A boutique hotel in the center of Florence near everything, with the best breakfast weve ever had in Europe, and amazing staff. Our room was large, airy, and quiet, and they provide daily housekeeping! We feel very fortunate to have chosen it.Next visit to Florence well stay here again. 🙂👍👏
Greatest place to stay in town with a fantastic and convenient location thats central to everything and next to the main train station. The staff speak fantastic English and are very accommodating and polite. The rooms are modern and air conditioned and breakfast is traditional and delicious.
room is smallbut location and service was good enought
Very nice rooms . Comfortable stay . Only parking was very tight n finding the entry from car is tricky. Otherwise the receptionist was kind n knowledgeable. Helped me a lot . Superb stay in Florence also all attractions are walkable
Amazing hotel , the Ros are really modern and clean, our stay was great. The hotel is so close to the train station as the touristic attractions. Antonio in the front desk is amazing, kind, and will help you with anything you need. Great place in Florence
LOVE IT. Thank you. Had a horrible first night in Florence, but this totally made it better. Friendly staff. Beautiful room. Beautiful common areas. Could not say enough. Highly recommended.
Amazing place, great room, we had great sleep there cause bed is absolutely outstanding, very helpful and nice staff especially receptionist, he showed us on map everything we wanted to see, we had great breakfast, there is wide choice of amazing food and drinks like tea, coffee and location is perfect its very near train station and also city center you dont have to use any kind of public transportation. You can also leave your luggage here if you come early which is great.
Very close to train and bus station and market. Clean rooms and very good service. Breakfast is top notch with pastries eggs salami coffee and toast. Private bathrooms and comfortable beds in renovated rooms.
Would say this the staff are very attentive to your needs and the location is good little bit difficult to park but its okay. Very close to the train station which is a big plus. Only negative would be the noisy airconditioner.400 year old buiding with character. Breakfast well above average.
Very comfortable and quaint hotel. Amazing location very close to train station, restaurants, leather market, and Duomo! Amazing friendliness and hospitality for all questions and parts of the stay. Delicious breakfast with tasty pastries and fresh honey and cafe. Spacious bedrooms and even better bathroom and amazing shower. Room did have AC but did not get very cool and mosquitos in room left some going away presents. Would stay again especially since it is in easy walking distance to all major sites (not awful trek to Michaelangelo piazzale)
We just stayed at the Hotel Cosimo de Medici while in Florence and could not have been happier. We were welcomed warmly at the front desk and really made to feel special, even though I could tell they were extremely busy. Our room wasnt quite ready yet as we had arrived earlier in the day, so we spent the afternoon wandering around Florence. When we came back we were once again greeted with a smile and shown to our room. To our surprise, the room was actually on the back side of the hotel and we were informed it was the largest room in the hotel! It was a large room with a loft and it was perfect! It had a heavy gated door so we were secure, and the courtyard it was in was extremely quiet and private. The air conditioning was ice cold and the room included a refrigerator, sink, microwave and a table with chairs. Downstairs it contained two day beds and the upstairs loft included a double bed with dresser and lamps. It really was perfect for our needs. The hotel is located literally around the corner from train station, it took us all of 3 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. Our room also included the breakfast and we were happy with what was served. The fair ranged from pastries to meats and cheeses to yogurts. The lovely lady manning the breakfast area was extremely helpful and very sweet.Absolutely loved our stay there. You wont be disappointed.
Rated 4 in terms of value for money. The hotel is not spectacular in any sense but we were well looked after and concerns were addressed quickly. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was as youd expect. The real selling point fire this hotel is its location. In sight of the station and within 5 minutes of Florences landmarks, youll never have to spend anything on transport.
Nice room, especially for the price, and with complimentary breakfast. Pillows are pretty standard European (i.e. flat and hard), but staff tries to be accommodating to our snowflake American needs (like the air was off for the year and our rooms got toasty with windows closed which, facing the road, it needed to be for us to sleep- they found a fan for us to use though.)
Wonderful, kind, friendly, helpful staff. Fabulous breakfast buffet. Perfectly located near center, within walking distance of all the sights. A marvelous stay, but too short. I recommend a minimum of five days in Florence. Thank you for everything!
This was a very nice hotel and extremely close to the main train terminal. It is within walking distance about 2 blocks away. The room was a little tight but very clean. The breakfast in the morning was very good and staff was very helpful. This hotel is very close to restaurants, shopping, and the Duomo. There are elevators, but they are very small. Keep in mind, this is not a Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental. This is a lovely bed and breakfast type of hotel. I would gladly stay here again.
WE had a nice stay at this hotel. The location was great as we were traveling by train. The Gals at the desk were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. Traffic noise was kept to a minimum. All and all Wed give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Wonderful surprise in Florence. This hotel was absolutely perfect for us (we were 3 adults). The location just a 5 minute walk (or lessfrom the train station, the breakfast excellent, the room was just perfect, the bathroom a little bit small but manageable. The staff was absolutely polite and friendly, they made us feel welcome from the start. Definitely recommend this hotel 110%, you won’t be disappointed.
Very nice and pleasant stay. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and cozy, it was cleaned and the sheets and towels were changed daily, something you dont see very often at a 3 star hotel. The lady from the morning breakfast even remembered how I drink my coffee. One thing that could be improved is the breakfast available options. All in all, a very nice stay, we will come again.
It was an awesome experience. Breakfast was super duper. The rooms was very neat and clean. Washrooms was also very clean. The staffs were friendly. They helped us. There was a small balcony in the room. The view of the street was good as seen from the balcony. But the room was small not so big enough. Total homely atmosphere. Great location, very close to train station and restaurants and main attractions.
The hotel was ideally located for access from the main train station and to attractions, restaurants and pick up point for tours. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Unfortunately the room was very small - approximately 14 square metres including the bathroom. It was the smallest room we have experienced during our 5 week holiday. The 2 single beds were end to end as the room was not wide enough for them to fit any other way. The bathroom was also very narrow and this made it extremely difficult to dress after a shower.
Our stay at the Hotel Cosimo deMedici was very enjoyable. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was everything you needed. Rooms are very comfortable and the location was the best. Right next to the train station. Would definitely recommend a stay there.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Everything was well organized. Parking was available right on the premises but keep in mind that it might be better to book in advance for that. The breakfast was excellent. The room was not bad at all. The staff were all very very nice. I would stay there again.
The Hotel staff was very nice and the room was clean. The location of the hotel is pretty clsoe to the train station which helped us a lot since we were travelling a lot. On the other hand, it is also close to the Duomo and the erst of the city. Since you do not need to have a car or use the publiv transport in Firenze, Hotel Cosimo deMedici seems like a viable and good option.
Good little hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was a pretty good selection. Our room was refurbished but unfortunately no view from the window as it looked into a service alley. Would still recommend.
My experience at the Hotel was not a normal one, and it was so lucky for me that my awful illness happened in the care of such thoughtful and helpful hosts.I got the travellers nightmare and experienced a nasty stomach illness the night we first arrived. I must have caught it before I came to Florence. The staff, changed my bed, let me sleep as much as a I liked, and made sure I had fresh linen, had plenty of boiled water on hand etc, and was comfortable. They never made me feel embarrassed, and were always polite and keen to assist. Thank you staff. A week later when I felt over it. I really appreciated all their advice and assistance.
Very good hotel. The location is great, near the train station. There are good restaurants around. The bedroomsecond are a good size but the bathroomsame are a little small. the staff is the best, Very kind people. Oh and they have a elevator if you need one. I would g9 back.
The front desks attitude was not good but the rooms were nice. The waitress in restaurant didnt allow us to use the big table when we carried lots of bags. But the restaurant was literally empty. It was near to the train station so it was convenient.3 stars are enough...
This place was amazing! We checked in very last minute due to train cancellations and bad weather, and they were wonderful! It was almost 2am and they let us in, set us up, and were just so helpful. Our room was very cute and clean, with loads of space, breakfast in the morning was really good, and checkout was very easy. Totally recommend!
The best experience ever !!! The location is perfect! Simple but good breakfast, very clean, it is close to everything, just 20 minutes walking to Vatican. But what makes this a great hotel is really Mr. Domenico, this is far from a 5 star hotel but Mr Domenico makes it 6 stars. Everything thing you might need he is there to help you out. I will definitely stay again in this Hotel again. I saw some people complaining about noise, and others small little issues, for those people I recommend staying at home. And just to mention this Hotel has an attraction that no other has : Dona Marguerita. !!!
We enjoyed our stay and loved the tranquil beautiful location. Staff was really helpful and courteous. Florence is beautiful. Room allotted to us was very good.Breakfast was good and staff who attended us during breakfast was very active and cheerful lady.Suggest, Since many asians are visiting, if possible try to include some Asian dish in your breakfast menu.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel has an excellent location and a more than reasonable breakfast. Two minor problems: one has to leave ones key at the front desk when going out - fine. But it happened that one day I came back and there was no one in reception. I rang the bell but no one came. After a few minutes, I took the key to my room, went up, left there some items, came back down again - and still there was no one in reception. I put the key back in its place. There is no full length mirror in the room - a problem for the ladies.
