Hotel Europe in Zima

On my first night the hotel’s restaurant turned into a proper nightclub (seemed to be a special event for some companiesthat played loud upbeat & base-heavy music, which resonated through the walls from the 1st floor (i.e. ground floorall the way up to my room on the 5th floor (i.e. top floor). I don’t expect the staff will go out of their way to tell the DJ to turn down the music. However, upon complaining the staff gave me earplugs - which was a nice gesture, but the loud music shouldn’t have been the case!My room (a single roomis fairly small but not claustrophobic, dated but fairly well-maintained. Reception staff (which changes everydayspeak good English, but you’d better have a Google Translate / Yandex Translate to hand, just in case. Good location though.Breakfast on my first and second days were not buffet as advertised (benefit of the doubt - my visit was in December. Probably a low season, hence, buffet wouldnt be cost-effective). The staff just took order instead. The last day was buffet (probably more guests that day?which was much better.

Best hotel of our trip so far. Nice, spacious room, friendly, the restaurant is good, on a walking distance from the very lively markets in the town center

The rooms were good and clean. The shower was not the best and the decor in the rooms was very old, but I really liked this hotel. The breakfast was great.

Although not in the most central location, the hotel provides good clean accomodation with slightly outdated but otherwise OK rooms. The front desk and porter where both very friendly, attentative and helpful. Although the breakfast buffet was not extensive it was OK.
