The hotel is stunning and historical, a great location to be in. However, we have been traveling for a while and want to take advantage of the laundry room. It requires a lot of quarters, multiple dollars worth, and we were told to exchange money at the front desk. It has been over 2 hours of false promises to get quarters. If you dont need quarters, no big deal, but I am also unimpressed with the attention to detail. We arrived to an empty shampoo bottle, a lot of womens hair stuck to the wall of the shower, no working wifi/TV, dust in multiple places around the room, and the pillows are worthlessly flat. For the price we paid and as the last stop on our honeymoon, I expected a buttoned up experience. Positives - The pool area and various places to sit are lovely. The staff is friendly and and the room is quiet.

Rooms were quite small. The hotel is not very well kept and undergoing some construction. The air conditioning did not work properly, the room was freaking hot. The pool was very small and the jacuzzi had mold in it, it seems it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Would not recommend nor stay there again. Only stayed there because of a wedding.

This was an older hotel that was renovated in Old San Juan. Actually it was renovated into a hotel. We ate here during our Sunset Food & Drink Tour. Its a very nice hotel if you want to stay in Old San Juan Area. Its bright yellow so you cant miss it. Its also a very popular place to visit and stay. Apparently some old stories are attached to the building.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This website will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you choose this place you wont regret it.Your staff is incredible!! The food was phenomenal, your rooms were very nice! I did not stay here but our friends had about 3 rooms there and I got to experience their experience and I would love to stay at this hotel on our next visit to PR!! I added a picture of the view from the 5th floor and the view of your cafe/lounge area...

Location is a little difficult to reach because of the hills and very narrow roads. The hotel is amazing, beautiful, and next to a Church where many wedding take place. The service was also amazing, i was working out if the bar area and the fans were not working, they sent someone over to fix it ! It definitely took some time but Im grateful they were willing to fix it just by asking if the fans could be turned in to avoid the mosquito from eating me alive.Overall would definitely visit again in the future!

Definitely not a 4star hotel. Very dated. Furniture looked dirty. Ceiling leak in front of the office. My 1st thought was the Champlain Tower that collapsed in Florida due to their swimming pool & structure issues. This hotel has their pool on the 4th floor & looks nothing like the photo on their website- its "very" small. The Queen Vista was the room I chose but the room did not match the photo on their website. I took pictures of my room -# 511. It was missing the comforter & the area rug at the foot of the bed that are advertised for that room on their website & the walls were blue instead of the cream color as advertised. I asked to speak with the main manager, was told he was not available for a few days. I spoke with a girl who said she was a "manager". She was dismissive & rude. I asked her to have the main manager call me. He never did & thats why Im here.Theyre supposed to provide 4 bottles of water for your room each day. I only had 3 or 4 the 1st day. They never replenished it & had to call them couple of times to bring me a few bottles. Other hotels that charge what they charge usually will provide free breakfast, not this place. My 1st time staying at this hotel & itll be the last. Not worth the money. There are other hotels in this area to choose from. Gave it a 2star for location but dont even think of getting a rental-nowhere to park.

This was my first time in Puerto Rico, so I was very excited to stay here to celebrate my birthday. The hotel exterior is beautiful and a great location in Old San Juan. Very walkable to many places. The rooms were spacious, but very dated. The pool is smaller than the website displays and the hot tub is lukewarm. The customer service at this hotel needs a lot of improvement especially for the price they are charging. We would have to call for towels everyday and it would take hours for the towels to be brought up to our rooms. There were no microwaves in the rooms or on the floors, so the front desk told us to go to the first floor restaurant to have them warm up the food. I had to do this two nights in a row and it was a different bartender each day and they both had an attitude to have to do it. The second night, the bartender warmed it up, it was still cold. So, my boyfriend asked him to warm it up again. The bartender said they are only allowed to warm it up for two minutes. My boyfriend asked if he could just warm it up again to make sure it was hot. The bartender decided to be funny and burnt our food, which happened to be purchased from the hotel earlier that day. The styrofoam was literally melted all over the food. I was livid! Also, my boyfriend had a cold while he was staying at the hotel, so I asked the front desk for tea. They told me to ask the restaurant. I went to both restaurants in the hotel and they all said they don’t have hot water in the building to make tea. How is this even possible? They literally had coffee setup everyday on each floor.I definitely don’t think this hotel deserves a 4-star rating. They need to lower the prices to match their terrible customer service.

The front desk staff were very friendly, and the place was a landmark worth seeing, but management and facilities were egregious. We paid for a suite, and the rooftop pool above the room was literally leaking into the room. We had to notify the front desk twice before an engineer came to see it. We were then told by the front desk that we needed to switch rooms, and that we would not be charged for the room. However, when it came time for checkout, the person at the front desk had changed, and told us they would have to look into it. They said they would call back within a couple of hours. By the evening, they still had not called back, so when I called the hotel myself it was again somebody different, and they said that the manager could offer 50% off of the rate rather than the waiver we were promised. The manager never offered to speak with us.Our group also had a second room. There was no housekeeping until the last day of checkout when they came early and made the bed even though we were checking out that day. As others have reported on here, the floors were dusty and I had to clean my feet before getting into bed. Other than the leak from the rooftop pool into our suite, there were leaks throughout the entire building with "Caution Wet Floor" signs everywhere. We were traveling with my 75-year-old mother and this was clearly a hazard. I understand the staff are trying their hardest but the owners and management need to do better.

Charming hotel. Excellent location in Old Town. Lots of dust everywhere including our room floor; dated. Concierge promised to make for us reservation for dinner in nearby located restaurant- she never did- we ended up frantically looking to have dinner.Hotel Restaurant- nice interior; did not have a chance to eat- we tried to have a lunch at 1:15 pm- waitress was so unhappy that we came (there was no other costumerthat we just left.Advise - until they improve service- look somewhere else to spend your money

The location is incredible in old San Juan, its close to everything. There was a parking lot a block or two from the hotel which always had space, but did fill up after we had parked one night, so that could potentially be a problem, but if you get a taxi to the hotel, you dont really need a car, if you plan to stay in the area. The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There were a few things that needed repair or upkeep but otherwise it was fine. An additional inner door for sound proofing was a nice touch so that you didnt hear noise from the bar or other guests. The pool is small, although its impressive that they even have one given the location. Its essentially a large hot tub. In fact its maybe twice the size of the hot tub thats next to it. However its located on a balcony on the 4th floor and is comfortable and relaxing.

So very beautiful! we loved staying here! right in the heart of old San Juan, there was so much to do. the view from our window was just so gorgeous. Our bed was remade each day we left and came back. Even though the floors are tile or Brick (something old and beautifulit was not dusty, or dirty to walk on. good size for a couple. Hospitality made us feel like we were at home. its an old Nun Convent so we enjoyed immersing ourselves in the whole experience. the water in the hot tub was not hot but there was so much other things to do we didnt mind! I would definitely recommend staying here. Also, this place is pretty popular for weddings so it was a party every night we were there. you can really feel the love 💘
