Hotel Anacapri in Granada
Description
Do not stay here! We left our luggage with the front desk and once we left and arrived in a different city, I noticed clothes were missing from my bag. Upon noticing, the rest of my family checked their bags and realized that money was stolen as well. We called and we were told to wait to call back again… They were very short with us on the phone and say we contradict ourselves in the other review?? Please… nobody cares about claiming insurance from your establishment! We took a multiple week vacation around Spain. I assure you we do not need any money from you. We have no way to even get anything back if it was stolen, we aren’t even in Spain anymore! If you have proof nothing happened, then send us the footage! We would love to be proven wrong so that we can find who is responsible. Very, very shady. Trying to make us out to be trying to extort you? Are you serious? Threatening us with “making a false claim is a serious crime in Spain”. Absolutely hilarious. Once again, please give us any substantial form of proof other than your word, which means absolutely nothing to us.
More**DO NOT STAY HERE** Appears to be a nice hotel but unfortunately valuables were stolen out of all of my family’s luggage when we left it securely behind the front desk. The staff are thieves!! Have reported to the police.
MoreWe stayed for two nights at Anacapri during our roadtrip through Andalusia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We received a very warm welcome and the front desk lady had a lot of tips for activities, food and how to get around the city. Facilities were good. We had a simple room, but it was clean and nice. The hotel is located in the middle of the city, which is also very nice.Only two little things that were less than ideal: the airconditioning in our room was a bit noisy sometimes (but not so much that it kept us awake). Oh and the hotel is a little hard to reach by car. Its better to just navigate to San Augustin Parking and walk about 5 minutes to the hotel. It has special arrangement to park the car a little cheaper there. And it saves you a lot of fuss and potential traffic tickets.Houdoe! - bye in Eindhovens ;)Lonneke & Claudia
MoreNice hotel, good location
Great value & wonderful experience! Very good location, clean and renovated, very comfy, nice breakfast and friendly and professional staff, will go back for sure!
MoreStayed for 4 nights in this hotel. Perfect spot for our stay as everything was within 1 mile radius. The rooms were reasonably priced considering that they are in a very central spot. Rooms are decent sized as well as the bathroom. Overall I highly recommend this hotel especially if you plan on bar hopping in Granada.
MoreBeautiful hotel very close to the Cathedral of Granada. I took 2 stars for location though in the city center, it took us 1 hour to go around trying to find the hotel. We had to call them to guide us. GPS couldnt get us there. We probably got a few tickets because traffic is restricted or not allowed in many streets. Been a turist from U.S. I will not recomend to drive in the center of the city.
MorePerfectly located. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The room we had was a bit small but since we didnt spend that much time in our room it is not a problem ! Well equipped and really cozy hotel.A bit of the noise from outside (either from the street and the corridornothing that earplugs can solve.I recommend !
MoreLocation was ideal. Your close to the Alhambra, shopping, great food, the river, and the Albaicin. The breakfast was a little lackluster. Overall, a great and safe feeling hotel.
MoreNice, clean and cosy roomsSuper friendly staff and Great location
Welcoming and clean hotel right in the centre of all the culture and food you could want
MoreReally good location, its a really short walk to get anywhere. Beds were very comfy and soft. The bathroom was spacious and modern. Wifi was fast and service was very friendly. Overall we are happy with our stay and this hotel was very good value.
MoreVery nice. Central ideal. Nice clean rooms.
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, feels like an inn. Nice family room for 4 w double bed and two single beds in loft.Beautiful. Common sitting area leading to the cafeteria which opens at 730 so if you have an 8 am ticket to Alhambra, make sure you have a plan for breakfast. At the bottom of Alaicyn neighborhood which is beautiful.Right behind the cathedral as well and 750m from Alhambra.
MoreThe hotel was inexpensive and well located. But kindness was very low.Because of the flight time, breakfast was not right, so I asked for simple bread and jam, but they said they couldnt do it because they had to bake it in the oven. And they brought a basket full of hot bread that morning, so I tried to take it and they gave me the bread left yesterday.I think its an action I dont understand even now.
MoreStuff is very welcome and location is absolutely great. That being said, rooms are small , simple and not so user friendly.
MoreAmazing hotel, the hall is absolutely stunning!!!All the staff is nice, friendly and always happy to help clients with info and tips about Granada. Our double room was a little small, but clean and filled with all what we needed. It’s located in a lively area, close to bars and restaurants.
MoreCosy hotel. Beeakfast area is nice. Rooms are clean and cosy. Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent location with everything around: buses, taxis, cafes & restaurants. Walking distance from AlHambra.
MoreLoved the reception, the hotel and the location. You can go anyware in town without touching your car.
MoreIt could be great if...Nice, clean and great environment. This hotel has personality and the combination of price/location could probably not be better, but they gave us a room where the internet didnt reach. They recommended going to the bar behind the building, getting the password and see if we could catch the signal from our room... Really?I saw guests pacing the halls for a signal. The only decent one was at the lobby. You may say you do not go to Granada for Wi-Fi, and you would be right, but then do not advertise as available on room.
MoreIf not because the location, the credit would even lower. The one-way Street traffic system is absolutely crazy. Without guideline the new comers have definitely hard time to find out the way to access to the entrance. More worst followed by the the noisy! No acoustic isolation, no matter walls or floors, I barely had any sleep in two nights, because I could heard clearly my neighbors actions, no matter in the hallway or in the bathrooms, including upstairs. Poor!
MoreNice hotel and welcoming staff. Rooms are a little tight for bigger and taller people. But for the price and location, a great value.
MoreFairly comfortable. Single rooms a bit cramped. No bar. No restaurant. Breakfast basic but adequate. My room was a little noisy at night. Efficient reception.
MoreLovely place to stay, rooms were very nice and clean. Cathy at the front desk was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with planning our itinerary. Great location and very reasonably priced.
MoreLove the this hotel. The bathrooms are spacious. Rooms have safes, hangers, tv and elevator. No restaurant, but they have a decent continental breakfast.
MoreWhile the front desk people were cheerful and helpful, and the location extremely convenient, this was a terrible hotel. Certainly not 3 star. The bathrooms were not entirely clean. Our shower and toilet were both defective.I dont really care usually but the bathroom amenities were in packets one would expect at a roadside motel. The pillows were oddly shaped, hard and uncomfortable. No choice was available. The ice machine was "broken".The wifi was not useable. Practically non existant.Breakfast was meager and not good quality. We enjoyed the sites in Grenada and were grateful for a place to stay. But this hotel is not what it claims.I am writing this from our final for the trip 3 star hotel in Malaga with an adorable bow on its tissue box, real tiny bottles of toiletries, great wifi and comfortable pillows.
MoreNice clean modern room, small but who wants to be in the room? Right in the edge of the old town. Loads of restaurants and Tapas bars within a few minutes walk.
MoreThe hotel is perfectly located for all of the major attractions in Grenada, less than a kilometer to the Alhambra and only a couple of blocks to the cathedral, the souk, and a ton of great restaurants. The rooms are fair sized, but the bed takes up a lot of the floor area. The beds are fairly comfortable, and the pillows are memory foam, which was a surprising touch. The breakfast is very simple, meats, cheeses, and rolls, but its a fairly typical continental breakfast. The bathrooms are reasonable, but the tub is rather small. The biggest drawbacks are there are no views other than of the buildings on the other sides of the very narrow streets, and the fact that there is really accommodation for the disabled, as every part of the hotel has at least a few steps to access, including the elevator to the rooms.
MoreLovely central location with very nice lobby and very friendly staff. Daytime desk attendants generally speak English, but not the night attendant.
MoreVery helpful reception staff. Perfect City Center location. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean but tiny spaces. Breakfast is fair.
MoreNice location and reception is very friendly. There are free wifi but the speed is awful. There wasnt a fridge in my room and I would like to have a extra power plug next to my bed.
MoreVery noisy place, its imposible to have a good night sleep. Room doors close with a loud bang. Our door had 1/4 of an inch space around and we could see the hallway lighting from our room. Street is very noisy at night. Hotel staff are grouchy. I wouldnt recommend this hotel at all.
MoreNice hotel in City center. Didnt like the pillows and bed was a bit hard. Staff was great.
MoreWe were very grateful to check in early. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were good enough. Id stay here again everything was fine.
MoreLocation is great. Small, clean comfortable rooms. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff. Breakfasts are (or can beprovided with the room, but are extra if you book through a 3rd party site. Across the street there are some great food stores here so that you can pick up a meal for later - a fruit store, a place to buy jamon and a wonderful bakery (along with breads and Spanish pastries, her Moroccan pastries are wonderful)
MoreLovely atmospheric hotel. Lovely staff. Rooms very comfortable and decent size. Warm and cosy but cool in summer.
MoreNice beautiful small hotel. Located in city center. Hop on hop off stop is 2 mins walking from hotel. There are lot of cafes near hotel.
MoreGreat staff great little Hotel. Pretty much central to everything in Granada. Breakfast for 13euros is a great price for what youre getting
MoreVery good hotel. Central, great service. Definitely will come back if Im in Granada!
MoreSmall comfortable room. Nice bathroom. Great location. Very slow WiFi.
Decent hotel, very good location. The hotel itself is cozy. The room was average, with thin walls which you can hear your neighbours or people talking in corridor. Front desk service was good.
MoreThe location is very good and staff friendly but there are discrepancies between room photos/facilities and actual room. Cannot connect to wifi, smelly room, requested a double bed and got approved but they will gave us two single beds.
MoreAnacapri is a beautiful hotel which is situated in the perfect part of the city, it is within walking distance of great restaurants and amazing sights.
Morevery ok for the price. the location is awesome for getting to alhambra and albaycin. the hotel people were very friendly and helped us a HUGE deal proactively with info about touristic spots.
MoreNice rooms, huge tub, incredibly accommodating staff, amazing breakfasts. Unfortunately, inconsistent wifi.
MoreGreat location for visitors to Granada, particularly the Alhambra. Everything you would expect from a good quality hotel at a much less expensive price. Staff all very helpful and friendly.
MoreVery minimal but clean. Comfortable bed. Very small bathroom, probably it will be impossible for a overweight person to get into a shower.
MoreThis location was the best from all of my Spain trip in Aug. 2016.Best location, just opposite the Cathedral bus stop (from the bus stationand on the way back, its just right there, about 100metre from the alley. Its also near the Alhambra bus stop too. Food were all around. The room was big (for meand clean. The room was clean and the hotel was lovely.
MoreGreat location next to the cathedral and around the corner from a bus stop that takes you to Alhambra. We got a triple that was not too large but not too small. Room had AC and a large clean bathroom with adequate room service. Beds werent the best, but I didnt mind. Breakfast buffet was pastries ham and cheese, and freshly prepared. Perfect for staying for a couple nights as a traveler.
MoreThe staff are very friendly and its central location with respect to Albaicin is a plus, but it was all overwhelmed by two downsides: (1It took us over an hour of driving around the city centre with the so-called "aid" of our satnav and a map trying to find access to it. Every time we got close, there was a no-entry or one-way street which meant we couldnt actually reach it. In the end we parked about 20 minutes away and walked into it. Ridiculous. (2The room was very noisy. The bed squeaked; we could hear the people talking in adjoining rooms; and could hear cisterns flushing for what seemed like miles around.Weve stayed in worse, but will not be using this one again.
