I have been traveling for my job many times all over the world, and this place was a little inconvenient. But the staff, the food, the location is perfect. Thank you all for your great work and I truly hope we come back here.
We only visited the beach for 5 hourson route to the airport. Cost us €27 for 2 loungers and an umbrella - well worth it as the hospitality and cleanliness was faultless - definitely come back for a few nights stay.lovely lunch sat looking out to sea, Thanks to all that looked after us with a smile
5star hotel with very good services. Proposed for summer period
I went to Spa. Wonderful experience. My only complaint is that I didnt enjoy the sauna because a lady want it for herself and the employee didnt do anything for that. He just propose to go to mens sauna...... this is not 5 star hospitality for me
Cant sleep whole week as in rooom has zero sound comfort and I woke up several times during a night. In a lobby is scamm ATM machine which can steal your money if you are not careful enough during conversion. Such a scamm machine should not be tolerated in 5* hotel.
Terrible service. The pool staff are so rude and you wait at least 30 min to a hour to even be able to order from them. Also at the cafe area. Rude and take a long time to serve you. And they act as if your ruining their whole day just by needing to order something. Very disappointing
Nice & classic hotel, beautiful see view big swimming pool.
Really nice hotel if you want to relax but also good for business conferences. Close to the sea, not far from the airport (around 30min by taxi), but quite far from Athens center.Staff is friendly and considerate.Rooms are clean and modern.
I have traveled all over the world. This is by far the best hotel I have ever been to. This is saying alot. Been to 30 countrys and hundreds of 5 star hotels. This is by far the best.
Don’t take their shuttle bus.It will leave you stranded in the city.
Nice hotel but it is a little dated. The rooms are great and the bed was heavenly it was difficult to leave! But as others have said there is 0 sound proofing so you can hear everything from other rooms even standing in the corridor. The beach area is nice but very small, if you cant get a bed you have to pay at their beach club which is honestly unacceptable given the cost of the hotel, I dont see why the guests cant use the beach club as well. It tainted the experience a bit. The location is OK but you have to get a taxi to the centre of town. Overall a nice hotel but could do with some updates. Ther service was great and very friendly.
I went to this hotel for a three-day business meeting with 80 colleagues. The service was excellent, rooms clean and comfortable, and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Id stay here for leisure travel in a heartbeat!
Very expensive for what you get. We have ended up paying $850 per night. They charge for everything extra nothing is included even the coffee is extra. Go with Airbnb.
We ended up paying around $850 per night. Almost nothing was included, even for the gym they charge you. Go with Airbnb.
The worst waiter I have ever had.I was seated at the beach club on Tuesday. The young man’s name was something similar to Accolades/Accolides. I wouldn’t normally drop a name but he left me no choice. It’s simple really, if you can’t show a modicum of friendliness, honesty or compassion for the people who are paying good money for you to serve them mediocre food - don’t become a waiter. This person ruined our entire day with his unfriendly attitude. One guest asked him if he could sit down at a table to which he replied - I don’t care! The guest left extremely embarrassed - I don’t blame him.Guy needs to be fired.
We have had an amazing time in the hotel! Rooms are good size, comfy bed and nice bathroom. The breakfast was decent with many options. However the best part is the Apollon beach club, the service there has been great and we really want to thank Kashif because he made our stay so pleasant, always positive and smiley. Freddo cappuccions are also super tasty and a must in Greece. We also liked that the hotel was pet friendly! :)
10 reasons why i will never stay at this hotel again:After paying 450 euros per night in a superior double room…1- they didn’t confirm pick up from the port so we had to call and we waited for an hour a driver to come2- konstantinous at the reception insisted to give us a rear room and he said it was fully booked, when i said i want to speak to a manager, he gave us a relatively good room with high floor as per my wish which he said it was without a view also, he doesnt know his hotel? He kept looking for a room on the system while we were waiting at the reception for almost 15 minutes!!!!3- he didn’t make booking at the restaurant and when we called, they said no availability so we had to change it last minute4- at the reception, trying to get a van ride took them an hour to confirm!!! Asked the same questions three times!!5- the keys are always not working, had to change them three times! And same problem with other guests too!!!6- the breakfast service was below 3 star and the food was cold… i ordered coffee while still having breakfast the waiter said sorry we finished breakfast! Ordered eggs twice and both times they came wrong! The manager at the breakfast is very loud and rude and the other waitress doesn’t know english!!! No body made a table for us, no one waited the table at all,,,, i had to go have breakfast somewhere else!7- the pool service doesn’t exist, had to ask for the towel twice… no waiters and the pool men are lazy to walk to me!!!8- spa is below average! They didn’t offer jacuzzi or sauna, didn’t offer the different types of massage and the massage lady was ok, but not the quality u pay 150 euros for!!!9- beach service was ok but the waiter forgot to bring our lunch!!! And there was no available beds on the beach10- room was poorly cleaned, even the dirty coffee cups were not changedNot a five star and not worth 450 euros a night
The hotel has a private beach access with some sunbeds, food and drink service is also available at the beach and the pool. The pool staff is nice and helpful and the food is good.
IDon’t recommend the room service food. It’s a very very old hotel.
The location and views are excellent. The room was ok, a bit aged. The breakfast buffet is rich. Pools are nice and the beach owned by the hotel is just across the street accessible by a tunnel. The crowd is well mixed in age, nationality. It is a pleasant hotel to stay by the sea a couple of days in Athens.
Beautiful view and surroundings, very good breakfast options. Very pricy though. Stayed here for the week of my sisters wedding.
Well organized, beach side hotel with pool. City of Athens is 40min to 60min away even by taxi. It has a free taxi service but only 4 times a day. Could increase frequency depending on customer request.
An impresive hotel with hospitable and friendly staff. Rooms and bathrooms are a comfortable size, clean and stocked with hospitality items. The room has a decent sized balcony overlooking either the gardens and out to sea or directly out to sea. The staff went over-and-above, to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. Definitely a recommended hotel to stay when visiting Athens and surrounds
Its not really a five star is it?!Most real five stars around the world give you daily water, but here, whether its one night or ten, you only get one bottle on the first day!!I asked to have face towels daily on the first day, but every day I had to ask for one after the room had been cleaned as it wasnt been replaced.Kettle in the room that makes the water taste like plastic! Its these attention to details that let this hotel down. Pity.
Hotel ok for business trip but for not with family. Too crowded. In addition I would say that this is too expensive for this quality.
Nice hostel with 2 swimming pool, a restaurant, direct access to the beach and a spa with sport room (extra to pay). Nice rooms. Quiet place on about 15km from the center of Athena
Great hotel to stay at Athens near sea. Hotel bar is great. The rooms were quite big and clean.Near hotel are also a few restaurants with incredible view just on the sea.We enjoyed our stay a lot.
Nice hotel with great view. Clean and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is superb.
Spa center has cheated us and "stolen" half of the year that was prepaid. The other 6 months they said they were open but they did not have all the services we have paid for. Moreover, when we were calling them for details when and what will be working in their spa, the guy on the phone (chief of that department I assumewas very aggressive and impolite. As this is not cheap at all, I would suggest to look for other places where people are acting more like humans.
Its a perfect vacation place which is away from all city rush. You will woke up to the scenic view of sea, vessels and cruises. You can watch city view as well as sea from same room
First major venue attended after lockdown. Great place, caring staff and making all to keep everyone safe.A great place in a great location operated by great managers and staff.
Very good hotelClean room and friendly staff providing super good serviceI ordered food through room service and the chef came in person and served my foodAmazing Greek PizzaAnd amazing salmon pokeComplementary Zaropi water bottle was givenReally impressed 👌🏻
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Stayed here for work for 4 nights, staff were really friendly, rooms are great with a balcony. Air con wasnt that great, but was ok. Food every day was amazing, bar food also great. Next to beach. Pools looked good but we didnt have access with our rooms (rooms were booked by client). Loads of great food places close by. Could stay here on holiday it was that nice
By far the best Hotel I had the privilege to stay in so far.The staff is very friendly, helpfull and make you feel welcome and at Home.
Fabulous hotel in a really great location. My wife came here for a destressing package of treatments. This is only second hand knowledge but she absolutely loved it. The hotel had timetabled all of the events for her and took care of her nutritional needs as well. Whilst she was doing all of that I was working, but going out in the surrounding area for walks and generally enjoying the view from our sea front room and balcony. We went off season which in a lot of ways may have been better. The beaches were more relaxed, hotel calm ....I would definitely come again, but there are so many other places to go and see.
Lovely premises by the sea less than 30 minutes from downtown Athens or from the El. Venizelos International Airport.Minutes away from Vouliagmeni, Athens VIP wonderful seaside suburb
Amazing helpful staff and beautiful location close to the beach with direct access to the private beach of the Hotel. Delicious Greek food within the Hotel. Thanks for making my stay such a pleasant one 🙏👍
Nice cosy room.Descent prices.Next to the sea.Easy transportation to and from centre of Athens and airport El. Venizelos.Tasty foods and beautiful swimmingpool area.Located the coastal riviera of Athens capital of Greece. The area is a very safe green and romantic suburb of Athens with a lot of high gastronomy restaurant. It is also characterized for his high class and luxurious residents.
Nice facility close to sea. But the staff at the breakfast looked bothered when we asked for something. If you pay 400 eur a night, this shouldnt happen. Other than that weve enjoyed our stay here
Very disappointing! We decided to stay near Athens to take in the attractions. Having a 5yr old and being in record temps 🔥🔥🔥we wanted a nice resort with pool and beach. The hotel is lovely nice rooms amenities and pools. But due to covid the indoor pool is closed which is not easily listed on website. The beach is fine although the staff and service is dreadful. Took over 45 mins to order drinks and water even if you walk to the bar the service is terrible and staff is slow and look angry under their masks. The service was so bad at the beach we haven’t been back to the beach. Our last day we toured Athens very early in the morning. After returning to the hotel all we wanted was lunch and some wine. Once again 30-45min wait for drinks EVEN walking up to the bar our 2 glasses of house wine took an additional 15mins. DO NOT STAY here if you like pool & beach service. Not worth the money!
Great views from balconies, very good quiet beach, nice outdoor swimming pools. 3 stars for Very slow (specially without tips🤦service. The stuff is not friendly at all - I would say very direct and rude! Just after I asked manager they change the way of speaking... Not high level service at all for 5 star hotel.... Plus incredibly boring breakfasts - always the same food every day. And horrible food for lunches and dinners - please CHANGE CHEF!
Every time I’m in Athens, I have to come to the Divani for a city getaway and this last July was no exception! The staff are wonderful and the hotel & amenities are definitely 5 star! My guests and I simply love the easy access to the clean, beautiful sandy beach, restaurants by the water and exceptional pools! The food and beverages are fresh and delicious, time and time again, and there is so much variety that no one will leave hungry. Great location as well as it’s very close to the Glufada Golf Course as well as amazing restaurants.
Great hotel with private beach ,The private beach is too small for the entire hotel .Two pools that are big OutsideSpa pretty expensive for us tho.We enjoyed our stay so far .
Awesome hotel. The two pools are wonderful. service at the pool is great (I think the guys name was Dimitriosthe entire hotel is awesome. Location is a bit quiet but still charming and you can always order a Beat (Athens’ Uberto nearby Glyfada (5€, 10 min). Don’t miss this place. Suggestion: I’d love to see a vegan option in breakfast
We stayed here in mid-August; my parents live in Athens, and before seeing them, we wanted to quarantine for a week, and chose Divani to do so. I cant speak highly enough about the experience. The room, the service, the food, the amenities, and–most importantly–the COVID precautions...from top to bottom, the experience was excellent. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure the guests felt safe and comfortable. I absolutely plan on staying here again, and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
Great hotel with two lovely pools and views truly beautiful. We were put into this 5* hotel after a cancelled flight and much as I would rather have got the flight this was a great second! Wonderful bed and room with balcony. We didnt get to eat in any of the restaurants as they laid on special buffet style for all us rejects (many flights were cancelledbut the food we had was good. Alcohol and other drinks very, and I mean very, expensive so I only had one cocktail which was also very tasty. Not my sort of hotel, since I gave up running conferences, but if you like spa and posh then this is a good place to head.
What I loved the most was the attitude of the staff - everybody so polite, friendly and welcoming. Everything clean and shiny, the room service was great, the room big enough for two people. Large king size bed unfortunately made of two single beds. I could imagine fancier hotels, but there is so much marble and glass, that you still feel luxurious. :)
I stayed here for one night: one of the best hotels so far I have stayed in Greece. The atmosphere was quite welcoming but professional, the food provided was great and multiple choices were available. They also have a pool as well as a balcony for each room. The minibar is also stocked well, the bed soft and comfy.
This is a very pleasant hotel. The amenities are wonderful, with a wonderful spa and outdoor pools. The beach is across the street with a private area for hotel guests. As for location, its in a quiet area that is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of Athens, so if you are looking for a location that is closer to the city this is not the place for you, but you can always take a quick taxi ride into the city. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxing luxurious hotel, and are willing to take a 30 minute ride into the city to explore...
The hotel is beautiful and very well kept. The staff is very accommodating and works well to ensure you enjoy your stay.Breakfast was delicious and everything was always fresh. The spa and work out facility are amazing. Its far from the Acropolis but still in a great location. The view was beautiful, the pool was great and it was fantastic being close to the beach!Definitely a number 1 choice!
