Hotel Canada Palace Calafell in Calafell

Si no fuese por el personal del Hotel es para denunciar a sanidad ,habitación sucia al entrar y por mucho que he pedido que por favor la limpiaran ,me marcho 4 dias después y sigue sucia. He estado en much@s pensiones y hostales que le podían dar una lección a un hotel de 4 estrellas, en cuestiones de limpieza. No me explicó cómo tiene 4 estrellas ,es una verdadera vergüenza 😡, comida mala ,repetitiva y con poca calidad,

Hotel excelente. Desayuno bien, instalaciones cómodas y agradables. Bien situando y un plus que tienen es que aunque dejes la habitación a las 11 :00 puede utilizar las instalaciones hasta que te vayas.Hemos elegido solo desayuno y es variado para todos los gustos.Personal muy amable!

Hotel limpio y personal amable (en especial las chicas de recepción). Se encuentra bien situado, cerca de la estación y alejado del ambiente nocturno.La playa a 5 minutos andando. Las habitaciones son muy amplias con camas enormes y cómodas. Algunas de ellas disponen del baño reformado pero el mobiliario si bien es cierto que está muy anticuado y convendría una actualización.El desayuno es de calidad básica, y quizás se “masifica” un poco con colas… los pobres camareros no dan a basto y la reposición de la comida que se acaba tarda bastante.

El parking costaba 20€ un poco excesivo, se aprovechan de que no hay aparcamiento en los alrededores. El tren pasa justo por frente del hotel y a las 5:30 de la mañana empezaba el ruido. La limpieza deja mucho que desear y el hotel para 4 estrellas esta muy dejado. El desayuno patético, un día nos pusieron pan del día anterior porque se quedaron sin pan, el café asqueroso, el zumo es de agua con polvos, si lo llego a saber no me gasto el dinero en desayunar allí. Otro día nos fuimos por la mañana a dar una vuelta y cuando llegamos a mediodía la habitación no estaba hecha. Llegó a eso de las 14:30 a hacerla y ya le comenté que habíamos salido toda la mañana y claro una muchacha para todas las habitaciones de la planta.... En fin si algún día vuelvo a Calafell, tengo claro que allí no me alojaré en este hotel.

The rooms are like on the photos, have everything as for 3-4 stars hotel. The breakfast is of low quality - coffee, fresh, sausages, eggs - doesnt taste good

El bufete y el personal excelente, todos encantadores. En cuanto al hotel un poco anticuado y un baño diminuto. El pueblo tampoco ayuda mucho a la valoracion, está todo muy apretado te sientes como encerrado, muy difícil aparcar, muy sucio, la playa deja mucho que desear... pero bueno si la compañía es buena por lo menos, algo te llevas. Muchas gracias por la experiencia, ya sabemos donde no vamos a ir de vacaciones la próxima vez. Aún con todo había gente que parecía estar a gusto.

La habitación está muy bien ,tiene hasta nevera.La comida variada y rica.El personal amable y atento.Las instalaciones limpias y me gustó mucho todo.seguro q volveremos.

Our flight was canceled and Vueling airlines gave us one-night accommodation here with a meal. Its approx. 60 km away from Barcelona airport and take 60-70 minutes to reach here. This is a scenic road and driving was pleasant.The stay was good. The room was comparatively big with a huge balcony with a view of the pool. Ok American/Asian folks, in the whole of Europe, especially in Italy, you will find Bidet in the bathroom. A bidet is a specialized bathroom fixture for washing your undercarriage. Its the primary way that many people around the world clean themselves up after using the toilet. Yes like Asia, in Europe, they also prefer water. Not sure why they need extra fixtures for this.Though they provide the wifi it was not useful. I even complain but their logic was, there are so many customers, so that might be the case. Overall pool area-lounge- restaurant – all were excellent. Buffet provided by them was also good with plenty of options in entrée, dessert, and drinks. Would recommend this.Beach is just near to the hotel so I would suggest head for the beach in the early morning. It’s awesome.

The hotel is a little gem. The hotel and Calafell beach is beautiful and great for families. Our flight was cancelled and the airline lodged us at this lovely hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Maya (pardon the spelling if it’s incorrectwas a great hostess. They made a stressful situation manageable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast and lunch buffets were good. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean lovely rooms and nice staff. Childrens play area needs some serious tidying.

Great hotel staff are very nice food is great and fabulous tho, pool is freezing in the boiling Sun it would have been better if it was like cool not hypothermia type of waters and the food goes cold to quick but everything else is fab so defently visit this place

Theyre supposed to be accomodating for your dietary needs but they have little to no veggie options in the buffet. Frankly this is outraging

Nice hotel near the beach.

Good clean hotel reasonably priced right next to the train station. Handy for a day trip to Barcelona.

Its a nice hotel, if you just want to sleep ant swim in the swimming pool

4 stars hotel - are you kidding? This is not possible to happen in a 4 star hotel:- very uncomfortable beds (room 208)- humidity marks and mushrooms on the floor (see the photos)- bad calculation of the price to pay during the check-out : we passed later in order to get the right price of what we consumed- room just across the train station : a lot of noice during the day, impossible to sleep.- price of the hotel parking: 119e for a week while just across the hotel in the public parking area it coast 15e per week- the smell of the towels was very bad (like the old oil smell). We asked for another towels but it was the same so I assume that this is due to the product used for washing.

Large rooms, fully equiped. Good staff. Pool is also nice. Almost perfect location, only a beach view is missing. Buffet breakfast with dozens of meals, quantity over quality tho, on what concerns the food.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Location is perfectly, in few meters you can find pubs, discos, restaurants, beach...

Ok food, family and pet friendly. Nice beach, not too far away. Hotel staff are very friendly. Not very many facilities. The rooms are average and outdated. Free wifi but not very busy right now.

Very nice place to good conditions.

I was sent here by Easyjet after a cancelled flight and the service was pretty terrible. The receptionist tried to make those of us travelling alone share rooms (with total strangerseven though in the end there was space for us to have our own. Then the other receptionist was booking taxis back to the airport and claimed we would have to leave at 6am (for a 1pm flightas there were only 2 taxis in the town and too many of us to transport - she failed to mention the station across the road which easily gets you to the airport for only 5 Euros.

Good hotel, next to the beach. East to park the car in front of the station. Rooms were ok for the price and breakfast could be better. But in general nice hotel to stay and super nice staff.

Disapointing experience. Room was quite big, alsof the balcony and the bath room, but outdated. F.i. bath with Shower curtain. Balcony was at street site, very noisy and about 20 m from the busy railroad tot Barcelona.Breakfast room is unbelievebly noisy and cheerlessly. Also very illogical ordened.Pool area not clean.

Our room had comfy beds, shower, tub, TV a huge closet, balcony. The hotel has a nice pool, bar and restaurant. The buffet was really yummy and the staff is really friendly. A gereat place.

Amazing, fantastic food

Cooking is average at best, air condition off even though its +32C because "its not summer until tomorrow". Small pool, noisy at night, poor understanding of english. Not four star in my book but I guess they use their own, spanish scale.
