The staff were helpful.

Smorgasbord looks appealing but a terrible aftertaste tainted every dish. Using rancid oil perhaps? I see other comments saying the same thing from months ago.

Terrible food!! Pleasant staff who were quick to give me a refund.

We were regulars, but in the last year (new owners?the chinese dishes are greasy and chop suey sauce looks congealed. Disappointed. Customer service is still friendly.

The sushi was ok, but the stuff you help yourself to is bland and old, the calamari was like a rubber boot, the sweet chilli sauce and mayo was disgusting, the dumplings were to thick and tasteless and the buns were tasteless too, the spring rolls were as hard as a rock

DO NOT ORDER OFF UBER EATS. I ordered 2 sweet sour pork $26 each just for a tub of average pork, no rice, nothing. If you want to have a side of rice it would have been almost $40 each for S&S pork and rice absolutely disgusting ripoff

Had a containers with my partner, food felt like it was old and stale.The food was most likely re used.

Last night we purchased food just to get home and dig in to steal chicken fried rice both the rice and chicken weren’t fresh at all the texture, the look, taste was bad. It’s not that hard to no the difference between fresh food and that was not fresh, for $15 that’s what I got food fit for pets not for humans. Stop cooking up yesterday’s/old food and selling it to us the community we are not animals.

Best chinese smogasboard in Tauranga, really good selection of dishes, including things like thai fried fish, mongolian pork, calamari, steam buns and more!I havent tried the sushi but it looks super yummy.The staff are lovely and Im super lucky i live just up the road, my friend drives all the way from Katikati to this place when shes craving chinese.

I don’t leave reviews as every one has their own experience but on this occasion I have too as we have shopped here for close to 15 years but new owners have dropped the high standards that nice existed. We purchased fresh snapper (even asked before orderingand were sold old smelly fillets which were inedible. I phoned up to advise them of the issue and that we weren’t going to eat them and asked for a refund which they agreed to do however when I stopped in to get my money they would only refund piece of 1 fish as that is what they wrote down not the two which we paid for and never ate. It’s a very sad day as we had a great relationship with the old owners however we will no longer return and go find somewhere that doesn’t lie about their food and try trick their customer just to make a dollar. I really do hope you read this and make changes to ensure others don’t experience this. Dean

Ordered sweet and sour chicken, the large container was half full and the chicken dry and hard to swallow. The combination chow mein had so much celery in it, and a little of anything else. I should of returned the whole meal for a refund.

Bought 2 meals at takeaway bar, dissatisfied with food which was under and over cooked and all tasted similar, something has changed,wont go back

Ordered uber from here Wonton noodle soup, did not like the fact there were tons of chili flakes in there, i did not ask for any, not many noodles, picture shows a few pieces of pork only got like 1 and a half pieces of pork and wontons were chewy definitely not worth $15.90

Over priced reheated food in the smorgasbord, it was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. And they charged me eighty three cents for using my cash card.

New owners who charge 83 cents extra for paywave. Hardly any food left tonight at 6.15. Not impressed at all and wont be going back.

Wouldnt even give 1 star got food poisoning and have been to the doctors to confirm it was Salmonella. Greasy food and under cooked chicken is not what I call takeaways.

Ordered Burgers for the family. Quick and easy service followed by a filling meal and happy smiles.

After buying from there for years, their fresh fish was smelly (i.e. past use-by dateon several occasions so will never shop there again. Lucky i did not report them.

Easy parking, Chinese, sushi and fish and chips... All taste good. Prices competitive.

The best evenly coated battered fish in the bay of plenty love this place, friendly welcomes when opening the door and their sushi yummy as well

Absolutely the BEST sushi in the BOP!! They have certainly set the bar high, as I now rate other places against here, & no-one else has come close yet! Made fresh, lovely staff & clean, hygienic establishment makes this little gem a winner!
