Room service is available.Breakfast and parking are free. Other amenities include a Mediterranean-style coffee shop and a river-view restaurant, as well as a bar by the outdoor pool. Other amenities consist of a barber shop, a jewelry store and a garden. Massages and tours are available.
Went there for the breakfast buffet and...nothing special with the food.Almost the same food and the same taste.
I booked a room for my daughter there. It is supposed to be a staycation but their pool is under maintenance and has been like that for several days already accdg to them. They should have announced it at their website because we wouldnt have booked it for that reason and should have stayed somewhere elsw. What a disappointment. For those of you planning to book this hotel, call first to make sure your money is worth it
Great location overlooking the Iloilo river. Very accommodating staff.
Accommodating hotel staff, nice clean rooms, WiFi access is good. Food has limited to Filipino and American menu, I hope they add more seafood dishes. But the "steak" is fine!
Still a great old captivating charm!
Super approved Avocado Cheesecake from Hotel Del Rio. A super fruit in a 🍰
Super nice in very low price.
Old hotel, but it has its charm. Front desk hospitality can be improved. Good food.
Enjoyed having breakfast buffet with my mom and her friends. It was the 1st time they got together again after 2yrs. We enjoyed they sumptuous meals and warm service.
We were assured that breakfast buffet would start at 6AM since one of us had to go by 6:30. We arrived 6:10AM and the hall did not even have its lights on yet, tables were not set. Even their advertising materials show that the buffet would start at 6AM.Food was great though. Service staff were courteous and accomodating.Shame that our experience was marred by the late start of the buffet.
Cant even swim in swimming pool. Cant secure things in the room coz of broken door lock HAHAHA
I just go there to pay my bills in more power but they are very accommodatingAnd willing to assist everybody who are not familiar with the place.hurraah to all staff and security guard
Food is okay.Services, is good.Place is clean but quite hectic during the day due to More Power office.FYI: More Power is an electric company provider here in Iloilo and renting a space @ Hotel Del Rio as their main office. So, if you have any complaint/concern regarding electricity here in Iloilo this is the place you need to visit and try out the cakes in this hotel restaurant.
Cozy hotel and the restaurant serves fantastic food. The room is a bit wary though and quite expensive compared to new sorrounding hotels in the area.
Nice view and clean rooms. Nice bathroom by local standards with running hot water and functional shower. Theres also a fridge and patio with a nice view. This hotel is only five minutes from the beach. The beach near this hotel is perfect for snorkeling, collecting coral, shells and I even found a blue star fish. The upstairs has three rooms, a closet and door leading outside to the patio. The bottom floor also has 3 beds, a cozy little kitchen with a refrigerator.Theres a table for eating a couple feet away from the front door. The bathroom has fully functional shower, sink and toilet. This combination of essential features is hard to find without any bugs in certain parts of the Philippines. You could easily have 7 people rest in the home because at least one of the beds is king size. Theres electric outlets for charging phones and computers.
Nice, old hotel.Hotel staff are courteous. Needs an upgrade in rooms, though as they are a bit old. Rooms cant filter out noise from their events area.Breakfast buffet is ok. Not so great but decent enough. Staff are helpful and dont rush you to finish breakfast by 10 a.m. They have very good native tablea hot chocolate.
Was there for the Madz Concert. Hall well prepared and laid out. I was wondering about the acoustics as the hall ceiling was quite low for that kind of a program. They need to do a better sound check for the hall with a very good sound expert; that includes placement of speakers and actual output volume. It was far too loud early on, more reminiscent of an open air barrio dance fest instead of a high level cultural show, which the Madz Concert always is. So, only 3 stars for that evening event for Del Rio, but 5 stars for the Madz
The staff are very accommodating and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The coffee is not that good though. hehehe
Despite the influx of new hotels in Iloilo through the last decade, Hotel del Rio retains its pride of place as a reliable institution for fine dining and the site of so many family celebrations and milestones. The quality of our favourite lengua is consistently muy delicioso. Iloilo has made great strides of progress in this millennium. Del Rio manages to keep up while keeping the old traditions we cherish.
Big room with nice view on the river. Good internet. No bar, only restaurant. One day laundry. No too much water in the toilet on third floor.
This hotel hasnt lost its allure. Still one of the best in its food, rooms, services, and location..
Lucky enough to be at the riverside view of the hotel. Loved the ambiance and the feeling of natural air touches ur face in the morning.. With complete personal care u need during stay..😊
Everyone was courteous and very helpful. Our stay in Iloilo has been made more special because of their staff. Will come back again soon. 😊
The hotel room is spacious, nice and clean. Overall ambience is reminiscent of traditional Iloilo setting. Room rates are not expensive. The elevator service is not activated ("on"as stated in their schedule. Bathroom lighting is quite dark.
Hotel del rio have a long history. kind employee. reasonable price. a delicious restauranta and special coffee,a good position. And its the best choice for a good memory.
A very comfortable stay! May be an older hotel but it is clean and comfortable and staff really went out of their way for us. Breakfast buffet was great, lots to choose from.
I was here since college around 2011-12 when we are conducting our swimming lesson in their pool area. And I came back here every time we have activities. Even though the hotel was very old, the management still managed to maintain its quality. Their rooms were comfortable and updated in terms of designs and fixtures. The food was also good but the flowing coffee is not that good.
Visited the hotel for the dinner buffet at Cafe del prado. The selection was not that much, but what they lack in variety was up for by the quality. Each dish was outstanding by itself, i really loved the fresh lumpia made with egg omelete however as it light yet packs alot of flavor. Spent around 670 php per person, which is just the right amount for a decent meal.
The hotel has a unique resemblance of the past and the future. It is good for forum, seminars, trainings and wedding reception.
Relaxing with a very old timey Spanish house vibe. The employees are wonderful and the food is excellent but there was a few things that needed repair in the bathroom. Aside from that we had an awesome stay
We stayed overnight with my family in a big and spacious bedroom however, the location of aircon unit is not strategic in a way that it only cools a limited space near the dresser. We were not able to enjoy the pool for it is under renovation. The buffet breakfast is the best!! From bacon to a variety of dishes to tablea drink... I will definitely drop by again for a sumptous meal!
Its the place for the best tasting spread of banquet buffet for weddings. Its an old hotel so it has that rustic and homey feel.
This should be 3.5 stars not 3. Ambiance is nice. Staff is ok, food is nice. My friends and I ate here for a breakfast buffet and for the price of 425(ish?is not really worth it for a two viand meal (corned beef and fried chickenofcourse there are other food, like pancakes bacon, salad, choco and milk drinks and fruit, which is very fine by me.If you are looking for a buffet with lots of viand variations, look for another one.
One of the old hotels in Iloilo but always trying to update. At present quite dusty due to renovation of the ball room area. At the riverside there is the beautiful Iloilo River Esplanade good for early walking exercise. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Weve been comfortable during our stay there. The vicinity is nice and the service is excellent . The staffs were very accomodating too.
Good Staff, food but an old hotel and some small things may not work, faucet, TV and power plug.
During our stay, there were ongoing construction to some parts. There were noises even during our training. The hotel room is good. They tidy the room everyday.
The hotel is great. Had an event there and the staff was very flexible and accommodating. The rooms are modern with a touch of Mediterranean design 👌
Hotel needs a lot of renovations and improvements. Food has declined in quality through the years. Staff are great. I think thats the only thing going on for this hotel. With a lot of new hotels popping up, this one needs a lot of work to survive
This is a nice friendly hotel. The restaurant is nice and the rooms clean and comfortable. The only down side was the noisy air con unit in my room. The staff are great though as us the location just across the bridge from their board walk and the trendy Small Ville area within walking distance.
The place is good. It has a nice view facing the iloilo river. The sunset is really nice. The food is great and the crew are respectful. If you happen to visit iloilo, come and stay at Hotel Del Rio. It offers affordable yet comfortable place to stay. It very close in SM City and other malls.
Place is newly renovated though amenities is little. Good food and service. Staff and service crew are polite.
Its one of the oldest hotels in iloilo city. They have a long tradition of good food. Recent upgrades have kept them upto par with most of the newer hotels.
An updated classic. The coffee shop and its menu has just undergone an uplift and renovation. Food is still great, still with good choices.
Nice room, Short in parking space, front desk staff gave me wrong info not less than 5 times for our venue though very accommodating.. can accommodate small and big events
If theres anything that this hotel is more famous for, its their food! Haha it has been years since I last stayed in their hotel but i recall that the rooms then were a bit "old" but Im sure they had renovated it.
Rooms are great! been a wedding photographer and the rooms are really great for photos. also the pools view is amazing, just beware of the passers by ;)
... clean rooms, nice staff and lovely breakfast. has minor flaws i.e. water leaks out when having a shower, but so far, acceptable soundproofed walls with great tasting food especially the international buffet.
Pleasant stay. Loved their breakfast buffet. They have chicken longganisa, ham, rice, omelet, vegetables, breakfast cereals, pancakes, and fruits.
Ambiance is good, rustic Spanish feel but with modern twist. Friendly staff and great food. However, the complimentary wi-fi is slow and some rooms doesnt have doorbells.
