Via Luigi Carlo Farini, 2, 50121 Firenze FI, Italy, Florence
This understated hotel is a 12-minute walk from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, and a 14-minute walk from both Piazza della Signoria and the 13th-century Palazzo Vecchio.Featuring wood or carpeted floors, the unassuming rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, as well as safes and en suite bathrooms. Some have sitting areas, 4-poster beds, terraces and/or whirlpool tubs.Breakfast is complimentary. There's also a restaurant and a bar. An airport shuttle and parking are available.
Very friendly staff, but the place needs a bit of investment in its infrastructure. Very good location!
The hotel is just a few minutes from the centre of this beautiful city by walk. The staff were such welcoming and friendly that I really felt I was staying in my own neighborhood. I told them about a problem with my shower head and it was changed in 5 minutes. The room was very clean and well equipped with AC system.I will definitely visit Florence again one day and Hotel Arizona will be the hotel I stay at.
Stayed July 4th week, one of the hottest weeks of the year, but the room air conditioning worked very well. Rooms are average of a European hotel with comfortable bed and small bathroom. There is a elevator/lift, but only large enough for 2 people and luggage. The greatest part of this hotel is the location AND the staff. Location is within walking distance of everything, but far enough away from the touristy areas to not have the crowds. The front office staff (family businesswas wonderful offering places to eat, places to visit, assisting with taxis, and all around great service. I would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a vacation stay.
The staff was really nice and also the service. The room was clean, but very small for 4 people.
This is not a 4.2 worthy hotel. That said, the staff was very friendly, helpful and understanding. They have beds, bathrooms and doors but do not think that you are stepping into a dreamy Florence hotel experience. We prefer rooms that are a bit more up to date, smell fresh, do not have pink or dark residue on the base of the shower door, or peeling wall paper. This is a good low budget option for those that need a roof over their head in Florence.
A family business run by beautiful, genuinely nice people. When the city restaurants spoiled our mood by overcharging us, coming back to the hotel and the nice interactions cheered us up every time.Good breakfast and amazing coffee (there are three kinds, two are self-serve - make sure to ask the staff for the third kind and you will be charmed).Quiet neighborhood.
To expensive for the quality of the room. It was super hot, and the carpet had a dirty appearance. However, the location and the service was really good
Very nice hotel and location, next to the beautiful and one of biggest Jewish Synagogue in Europe. A very big thanks to Elton, he was so kind and help us a lot because of some medical emergency. ❤️
I go back, very willingly and often. The room with the frescoed ceiling, that I regularly request, comforts my spirit. Fair supply and price ratio.
I stayed 3 nights at this hotel, the food is outstanding, the staff was very helpful.
Rooms are small but VERY friendly staff. Excellent breakfast spread.
The hotel room was tiny, small bathroom and lots of noise at night, woke up late at night a few times because of the noise outside. Staff, breakfast, and location were good but this hotel is pretty far from SNM train station, couldnt walk and had to take a taxi. Also, there is an extra ridiculous charge if you ask the hotel to call for a taxi.
This Hotel is an absolute joke. This hotel is tucked away nearly 45 minutes from the tram or central station. The area seems rather unsafe at night and the hotel was extremely filthy. The bathrooms are extremely tiny. You can barely shower properly given the close quarters to the walls and rolling closure. This hotel is not properly rated. In addition, they charged extremely high taxes for one stay. Stay away! The rooms are dark, gloomy and rather poorly maintained. The room has a 13 inch tv which can barely be seen from bed.
This hotel is so underrated! Its within walking distance from the center of Florence and the owners and staff are so nice. We stayed in a room that came with a roof balcony and it was the most magical view. Request it if possible. The breakfast was one of the best I had while in Italy. I will stay here every time I visit Florence if possible. Loved it.
Amazing experience. Was here August 2018 by far best customer service. They treat you like family.
It was a joy to stay at, nothing was too much trouble to do for the comfort & ease of the customer, thank you all for a very stress free stay. Lucy
Amazing place to stay in Florence! Book a room here and these guys will take great care of you.
Nice, clean, good sized rooms with super nice and friendly staff. Comfy beds, warm good shower. The owner made our stay extra wonderful with his suggestions, answers to our questions, and sincerity. The lady working breakfast was also so nice. Breakfast was included in our booking and is highly recommended. A variety of fresh croissants, yogurt, eggs, fresh fruit, cereal, fresh espresso and coffee. Hotel is also easy to get to from the train station with the #6 bus. Neighborhood is safe and away from the touristy area but only a 15 min walk.Tip: 15% off at the hotel across the street for staying at this hotel. Highly recommend that place, Ristorante Sant Ambroggio, for an amazing, elevated but reasonably priced Italian meal with equally superb service.
The Arizona is in a convenient part of Florence within walking distance to Duomo and other attractions. Not too far to bus stops
It is a 2.5 star hotel, but the staff made me feel like Im in a 5 star hotel. I love the staff of this hotel. They go out of the way to fulfill guest requests.
This place was great, free breakfast every morning and right in the heart of the city, walking distance to everything. Room #42 had an amazing private rooftop balcony overlooking all of Florence which was a very pleasant surprise!
Nice little hotel walking distance to the major sites and the train station. Also some amazing food is very near by. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was great.
We had our own rooftop terrace overlooking the city, it was so beautiful. We love Florence!
Cute, older hotel. Good service and friendly staff. Rooms are not as clean as expected and smell very heavily of smoke, at least ours did. Bathroom was extremely small, with two plumbing pieces not working.
small bathroom. The personnel were ship helpful and friendly. Were dogs not like our first room, pretty thin down and they wre do accomadating and changed our room without and problems.
Very friendly staffs, very comfortable and clean room. I like their breakfast buffet , which has lots of variety of food. Location is good, and I walked to most of the attractions.
An incredibly poorly maintained "3 star hotel" smelling of bug spray, filled with stains, peeling wallpaper, dirt filled carpets, and incredibly outdated facilities. The hotel fails to live up to three star standards and if you unknowingly prebook the hotel based on the reviews you wont get your money back.
Booked the 3 bedroom apartment with a group of friends. The place looked just like in the pictures, big rooms. The 3 bathrooms and the interior private garden were a big plus. Good location, close to center. Their garrage was pretty small, we left the keys to the cars when we left so they could move the cars if they needed to. You have to pay extra to park the car.
This was pretty easily our favorite hotel (out of 5we stayed at on our Europe vacation. The breakfast was decent, with some actual protein, and theyll actually make you cappuccinos which was pretty awesome. They had A/C, and a pretty nice room. The bed was alright, and the room had 4 pillows which was extra nice. The hotel is a pretty close walk to everything. Another major plus was that this hotel actually had good WiFi. It was consistent (for the most partand pretty fast. I definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance.
Had a great stay here! Close to reasurants and shopping. Rooms were clean and nice. Staff was friendly and made delicious cappuccinos with breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.
Loved this hotel. So glad it had air conditioning after being out in the sun all day. Excellent breakfast. They will make an espresso or cappuccino. Excellent desk help. One small complaint but is rather charming too is the key to the room. Its cute but very heavy. Had to leave it at the desk while we were away during the day. Highly recommend.
Good rooms + service. Wish the AC was a bit stronger but no real complaints.
The hotel staff was so nice. The owners Mama was the sweetest lady ever and even though she did not speak English, she went out of her way to do sweet things for us and make us awesome capucchinos. Breakfast was great also. Hotel is next to one of the oldest Synagogues in Europe. Also, the restaurant across from the hotel had the best food of my entire trip to Italy. Same owners.
יתרון גדול, הקירבה למסעדת רות הכשרה ולבית הכנסת.(-)The hotel is not kosher, the rooms are outdated and poorly maintained, we got a room with a blockage in the shower, the food is not kosher, I warn again, the food is not kosher, serve yellow cheese and slices of sausage in the same dishes. The staff is nice and sympathetic.A great advantage is the proximity to the kosher Ruth restaurant and the synagogue.
We had a lovely experience at Hotel Arizona. It is a small, family-run affair, run by the same family as the restaurant across the street. Breakfast was great - quiet area, fresh food, and friendly Italian mom who took orders for espresso drinks. Our room was clean, in good repair, and quiet. Certainly recommended for a stay in Florence! About 15 min walk from most things, 25 from the train station.
Had a wonderful stay. Family run and very accommodating staff.
If youre looking for the most humble hearts of gold from Florence - you will find them at Hotel Arizona & Kometa Suites. Thank you for making our honeymoon memories so special!
I liked this hotel. Staff was so friendly and helpful, it made it that much nicer. There were no frills, but the rooms were clean. I think I would want to stay a little closer to town center next time, but it was walkable distance.
a really likeable a really likeable a really likeable a really likeable a really likeable a really likeable a really likeable a really likeable a really good time for a year or two weeks ago but a lot tho the weather was good ahaha the best man I have been in the world and I have am I your time with you people are getting free self promotion and marketing of the sky is blue knobs for the weak and he is not a week ago but a lot of Minecraft Xbox and Google you could ever be a good job of keeping me in spectator modr I am not sure how to help you to wake him up on my way better than Griffin and he is a music captain we are going to do it tomorrow you will not work out of your snap of the sky
Great Wi-Fi, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast. Theres an elevator, which my travel companion loved, and also wide stairs for those who arent too tired from traipsing around the city. You get a discount at the restaurant across the street just for staying, but Id recommend finding the more hole-in-wall eateries throughout the city instead. Youre within 15 minutes walk of most attractions in the city. The quiet sounds of life going on outside the window made for a wonderful soundtrack for an afternoon nap, or even a full nights sleep. They also offer a laundry service and have a comfortable lounge.
Definitely and excellent place to stay. 24/7 reception. Family owned business and they are extremely professional and helpful. The hotel it’s 10 minutes from El Duomo. Elton I am really thankful for everything you did when we got there super late at night after leaving from the other hotel we were staying at. This should be a 5 star hotel and we definitely recommend it.
The best value for money, close to the centre, staff are amazing literally bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The restaurant across the road is possibly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had.
The hotel is very well located, with a professional staff, helpfull . The hotel has is own garage what is vey unique in the hart of the old city .
The staff were very friendly and quick to help. The rooms were nice. They are small compared to American hotels, but that seems to be the standard here. There were a few negatives, like a leaky toilet and burnt out light bulbs in the bathroom (which they changed the same day we mentioned them), but overall we really enjoyed our stay there. The buffet breakfast was good also. I would stay here again.
The hotel is close enough to the centre to see all the sites on foot, and is in a relatively quit area. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming
I have stayed in this family-owned hotel for 4 years with my students on our study abroad experience. You will find no kinder hotel owners and employees. They are consistently helpful and willing to answer a million questions. The location is perfect for walking to all of the city attractions. Breakfast is included and the gathering room is comfy and welcoming. We will return again and again!
Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Room was tiny, but we just used it to sleep
Starting off with the positives. The breakfast was good, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location was wonderful. The small cons: the room was small and hot. However, my wife and I left the hotel after three nights with bug bites all over our body and there was a bed bug trap under the bed.
Very nice staff who speaks very good English. Family owned. The location is great and I would love to stay here again.
Excellent room! If you book try to get room 42 (nice terrace on the roof and it looks like the only one!Very clean and the staff was extremely nice. Breakfast in the Dining hall every morning. Would definitely stay again! Its about a 20-25 min walk from the train station.
