Basic but really all you need at the festival...

Bad wifi connection, no condocinier

Very charming soviet-feeling old hotel.Clean and reasonably comfortable as long as it’s not too hot (there is no ACand you don’t mind the world’s hardest mattress! It has great views of the city and is a wonderful example of old school brutalist gigantism. Restaurant is quite good and definitely one of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I’ve ever had! Chef’s kiss to whoever does the eggs, it’s not easy to make scrambled eggs by the hundred! Not rubbery at all, actually very delicious! I hear it will become a Clarion soon, so I am glad I got to stay here it it’s old-school glory. The staff is also very nice!

I stayed in this hotel for almost a week. It is located right across the main railway station in Hradec Kralove, and very near main bus station. The outside of the hotel does not look very promising, but the inside is okay. The rooms were fine and clean when we arrived. There was a hair drier, a soap and shampoo+shower gel in the bathroom. There is a Tv and a fridge in every room. Not all rooms have balcony, but even if they do, you cannot use it because of the pidgeons, who nested there. But, regardles, the view from the rooms is amazing.The food in the hotel is very tasty, and it is served as a buffet. For lunch and dinner you can choose between two main dishes.The stuff is very polite and helpful.

Being in Chernigov reminded me of the beautiful city of Kouvola. Just fantastic. The colour of the hotel was just awe inspiring and it made me feel great. 6/5 would recomend.

Looks like hotel has not been renovated since it was build. Windows, bathrooms nothing. No water pressure in shower. Even though check out is at 10am a cleaning lady stormed into my room without a knock yelling at her colleague: "Theyre still here!" then closed the door and left. Terrible.But at least there was a very helpful and kind receptionist in the lobby.Anyway this hotel? Nevermore. Thanks.

It was a nice stay in hotel cernigov. The room was tidy and the bed was comfortable. The furniture in the room was a bit outdated but it was okay. The view out of the 6th floor was nice.

A three star hotel after its best time. I had a small but functional bathroom. The view from the 6th floor was nice.Breakfast had everything. Fruits cereals and various breads/rolls.I enjoyed the impressions from the electric buses (video)

Very disappointing for the price we paid (€55 for 2 persons).Room was very shabby, shower was broken and breakfast very limited. Rooms are very old and need refurbishment.Though bedsheets were clean, mattress was heavily stained and had what seemed to be crumbs left over from a previous guest.Receptionists and restaurant staff were very nice, kind and helpful.Thankfully we had only booked for one night and we found a penzion just 3 minutes away (penzion MAR for just €35/nightwith a very clean and modern room. Price included a small kitchenette with kettle, microwave and fridge.

I was just in the lobby. The service and everything was perfect, just the hotel needs to be renovated. The bathroom in the lobby is not in a good shape. Just my opinion.

The hotel looks much much worse in real life than on photos which are probably really old or heavily photoshopped. Reviews on official website are fake. Cannot recommend.

I didint like it becouse there is no god wifi the TV is 30 years old the bedrooms are verry small

discussing, walls are moldy, you can’t go to the balcony, one window doesn’t open, not clean and it’s like from Soviet Union. WiFi is really bad.1 star is for the view.really disappointed

Hotel is expensive to its state - stained carpets, dirty room and bathroom, windows are not tight, old string matresses, poor wifi, even poorer tiny old TV. 80% down from the price would be adequate to the services provided.

Low standard to expensive. Not very friendly staff. If you are looking to stay in Hradec Králové I recommend staying somewhere else.

Would not recommend to stay here but there wouldnt be a lot of choice in this city. Finding it very hard to put 2 cases anywhere the rooms are that small. Not worth putting the t.v on its that bad. Reception big but the bar area was closed so couldnt get anything. The only plus was it is around the corner from a big shopping mall which has everything you need and opposite the train station.

very classy hotel. our room was clean and cozy. and the breakfast was tasty and substencial.

In the room is old and wear furniture, the house keepear is not doing weal its job, the wind is blowing true your window. Is good if you dont have other choice.

Just standart hotel opposite main railway station, close to mass tranzit terminal. Their service is average. There is a café inside and casino underground. There are couple of malls around, But is out from town centre, which is around 15-20 minutes of walk or 10 minutes by bus.

Nice place, very good & kind staffs, proper location, poor breakfast, not equipped room: no refrigerator, no hairdryer, no garbage, no cup, no tea maker, no brush & toothpaste, ...

Good location, acceptable pricing, very limited breakfast, slow elevator, but rents rooms for students.

Do not recommend, old, a bit stinky. Wifi only on corridors and close to reception. No fridge in the room.

Pokoje ve vyssich patrech (7-9jsou ok. Super vyhled na nadrazi. Rooms on upper floors (7-9are ok. Good thing is the view. Once you are in this hotel, its out of your site so you dont have to look at it :D

Old, dirty, windy, slow/not working WIFI, poor quality.

Couldnt close the windows properly (theres a massive gap that cant be fixed), so wind blew in all the time. Otherwise okay.

Worst Hotel which I have ever been. There is no service room, wifi is so slow, that it is not allowing to watch a movie. There is no ieon in the room, there is no cups in the room. Too much noise from other rooms.

I have been in this hotel for years and I am used to stay here. The beds are comfortable and the view is nice (I was on 7th floor), the staff is very nice and kind. The location is good, just in front of the train station.They could improve the quality of breakfast, add the hairdryer (you can get a little one at the receptionin the room and get some renovation.

I wouldnt stay here again. The room was very small. There was no way to keep the windows open. The room was bit rusty and not well maintained.

Old hotel. Need a renovation. Thin walls between the rooms allow to hear everything whats happening in the neighbour room and old windows help to hear a "heatbeat" of the city : But service at the reception desk is nice.

Was there when visiting the festival Brutal Assault. Its a descent hotel. A big surprise was the very nice breakfast buffet which exceeded my expectation. My only complaint was that Ive expected them to clean the room daily. The WiFi was also spotty at times but not a big issue. Will definitely stay there the next time I go to the festival.

I got a room on the 11th floor in a very poor condition. Stained carpets, windows that will not stay open, an old bathroom, a broken doorknob and an ant infestation. Who gets ants crawling all over their suitcase on the 11th floor?! The ants had to come from within the hotel. And all I brought with me was some medication for a sore throat.The elevator and the hallways are very dingy. If the hotel has many guests, there is a chance of no hot water. I only stayed in Cernigov because of a festival and I feel the price was too high for the poor conditions I got. I would never stay in Cernigov on any other occasion. Breakfast was ok. Very small plates though, as if they didnt want you to eat too much.
