Adjacent to Highways 10, 15 and 20 in western Brossard, this chateau-style hotel is 11.7 km from downtown Montréal and 13.9 km from Aéroport Montréal Saint-Hubert Longueuil.Elegant rooms with traditional decor offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and iPod docks, as well as air-conditioning and minifridges. All suites add plush living areas and electric fireplaces, while some have kitchenettes or full kitchens.Continental breakfast is complimentary. There are 5 meeting rooms and on-site parking.
Room was spectacular, probably the nicest Ive ever stayed in. Spacious, very clean, and very quiet. Loved how it felt like staying in a nice old house rather than a hotel. The only con was that housekeeping woke us up shouting to each other in the hall multiple times.Otherwise excellent stay.
Pros- Great location;- Rooms are really nice;- Beautiful architecture for a 3 star hotel.Cons- Breakfast is included (which is good), but its pretty bland;- Noboby picks up the phone??? Called for hours with no answer!;- No room service and mini fridge in the room is empty (but there are machines outside). In the end, I think its a good deal for its $100-$150 price.
Stayed here for two nights. The positive: generously sized rooms, reasonably priced. Breakfast included. Staff generally wear masks. Conveniently located if you’re travelling to the South Shore or if you don’t need to cross the bridge during traffic hours. Plenty to do within short distance of the hotel including restaurants, shopping, cafes and more. Particularly excellent location for weekends and holidays.Negative: staff was in training, got assigned the wrong room at first. Everything took twice as long as the trainer on duty had to ask the person actually working there to redo everything she did. When I got to the actual room the mattress was worn out, the bed sheets didn’t fit, so you end up sleeping on an exposed mattress (told by management this is how they buy their bedding and that this is standardand there was mould on the shower head. Asked the hotel to correct these things but it turns out they don’t have enough housekeeping staff so housekeeping isn’t available after 2pm and neither is the manager, who comes in at 11pm for some reason.I spoke with a manager before checking out and he advised that they are not operating at full capacity due to the pandemic and that other hotels are closing because they can’t staff appropriately. I don’t have a basis for comparison but it looked like GMA is opening new hotels rather than closing them and that those that closed did so earlier in the pandemic rather than recently. Are these staffing issues or wage issues? He offered to upgrade me in my next stay. I haven’t made up my mind about whether to give them another try.
Beautiful hotel but avoid room 102. Immediately request to change or mention in special request. Alcohol vending machine right next to that room so all night you hear people there. And no carpets outside that room which is also connected to lobby so all morning you hear suitcases and room service carts rolling along. It is incredibly loud. Ruins the entire experience and not worth the cost simply because of that one room
I made the reservation and less than 24 hours I needed to cancel my trip because I got sick and the hotel was not helpful at all, did not refund the money and did not even issue a credit. BE CAREFUL when booking the hotel in the event that your plans changed or you get sick because they will not help you in any way. There are a lot of other hotels that allow you to cancel if it is within 24 of making the reservation, and some even the day of the check in if you let them know with enough time.
Paying upscale price for no service motel. They did not provide house keeping service. The price is upscale. Service is good, as when requested extra towel we got them right away. Location is fantastic only 15 mins from downtown Montreal. Breakfast is included in the price, its typical motel breakfast.
I dont normally leave negative reviews but must share this terrible experience.I booked this hotel two weeks before my stay. They gave me a room that was connected to the lobby (Room 102and I had zero sleep that night due to noise of people walking around, checking in/out and other lobby sound.I had to talk to three different employees before they changed my room for my other nights. How do you charge a full price for this room and expect the guest to sleep properly? For $200+ a night stay, I felt like I was sleeping on the street.
Montreal’s hotels are expensive, so I chose Brossard as a near neighbourhood just 15min to downtown Montreal. I spotted this hotel years ago as this has pretty attractive decor. However the hotel has gone through some wear and tear. My room was good but I don’t like the heavy duvet, very heavy though. Bathroom shower has inadequate water pressure. TV is refrained from external HDMI connection, not catching up to modern customers’ needs. This is a good hotel, but still need more improvements to maintain its superb quality.
Such a pleasant stay! We were on a road trip and stopped here along the way. The concierge was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is complimentary (photo included of seating area).Room was so clean and loved the decor. Was cozy and comfortable. We stayed at a few other hotels on our road trip, and this by far, was the best experience!
I love this place but...Dont let them give you room 102.Youll sleep hearing the front desk music and the loud refrigerator.Every vending machine and to the food area. In the morning youll hear everybodys rolling luggage roll in front of your door on a hard floor. All other room are behind a closed corridor door. The bed and and the room is perfect but the location makes it the worst room.I needed a good sleep and I found even more tired.
The hotel has a beautiful exterior, and a very presentable lobby. It has the feel of a charming, older hotel while being a newer construction. The rooms are very nice, and the showers are amazing! The breakfast area is newly renovated, with a spacious addition (and a "sunroom" feeland is a major upgrade over the previous breakfast space.
