtrian Kolhapuri food. Chicken, Mutton and Fish thalis are available. One of rarest restaurant with thali option in Kalyan.We tried Mutton and chicken thali. Overall good taste, but could have been better. Quantity is good.

My experience is not bad, here thali is limited, & they are giving only one small bhakari or 2 chapati in one thali & half rice no and if u want extraa then charges applicable , i dont like this thing ,........one more thing koshimbir is not serve in any thali.

They serve Kolhapur style chicken, mutton and fish thali.Solkadhi was tasty. All the fish we had were fresh and delicious.Friendly staff and quick service. They have opened a new restaurant near gandhari bridge which is quite a big place compared to the old one.

Today I just entered in gavraan and ordered mottan thali,motton kolhapuri,chicken hundi, and another prowns fry,along with prowns thali they serve all completely dishes.but suddenly I saw in google in menu they dont provide as the what comes in thali (jawla chutney in prowns thali...let it be but please make sure next tym either we visit please give us full fill menu..because hunger person cant take eye wt u have given in that thali..I missed my jawla chutney 😔

Good for kolhapuri Special dishes. Rate little bit higher than other restaurants. Go for chiken handi : quality n quantity both you will get in this dish.

Taste - Awsome . We had mutton thali ,prawns thali and pompret tawa fry all 3 were good.No compromise on quantity.Quality is good and didnt find any hygiene issue.And every thing was yummy.Price is bit high.mainly i found the cost different from what is there in menu.for eg in menu pompret fry is 350 but i had to pay 420 or 450 i guess.The negative part for which i removed 1 star is regarding the wait time,there were only 2 people other than us in hotel as customer but literly we had to wait 30 min and above.Other than that all good, staffs and owner all good.had good customer experience

My first experience was very good. No doubt taste was amazing but my 2nd experience is not at all good. Paya soup is not properly cooked, even chicken gravy and mutton Angara was so spicy we could not able to eat food. And solkadhi is too spicy every time.

Taste wise its a homely taste for the dish you order at this place . Quantity wise its good for two people to eat a single dish you order. Service is fast . Staff is polite in approach. Rates are reasonable. Food quality is good as they have fresh dishesh made for morning and evening separately. Ambience is good for family and friends as well as couples visiting this place.

After the renovation, the place is awesome, friendly and quick staff, ambience is just amazing, family friendly, good music and to top it all amazing food just dounds it all up.10/10 for this restaurant.

Best food and Thali dishes in Town.... My dad and mom never choose different hotel or new hotels for food tasting. But this time I convinced them to go for this options. And they really love the food ambiance as well. Food really have authentic taste and good in quantity and quality. I really prefer this place. ❤️❤️❤️

Fish thali is must try, but the service needs to be improved as it get quite crowded on weekends specially on Sunday. The waiting time is too much and people arent attentive. At least they should start some coupon system. We understand the place is constraint but if you are getting demand just make sure you do the arrangements. We returned back that day as people werent attentive to customers walking in and waiting for their turn to come. Also if food service can be made faster.

Small & cozy place. The interiors designed is inclined towards authentic Indian culture. Its not a fancy or a fine dine restaurant.If your taste buds tingles for Indian non veg cuisine then this is the place. They provide Chicken & mutton Thali which is sufficient for a adult & priced reasonably.Only drawback that I found was that they take a lot of time to serve, even when its not a peak hour.
