Hotel Agualcas in Managua

Muy tranquilo , apesar de encontrase en la línea de vuelo del aeropuerto !

If you like to be bothered with indecent loud music that wouldnt let you rest in your almost a 100 dollars per night room, this is the place to be at. Customer service is horrendous. You call the reception to ask that they top bothering you, and the music goes louder. It is unbelievable how impossible it is to rest in this place. Dont believe the advertisement, you will be surprised the wrong way if you make the wrong decision of coming here. The place is well taken care of and clean, but the management is horrendous, just dont care for you whatsoever.

El El cuarto muy pequeño#106 para 2 personas, el baño es más pequeño e incómodo,No tienen tohallas facialesSolo te dan shampoo que cuesta mucho sacarloNo hay acondicionadorLámpara hay que desconectar porque no tienen manesillaEs incómodo salir y cruzar para los cuartos de enfrente porque es parqueo , tenés que dar la vuelta entera, se escucha cada vez que salen y entranY cuando encienden motores.No es buen servicio en recepción porque tardan 3 días en llegar a repararLa comida si es buena pero no dejaron que llevara a la recámara un platito con unos pedazos de sandíaNO LO RECOMIENDO

Los sillones que estan a la orilla se la piscina están súper revolcados polvorosa sucios .no los limpian o lavan

Open Pool event during holy week..It was too crowded, the waiters were so impolite you call them and they ignore you, when bringing the orders they talk in a very rude tone of voice. The food was very regular for that kind of hotel and the pool was dirty by the time we got there "noon" 12pm, you can imagine how it got later on.

Nice spot in the heart of Managua.Clean, nice pool with a pool side bar, pool chairs to chill on. The pool is like an oasis, easily forget you are surrounded by all the city chaos. Room was clean with comfy bed and nice baño. The occasional passenger jet does fly over quite low on approach, its loud but infrequent, and makes for a cool photo from the pool

This is my go to hotel for the past 3 years! The service is great, the staff is super friendly and helpful. We are used to traveling and this hotel offers great amenities for the price. We always book 3 suites and every time each one is perfect. The restaurant offers great food, the pool is a hidden paradise thats great for relaxing and drinking. Definitely rivals the major known hotels in the area.

This is a class hotel..I would rate it at least at four stars. Right near the Managuan airport, its modern decor, spotless presentation, scummy hot breakfast and friendly staff put in a class way above anything nearby.Gracias Agualcas persona..queremos necesita regressa rapido🤗🤗

Not one of the best choise, a bit expensive, I was given a price over the phone, once I got to the Hotel they charged me more than was I told.

We stayed in Hotel Agualcas on November 1st. This is a beautiful hotel. They have a bar next to the pool and comfortable chairs to relax in outside. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. And they served me the best complimentary breakfast I ever ate! You get to pick a hot meal from their menu in the restaurant. I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

This is my favorite place to stay in Managua. The food is good, the pool is great and the staff is awesome. The only setback would be the planes that fly over late at night might wake you up. OVERALL GREAT!!!

Relaxing environment and friendly/helpful staff.

Great new hotel. Very accommodating and friendly staff. My room was a bit small. The pool bar only opens from Thursday to Sunday. Free airport shuttles. Awesome restaurant, very affordable prices.

I loved this hotel, rooms very clean, well conditionet. They should improve the costumer service a little bit more.

Super clean, amazing food!!

Everything about this hotel was superb from the staff, food, amenities, transportation to the cleanliness of the environment. However, the hotel is located about 5 minutes from the airport so you do hear and see the planes during take off. This didnt bother me much because I was still able to sleep during the night. Just thought I add it on so its no surprise to anyone. 😊 Ill definitely lodge here during my next visit to Managua.

One of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in Central America! Really liked this place. Very secure and great design. Really liked hanging in the pool area at night. The bar stays open til about 10 and you can order dinner and drinks. I eat dinner pool side all week and enjoyed it. I recommend the cheeseburger!Also, breakfast is really good and included in your stay. The Super Breakfast and the French Toast are excellent.However, the only thing I didn’t like about this location was that planes fly over about 1,000 feet above coming in to land. Crazy loud. Didn’t seem to bother me much in the room and I was able to sleep fine. Most planes are landed by 10pm.

I just spent a week here. It is a beautiful hotel with a very friendly staff. The pool area is nice (what time I got to spend there - mostly evenings). The best thing I can say about this hotel is the security personnel. Juan Carlos & Geovani were so awesome. To helping with a bag, to conversing with us, to even taking our empty coffee mugs back so we didnt have to walk there. There was more. But they were wonderful and I feel as if they are friends now. I really have no complaints except for 2 things. The bed is super hard & uncomfortable. The bathroom is solid tile. Slick tile when wet. The vent fan doesnt suck out much moisture when taking a hot shower. So when you get out, the floor and walls are wet. Makes things a bit tricky. Almost slipped and fell twice.

Went on 2 separate occasions. CLEAN! Nice rooms/bathrooms. Friendly staff! Impressive pool. They let me borrow a charger when I forgot mine. They extended my stay a couple of hours longer for free. 👌💪

Such a surprise to find a quality place at such a great price! These people are doing it right. From facility, to staff, to food, to proximity to the airport, great attention has been given to detail. Look forward to my next stay!

From arrival, people very friendly and helpful one feels very welcomed.Just renewed all rooms are very nice and comfortable.Excellent food and prompt service.Next to lobby (with a very confortable sectionalit is the gift shop and the restaurant.Glass doors give both privacy and a nice atmosphere.Tile and glass gives it the nice pleasant touch .It does not look like an economical hotel by no means.Yet prices are great.Highly recommend it.This wil be my place to stay with every visit.Thank you all, from management to staff.Well done!

Very nice hotel near the airport. This place is new, built in Feb 2017. Had great pool area and the food excellent and reasonably priced. I would love to stay here again when Im back in Nicaragua.

I would like to give Hotel Agualcas 5 stars, but the hotel staff has made it impossible. My husband has stayed at Hotel Agualcas twice since May 2017. He raved about the hotel, staff and security. On his most recent stay at the hotel, he left his laptop on the bed and the housekeeping staff dropped it. The laptop was bent and does not operate properly. My husband thought perhaps the hotel would try to do the right thing. The hotel, unfortunately, has decided otherwise. It appears that they do not value a customer’s loyalty. Perhaps Hotel Agualcas should consider taking a few courses in Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Ownership, Values and Virtues. For a hotel that promotes itself as a luxury hotel, it is a real disappointment that they lack ownership. I am not impressed with their high caliber hotel rating and they did not create a great experience for my husband on his most recent stay.
