Hotel Chocolat in Liverpool

Fantastic service from AJ today. They really knew the products, I went in for one thing and came out with three and a whole heap more I want to try! They were friendly and gave outstanding customer service. Id have them on my team any day!

What a place, the shop was amazing, the drinks were lovely and the manager gave me a box of chocolates for my birthday, if you could rate 10/10 then it would have my vote.

They sell chocolate, a little on the expensive side, they also sell Nespresso type pods in patches of 60 when 10 would make sense. They also have various chocolate drinks for sale, the velvet which mixes the drinks is not cheap, the Nespresso barista is cheaper and does the same job.

The girls in liverpool are so friendly and helpful. They dealt so calmly with a particularly difficult customer who said her ice cream wasnt cold enough!! More patient than I would ever be!! They looked my card up so I could get the discount and were all round lovely. A credit to hotel chocolat 🥰

It should have been a special experience but was left underwhelmed . No ice cream or shakes were available ,the machine had broke ! No decaf tea ! Instead i was offered a take away cup of hot water and a friut teabag to dunk it in myself . . My 1st experience and also my last

Chocolate Mecca !! I always pay homage to Hotel on a visit to town, its the Law !! In between online ordering.Everything is divine, good for senses and the soul , we all deserve Hotel Chocolat, it should be prescribed by the NHS .

I’ve been here twice now. First time was just for the cafe and second time was for the actual shop. The assistants were so helpful with all of queries and only touched my guide dog after seeking my permission beforehand. Completely recommend this shop.

The staff here were so friendly and polite. I walked in and told them I had a train to catch but I really wanted their velvetiser. The staff member dropped what she was doing helped me pick one out, and chocolate, for me signed up to the app to save me money and I was done and out the door and at my train in plenty of time. Amazing service!Re the shop: I love that it has a separate cafe and shop section, I think it helps those browsing not to feel theyre in the way by a busy cafe queue.

First time weve been here. Was expecting a great mocha but was disappointed as it lacked any real flavour. We ordered cakes and no plates provided to eat off, just served on the tray. Doubt well go again

We visit this hotel chocolate shop at liverpool and we were not dissaponted. Shop was nice and clean , the smell of chocolate inside is amazing. We decided try hot chocolate and omg soo good! We had milky and salted caramel hot chocolate. The best hot chocolate we ever had. Large hot chocolate £3.95 each.

A bit on the expensive side but nice if you want to treat yourself.Options for various diets including vegan and lactose-free.Quite small, and I thought a little cramped so perhaps not great for accessibility, although it is ground floor with level access.

Called in this evening just before the store closed. Heather served me and was very pleasant and polite. We had a chat and she told me she had worked all day and had a long drive home. She mentioned the app to me and I got 15% off my first order. When she asked about my day, which wasnt great, she gave me a bar of chocolate to cheer me up. How kind.

As you might expect this place has an exceptional range of chocolates on offer. I have never failed to get what I need from this place. Yes, it is a little expensive but it isnt for everyday purchases I dont think. I can go to a supermarket for those.

Best Hot Chocolate in town. Was busy when we went in (Saturday 4.30pmbut the queue went down quick. Great chocolate. Highly recommend the flat white as well.

Spent a fortune in here and it was worth it brought our kids and a couple of friends some lovely chocolate from here! Well worth it even better than Thorntons.

Came in for the shakes. Ended up getting what looked like a 50p Yazoo as the ice cream and cream machine was broken - wasn’t told upon ordering and charged full whack still.Tables also not cleared and rather untidy. Shame as usually a nice experience in these cafes - won’t be returning anytime soon.

The shop is always a pleasure to be in! Displays always full and the staff are helpful. The menu has new items on it since I was last there. You can stay in the cafe or takeaway or have outside in the seated area.

Always go here for little chocolate gifts for our family and friends last time we visited we came out with a delicious ice cream ! Store could do with being bigger as often have to stand in a long queue .

Havent been since before Christmas when they didnt have much stock and I couldnt get what I wanted online either. Covid didnt help. However, store fully stocked now with helpful staff. Not forgetting delicious chocolate too.

Blood orange halloween hot chocolate was delicious. The addition of chocolate cream made it amazing!Salted caramel was also amazing.Highly recommend and will be returning

If you have been there yet, believe me you are missing too much. Hotel Chocolat is the perfect place to go to if you fancy a proper coffee. And yes, I mean PROPER coffee. My favourite is the Flat White. I am not exaggerating when I say I could not find nicer coffee elsewhere in Liverpool. You can enjoy your coffee outdoor which is a non-smoking area. The prices are really reasonable and the staff are very friendly.

Amazing cafe ❤️. The quality of service, drinks and dessert are so high that I have made it my plan to be my number 1 go to place for meeting up my friends 1 to 1. Its cosy and generally clean with cutely designed seating area. I would highly recommend taking a date here or just to catch up with a friend. I want to try and order EVERYTHING! 🤩🥰😍

This shop and cafe has recently had a makeover and the cafe area has more room now to enjoy your food and drink.I do like the coffee here and dont mind paying the higher prices as it is quality.Nice staff too and if you are lucky some days they give out free samples.

A lovely shop full of allsorts of goodies, very friendly and attentive staff, places to sit down and enjoy hot chocolate, tea, coffee and eats. Every product was far superior to that of vast majority of chocolate manufacturers and was very pleased to learn that they are British Cocoa Growers who have good ethical standards and have clear policies about the effects for future generations, well worth a visit whenever your in Liverpool or passing any of their other outlets

Staff were lovely. Coffee was a welcome break. Overall? No little nibble type biscuits to choose, cups without saucers, uncomfortable seating. It was ok but it could improve. Just treat it as a quick coffee and its ok. Nothing more or nothing less.

I have walked past this place for two years not knowing there was a cafe inside. A friend booked us a chocolate tasting experience here and it was incredible! Im now a fan of dark chocolate and only buy chocolate from here - its completely changed my chocoholic habits! Staff are so friendly and really know their stuff about the products and the mint hot chocolate is just about the most delicious thing in the world! Nom!

I don’t normally find myself writing reviews for companies however I feel compelled to write a great review about this little cafe. I came to this shop a couple of weeks ago, having heard great reviews from my friends. I was greeted and offered chocolates by a very smiling Jessica who made me feel very welcome and cared about. I picked some chocolates and went over to the cafe to choose a coffee. She helped me over to the seat as I have a walking disability. She ordered my drink for me and brought me it over. I have never had such personalised service in my life and I would just like to say a huge well done to her and the team. The flat white was also very tasty so great job to the cafe crew. 5* stars.

Not just one of their many stores but a much rarer beast - a hotel chocolat café. You really cant go wrong here if you are a chocolate lover.

This Hotel Chocolat has a little cafe with it. The wife and I were feeling quite cold so went in for a warming hot chocolate. I had a limited edition raspberry and white chocolate and she had a standard one. They both came with chocolate cream on and both were delicious. The raspberry bits on mine were fantastic. Would highly recommend you try out their hot chocolate lines.

I love their hazelnut hot chocolate but not the cacao black tea. It was too greasy.

Always visit on the expectation of samples being handed out. On this occasion, disappointed, but soon cheered up when I saw all the Easter chocolates reduced to about half price. Have a bottle of their Chocolate Gin at home. Fortunately my partner doesnt like it;-Managed to get out without succumbing to either one of their amazing chocolate drinks, or equally scrumptious ice-cream.

From all the places across the world this one has the best cocoa drinks ever. The one with salted caramel was simply amazing. About prices - yep, it is a bit pricey but the cups were huge and drinks were simply perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful.
