Hotel Brioni in Ostrava

Noisy, lots of nightclub noise till 3 am. Old rooms, bad pillows, poor breakfast. I have stayed in many hotels in many countries. This hotel is in no way 4*. Maybe 2. The 4 star certificate expired in 2020 and does not seem to have been renewed.

Hotel is a SCAM with terrible service small and old (not in a good wayrooms. No air-conditioning and Hot water not working!!!

Very nice authentic place. You feel the past here, especially in a big suite and at the bar. In the room you have spacious marble bathroom, great design, electric kettle. The great drawbacks were creaky floor and bed..breakfast was very poor, didn’t enjoy at all. Overall, nice place. Welcoming English speaking staff. Kid friendly (baby cot, high chair, changing table available, upper floors easily accessible by elevator). Spacious parking.

They´re getting one star, cause it´s christmas. And three wise old Kings once stalked a little baby child. But beside this ...- tiny, expensive room with thin walls- very cold- super small bathroom with mushrooms and a loose handle- bad breakfast- no servicethe only reason why i can think of giving them more stars would be in summer, the location is supreme and it´s their one and only asset.

nice place to stay even 1 night,middle of "bar street" Stodolni but almost quite in the room, historical building but clean and strong atmosphere. 5 minutes from the international train stop,near the centre.

I didn’t end up staying - trying to get back on schedule for road trip - but the young lady and man gave me lots of tips about things to visit in city. really nice area, super clean and a lot to do… without the crazy tourist crowds!

Really nice old style hotel in Ostrava! Even though there is Covid-19 i felt very welcomed and everything has been taken care of. Suites are very nice equiped. Thanks to the staff for handling our stay

Their webpage didnt work for booking a room, therefore I called them.The lady at the reception told me to send an email, I sent the email and they never replied to it.I contacted them on FB and even there no reply.Maybe during this period they have too many guests and they dont have time for some potential new customers.

After Corona I was a bit worried. But the staff and owner do their best to restart. Heavenly breakfast with French cheeses, excellent service and Stadolni begins to wake up, too.

Nice, cultural, cold and old building. 3 star hotel, not 4 in my eyes. In the middle of a bar street whish is nice. Breakfast is okay, depending on the time you arrive there. You might risk not finding any food, but you can ask. Dry bread, so it must be toasted. All Tv channels in Czech, polish and Austrian. So the two tvs in my room were a waste. Nice people working there. I enjoyd my stay there, but there was so much to point out that i cannot give more than 3 stars.

Hotel is located in the centre of Ostrava. It is wonderful place when you would like to sightseeing, clubbing or walking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are in very good condition. Breakfast tasty. I can recommend this hotel as very proper place to stay in Ostrava for private and business purposes.

Recently returned from another excellent holiday in Prague. The owners made our stay an absolute pleasure from arrival to departure. Nothing was too much trouble, everywhere is kept very clean and tidy. I stay at boutique hotels whenever I can and this one is a gem.

the room is smoked, the smell is appropriate, she let the child play on the floor and in five minutes his clothes were covered in dust. Very noisy at night, a lot of Ukrainians with booze and songs. The staff is inactive. In the Czech Republic and so the service is not very, but this is too much.

The hotel is perfect! Last year we have visited the city and stayed for three nights in Brioni. People are very polite and competent, all our requests and needs were respected, thank you for that. Delicious food, good location. For sure I will recommend this hotel.

A great cozy hotel in the city center. Russians underestimate the hotels rating by supporting the host of the international position "Crimea is Ukraine". Russia destroys everything. This hotel and your rest should not be destroyed by someones imperialist aggressive desires.

Great place! Do not read messages from Russians. They give low ratings only because of the principal position of the owner about the Crimea. Crimea is Ukraine!

The worst experience ever. Dirty, noisy, stinky and unprofessional. Witnessed stuff rudeness and unacceptable treatment towards some guests from another countries by the hotel manager! Felt ourselves very unsafe ang psychologically uncomfortable staying at this hotel afterwards. Our trip was prolonged, but we decided to move to another hotel immediately. Not recommend this place to anyone.

I’m american and I was looking for hotel without russians in Czech Republic. After reading all good reviews from Ukraine I decided to stay at this beautiful place and I’m really happy with my choice. I haven’t seen any pig-dog here during my holidays. Thank you for such a good service, my good mood and safety! I’ll be back for sure.

The best relation of price, comfort and level of service. Especially the personal is really extremely friendly and helpful. In addittion I simply love what I found there that its a local star, because they have own rule and dont accept russians supporters of Putler and support democracy, US and Ukraine. Full respect for owners! The room was cozy and sauna is simply perfect! Id like to stay there every next time I visit Ostrava and highly recommend the hotel.

For a 4* hotel, the staff is surprisingly rude and unprofessional. Upon check-in at night, the lady at the reception greeted us with a look that said "go-away" and proceeded to silence us whenever we wanted to ask a question.After a bad check in experience, we found that our room doesnt have WiFi signal.In the morning, while checking out with someone else who was nice and polite, and when we wanted to pay we were told that the lady already charged our credit card at night. The invoice was incorrect buy luckily the amount was correct.Overall, we received a roadside motel service from supposedly 4 star hotel.

Really nice hotel with nice receptionist. The room was clean and calm. The breakfast was not so perfect, but good enough.I am giving 3 stars not 5 because of one situation. I left my shoes there. After coming home I called to the hotel and they told me will call you back and never did it. Thats not how it supposed to looks like.

Rooms are very nicely maintained. Breakfast is complementary. They serve with veg and non veg breakfast. It is functioning in the family location called Studolini which is famous for drinks. Nice place to stay.

Thin walls between hotel rooms so you can hear everything through the wall and also pretty noisy outside at night. If you dont want to smell like vanilla/coconut bring your own towels. Oh, and the minibar in your room is not included, you will be charged extra at the end of your stay!

The hotel from the inside is looking okay, sauna was great, room clean and cozy... But the noise at night.. The hotel is on the busiest street at night in Ostrava, close to everything, but you wont be able to sleep there without earplugs. I asked a receptionist about these, but he said he was new and he didnt know where to get them from. People are speaking in English on a communicative level, dont expect fluency though. Breakfasts were okay, nothing worth mentioning though. Friend of mine received totally different room from what he ordered, got pretty pissed off about it, hotel changed the room for him, but still to not the one he wanted. I was lucky, I guess, because I got what I booked. Overall, okay place to stay at most. I would not recommend though.

Eccentric hotel that in the end really met all our needs. Bedding, mini bar, air con, breakfast, all great. Beware though hotel is in main restaurant/bar street and is noisy...but I liked atmosphere.

Classic czech regional hotel. First room I was offered smelled with some kind of mold. When I asked to change the room, a guy reception was not polite but finally Ive got the room that was a little bit better. Though recently renovated, they did not do a good job. Breakfast is ok. I dont recommend to stay there, though I doubt you can find anything better in Ostrava and around.
