The most relaxing stay that I have ever had, great room and service, concierge was the best, thank you for being so nice. The room I booked was small but a cozy one,great for one person traveling.

Small room but good service and amenities, nice and convenient location

Great place if youre looking for modern accommodation. Hotel is located on the busy street, close to MRT station with plenty of shops in the area like 7-eleven, food stalls, bars, fast food chains, pharmacy and many more. Spent here almost 2 weeks in 2019. Clean, comfortable, spacious room with modern facilities (efficient AC, large tv, wireless phone with hot spot function, minibar, bathroom with both tub and shower, toilet with heated seat, quality toiletries provided, coin operated washing machines and tumble dryers on the roof by the terrace with nice views). Helpful staff, breakfast only average but was ok for me. Honestly, nothing to complain. Would book again if I ever come back to Taipei.

This is by far my poorest experience ever .First of all, I asked for late checkout and was charged NT200/HR, which is fine IF the housekeeping work was really nice and clean. When we checked in the bathroom floor looked filthy and the hairdryer bag had white stain on it , not to mention the shower room has what looks like mold ...Secondly, I asked for one large bed and got two single beds merged together, causing me a difficult time sleeping throughout the night.Thirdly, I woke up with bed bug bites on my stomach.The cherry on top of all of this was our check out time was 13:00 TPE time , housekeeping barged in at 12:00, without knocking. This is an invasion of privacy , thank god I was fully dressed otherwise it would be extremely awkward.

We stayed for two nights on the 18th to 20th of June 2020. The rooms were really cozy, and we especially enjoyed the Cha Tzu Tang amenities provided. We asked the front desk why they weren’t in travel sizes as marketed in the site, and the front desk explained that due to their eco friendly incentives they weren’t providing them anymore. I would like to commend the front desk staff during both our nights, a male staff in the night shift, who was patient and helpful over the phone, really exceptional service.The hotel is located in a very well centered part of Songshan close to an MRT Station and buses are easily accessible. Tons of places to eat nearby and very convenient.One of the cons of the place was that we found the rooms to be very dimly lit, but that seems to be the case with many boutique hotels, so take that in mind. Aside from that, the snacks and Nespresso in the room were really nice, and the bed was quite comfortable.The complimentary breakfast didn’t have that many options but was enough. Food options were mainly oriental dishes like congee and minced pork rice and buns, but there were also breads, eggs, bacon and some typical western styles breakfast buffet.Overall it was a pleasant stay, and would definitely recommend and stay in the future.

2020/4/11-142nd time was not as pleasent 🤪🙄The bed was too hard, pretty bright in the morning, also some mosquitoes. Although the staff was still very nice.2019/5/19-21very nice place, price is good, clean and pretty big (executive suite), good sized bathtub, conviene stores around, staff is nice and super helpful.i had 2 great nights staying there for my anniversary, highly recommended😕 breakfast is not so good, not worth to wake up for that

It doesn’t look like the pic that we have seen.The room looks a bit old and carpet doesn’t look clean at all , stain on the toilet floor , the blow dryer bag is pretty dusty too .The staff was pretty friendly and helpful. We asked if we could borrow 2 umbrellas, and they quickly prepare two for us ,but there is a cockroach on it ...still moving !!!!!Definitely not recommend to stay there if you are looking for a comfy hotel !

Modern and cosy rooms that are clean and tidy. Bathroom is spacious and comes with a bathtub and japanese toilet which is an added bonus.All amenities we required were there and free snacks and drinks were provided. Service staffs were also very friendly and service requests was promptly received.Breakfast, though limited in variety, was homely and filling. Location is quite near shopping areas in taipei 101(about 10 mins uber driveand getting around was easy.

Sōngshān line Convenience take me to the airport 2. around the area you never hungry 😋3. in future come Taipei first booking .Stay in for over 8 nightsmall Suggest is need more EmployeeOne elevator to slowtop roof should look like small gardenperfect for business.

The hotel has a very nice feel to common areas overall, although its not one with too many amenities or features like restaurants, conference room etc. The theme of mahjong to room cards, toiletry boxes and other detailing was also a nice touch. Our suite had a very nice decor and was well maintained, but areas like the hallways, rooftop and stairwell to get there could definitely do with a renovation, and leaves the impression that lower-priced rooms might be at a lower standard. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to special requests like flower delivery to the room and additional cleaning help.

Very pleasant stay ! Location is very convenient , lots of local food stores nearby ( including those local breakfast stores just located a street behind . Spacious and beautiful room , staff are attentive . Breakfast is basic but good enough for such price range . Hip style hotel and the coffee downstairs is good too. Would definitely stay again whenever I visit Taipei . Highly recommended

Really nice place to stay. Clean, friendly staffs and included breakfast everyday of my stay. Pretty good breakfasts and the hotel is a couple of bkocks away from the MRT station. Pretty convenient.

Nice hotel! The receptionist will bring you all the way to the room and explain everything to you. They are very helpful and friendly! Recommended 👍🏻

Quiant, modern hotel with great cafe.

Everything is good. Zero complaint, same as Taiwanese and Taiwan itself. From room cleaniness to location to politeness, friendliness and helpfulness of staffs, i would rate all 101%. Will definitely come back.

Nice hotel, rooms a bit small though, unless you get an upgrade to the large room. Sucks that they only have 1 lift and asking for amenities is a nightmare as it takes too long.But it is convenient and easy access.

Awesome place to stay. Size of the room just nice. Room is clean and new. Super friendly staff made us feel appreciated. Walking distance to MRT and many food places around. Plenty of food choices around to find and eat like a local. Hope to be back!

I stay in hotel east Taipei for 2 night. My bedroom was really spacious with all accommodation.I’ve appreciated the large TV screen with a larger choice of blue ray.The employee were really nice.The restaurant is also nice and propose Japanese food.The only negative thing is that bedroom windows are not really soundproof and as the hotel is located on a big crowded street, the room might be not that quite even during the night.

Their hospitality actually was the star to my Taiwan trip. I like how they pay attention to small details, like the toothbrush which I really liked, and the warm toilet seats. With that price point and the location plus the clean new and relaxing vibe about the hotel, whats there to complain? I cant find anything I dont like about the place.

Clean and new hotel. Rooms were a bit small. Do not book basement rooms if you are handicapped as elevators dont go all the way down. Youre required to take two flights of stairs.

Nice place, kind staff, roof top with self service Landry facilities. Average break fast buffet.

Very clean hotel with outstanding service

The location was good to get around Taipei. Bus stop and mrt is close by. Getting around by Uber wasnt too far or expensive. The rooms were well maintained. They all had a nice tv with lots to watch. There was also free breakfast that wasnt too bad. Overall had a good experience. Would go back again.

I should have looked at the room size as it was really small. But I was travelling alone so it was just nice. Service staff are really helpful and always cheerful. A great experience overall.

Its a good inexpensive hotel to stay in. Everything is close by and the famous pineapple cake Chia Te Bakery is across the street. Service and room was great. Only down side is the tub is very small. You wont be able to stretch out your legs. Besides that, no other complaints.

Hip modern hotel and friendly English speaking staff. The hotel is close to the MTR station making it easy to get around the city.

Nice clean modern hotel but rather small. Rooms are also underground. Not city center but convenient location and well connected.

The hotel was nice overall. But the shower drain was clogged and flooded the bathroom. The only thing the hotel did was apologize with no further assistance.

First of all, excellent service.BUT... they were kind of strict on the check in time even I was there sitting at the reception.. Another thing to be improved is the sound proof, I could hear next doors TV..Great breakfast, very comfortable to stay at.Will go again!

Excellent hotel staff and clean environment. The decor was pretty interesting, using lots of taiwanese/chinese element. It is a newly opened hotel but they definitely know what they are doing. You always enjoy the uniqueness when you decide to stay at a nice boutique hotel, including this time.

Better than what we expected. Not too pricy, nice room, bbbbbeatiful decor and interior design, really attentive staff, would be better if they could have more options for breakfast. In general, a great boutique hotel with great location.

ts authentic dish! It tastes good. place is beautiful and clean atmosphere. We had memorable time and memory. Service is good and speedy, do not expect this to be a fancy restaurant tho. Good for a quick and tasty meal.

Loved my stay at Hotel East Taipei. We booked 4 rooms with my colleagues while on business trip in Taipei. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable bed, clean room and cozy! Wi-Fi is strong that you can watch videos. Breakfast was superb! I love Japanese food and they have different Japanese and american breakfast choices every morning. Great location, 5 minutes walk to the closest metro station. Lots of restaurants to choose from. We will definitely stay at this place again!

Barely opened for a month, got a good cafe place and surrounding area got good eateries and cafes and good supermarket!
