Hot Stone Korean Grill in El Dorado
Description
Privilege
Excellent food. Excellent server.
The only reason I dont give this place a complete five star rating is that the prices are a little bit steep and the portions are a little bit smaller than Im used to. Otherwise the food is good the service was great and even though the outside doesnt look all that beautiful it is a very pretty place on the inside.
MoreOrdered chicken bulgogi. I cant stop thinking about how delicious it was and I cant wait to go back, very nice service and atmosphere
MoreAmazing food and great appetizers. Great service.
Overpriced for the portion size.Try Grace Market instead.
Absolutely delicious!! I loved the lunch box meal I ordered! Beef bulgogi is always a win. Will return again and again!
MoreAmazing food!! Its never busy because no one knows about it......
Go to Korean Kimchi by Walmart instead for bulgogi. Good place but theres better options
MoreI and my husband decided to place an order for takeout for the first time nd DEFINITELY THE LAST. Its korean restaurant WITHOUT side dishes.NO RESTAURANT CAN BEAT GRACE MARKET AT OLIVER ST!
MoreLove the food here. Would definitely recommend the bulgogi its super good and delicious.
MoreLove this place. And Im not a huge fan of Korean food.... well, at least I didnt use to be!Do you self a favor and just try it sometime!
MoreLocal Korean restaurant. Authentic Korean food. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious as well. Will definitely return to try other dishes. This hot stone bimbimbap was very good.
MoreSuper delicious. Clean atmosphere and great service! 😃
Excellent meal! We had mandu, japche, beef Bulgolgi and dulsot bibimbap. All were very tasty. The atmosphere was cozy and service was excellent! Will be back, soon!
MoreThe egg rolls are a great appetizer to start! The spicy chicken is yummy and so are the BBQ beef ribs.
MoreThe yakimondu was crisper than what I had in Korea but was very good. My wifes beef bulgogi wss excellent. I had taegigogi which was very good but sweeter than what I ate in Korea. The kimchi was mild both in flavor and in heat. I enjoyed it but was expecting the stronger, hotter type. Overall, it wasnt exactly what I expected but was delicious. Service was great. The place was very clean..
MoreAmazing food, even better people. Fairly priced and the variety is great. Wonderful authentic Korean meals.
MorePhenomenal food and service. Came highly recommended and they were right! I am already looking forward to the next time.
MoreNot good. Not even close. Absolutely no flavor. My squid was cold like it had been frozen and thrown into my bulgolgi that way. The shrimp and beef were so hard it almost could not be chewed. Will not be going back. Disgusting is only word I can come up with. Extremely disappointed.
MoreGreat food at a great price. They were very friendly and helpful, it was our first time trying Korean food and they made it a great experience.
MoreAll I have to say every time I’ve been here the food has been absolutely delicious. And the service is great . Especially today the young lady was very pleasant and patient with my 2 young kids . And very consistent. Was very friendly and made sure we were okay . The ribs are amazing, the ramen is spectacular. The chicken teriyaki is delicious, My kids eat it all . I recommend this place to anyone and everyone 🤙🏾
MoreI loved the food and the service. Prices were reasonable. I almost ordered a second meal because the food was so good. I for sure will come back to try their other dishes when Im back in town. Covid precautions are in order and I felt safe in there. My bulgogi combo came with a sesame salad and steam rice but it only came 4 shrimps, I wished I wouldnt gotten more but other than that it was delicious. The shrimp tempura was also very good and the serving go is 6.
MoreDecent food but service declines.Noticed the workers get demotivated here and reminded me of when I used to work here. Employer would steal a lot of credit tip from waiters and waitresses discretely. If you enjoyed the waiters or waitresses service, tip them with cash or write a note specifically tipping to them, they have been treating me amazingly each time I come back and I would like to help them out.
MoreAbsolutely the best Kalbi. Took the whole family, and everyone left full and happy. Soju was sweet. Mushrooms were perfect. Clean, pleasant, excellent staff and service. We will definitely go back.
MoreMy first time to try korean foods in the US since I just arrived here, unluckyly due to covid it’s only for pick-up.I know that dine-in taste better but nevertheless it was good.Fresh.Good rice.Clean resto.Food’s great!
MoreMy experience with ordering my food was GREAT! However I ordered shrimp and kimchi fried rice. I paid extra to have them in my rice 3.50 on top of the regular price for my rice. I had 4 shrimp in my whole entire order. My rice tasted great and was awesome anyway. I just felt like there could have been maybe 8 shrimp in my box. This is a great restaurant and is very clean. The shrimp is the only reason I gave a 4 star rating. If I had more I would have given a 5.
MoreOne of the very best restaurants in Wichita, and decent prices too. I tried spicy squid, and vegetable tempura: both addicting. And they make their own kimchi. What a meal. And a very helpful waitress. Just a relaxed and happy meal, no rush. Two people stuffed for $30.
MoreDelicious! I always get the bulgogi stew. The flavors are so complex and delicious. My mouth goes "wow!!!!" With every bite. FANTASTIC! I wish they still made it with enoki mushrooms.
MoreThe food is always tasty and healthy. The atmosphere is quiet. I like the bibimbap and kimchi and order it frequently. The beef bulgogi and teriyaki chicken are also excellent choices. Theres probably many more great dishes, but I havent tried them yet.
MoreIf you love Korean food, this is one of the few places that will make you happy. I’ve been a fan of hot stone Korean grill for over 5 years now and they have a great menu. I absolutely love the pork or squid bulgogi. They usually cook everything fresh and there’s a small wait time while you have to seat yourselves.
MoreI love the Dolsot Bibimbap at Hot Stone Korean grill! It is served in a hot stone bowl which comes out sizzling and keeps the meal hot as well as making some of the rice nice and crispy. Every time my family comes into town they want Hot Stone. I recently tried the beef Durichigi (pictured hereand it was delicious. I asked for it to be medium spicy, knowing that would be my personal high end. It was exactly right. Just tolerable for me and delicious.
MoreCombo Bulgogi. Very good. Steamed Dumplings, Excellent. Beautiful restaurant, don’t pass this gem up.
MoreOne of my favorite spots. The food is always 5 star, great service and reasonable. Really worth checking out for lunch or dinner.
MoreDelicious. Friendly. Clean. Everything you’d want in a Korean restaurant. Get the Dolsot Bim Bim Bap!!!!
MoreThis place is a little out of the way and small enough to be hard to notice. But it is very good. I came for lunch and had a bento box meal. The service was fast and the food was great. The price was average lunch meal pricing for around here as well.
MoreI ordered the Pork Kalbi Bento Box with Miso soup and fried rice. Seeing the delicious food pictured and reading such rave reviews about this place had me with some fairly high expectations, I was unfortunately quite disappointed. I am going to guess today was a fluke because my food did not look much like the food in pictures. The Bento Box comes with two daily sides, a fried potato and of course your entree/rice. I got salad and a cucumber + bean sprout kimchi, both were delicious. The fried potato was, well, a tempura fried potato so also quite delicious, extremely fluffy interior. The Miso soup was some of the best I have had, though I was not a fan of the firm texture of the tofu. Then we have the pork - dry, strange after taste though the house made sauce was quite yummy. Portion size was not too shabby for lunch, albeit overpriced for quality. The fried rice was just awful, so I didnt end up taking more than two bites. Apart from the sides the quality hardly rivaled food court cuisine. As I said, maybe it was a fluke, maybe it is what I ordered but if I do come back I will certainly not be trying what I had today again.
MoreWent here for lunch. Food was amazing. Service was wonderful. Might be my new favorite Korean restaurant in Wichita. Highly recommend.
MoreDelicious, fresh food and a very relaxing atmosphere!
Very clean and well maintained place. A quiet ambience will set u in the mood. The food is excellent. I tried the beef Kalbi and it was fantastic. The hot stone soup was ok. I felt there was too much onion at the bottom. The egg was dropped beforehand which I found weird. The kimchi can be a lot better. Overall I would definitely go there again. Perfect place for someone trying Korean food for the first time.4.8/5
MoreThis is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in town. I have tried several dishes and theyre all good. Prices are fair. I wish that theyd give more kimchi, though. Its so good! The bibimbab is worth the drive, too. Trying to get my boyfriend to love Asian food as much as I do and he really liked it, too!
MoreLoved the authentic cuisine and atmosphere of the dining area and open kitchen. My meal was presented beautifully and perfectly portioned. Reminded me of a great upscale restaurant that I loved to be a patron of in S. Korea while stationed there in the US Army.
MoreI really liked my experience here. Its a small establishment in a nice area on rock road. The staff is friendly and the food is good. And I really liked how they dont try to overfill your plate with food making it a more healthy option as far as choice and portion size.
MoreQuaint little place on the corner with excellent food! Warm stone bowls keep your rice dishes warm through the whole meal and their chef is amazing! My favorite morsel has to be thier pickled yellow radishes, and it is a part of their Korean side dishes! Everyone needs to visit this place at least once!
MoreHot Stone is the "bomb diggity". Great, big Tempura Shrimp, many lunch items to choose from & excellent service. Also a place you can actually hold a conversation without shouting at your dining guests. Highly recommend this restaurant 🍴🔪.
MoreOkay, lets see. Overall, pretty good food. Portions are a bit small but you do get a salad. This was our first time eating Korean food. Pretty good.Im mostly disappointed in that I was told "No" two times. I asked if we could get two half orders of different egg rolls and pay the higher price so we could try them both. Nope. So, we didnt order any. I think I was caught up in that and that is why I (thinkI forgot to order the fried rice with mine. I may have ordered fried rice but couldnt remember due to everything else. Steamed rice came with my entrée so when I realized this and our waitress came back. I said that I should have ordered the fried rice. She smiled. So I asked if I could get fried rice and Id happily pay for it. She said that the side of fried rice isnt on the menu anymore and that I would have to order the meal of fried rice which is over $8. No thanks. We were the last people in there as we got there about 45 minutes before they closed. Our waitress explained the menu very well to us.I ordered the spicy chicken, beef, and shrimp. There could have been about 20% more meat. It was good. It wasnt very spicy. Which is fine with me.We wanted to try the seaweed rolls. But also get some egg rolls. Weve never ate seaweed rolls before. The three star knockdown was because they werent so accommodating in what we wanted. I even told them that their menu wasnt online and I was going to take pics of it and put it online. So, wheres the love?
MoreLove this place. Its my go to Korean restaurant. While I really like the new place Gangnam, I prefer that only for very special occasions where I can go with a large group. This place is small but very nice. Good atmosphere. Waitresses arent always the best but they are eager. Food is consistently delicious. I almost always get the Dolsat Kimchi Bibimbap and it is amazing. I love the Korean sides it comes with as well. And their Miso Soup is delicious. I highly recommend!
MoreI go about once a week. Its a refreshing change from the "regular" asian restaurants in Wichita. Great quality and decent prices for the amount of food. I usually get the beef bulgogi or the spicy beef bulgogi. The beef is tender and flavored well. I love the sides that come with the lunch. Staff is great. Will keep going to Hot Stone.
MoreIt was delicious. My second time going and My husband had the Kalbi and I had the seafood bibimbap. The Mandoo was very good too. It is very clean and fresh. I recommend it to everyone.
MoreMy first time here, it was a very pleasant experience. I had the squid bulgogi and fried rice & miso soup. Very tasty, the squid and rice and veggies were awesome, I ate that miso soup so fast the waitress was laughing lol. She was a great server, wish I remembered her name. My girlfriend had the spicy chicken and she loved her dish. We will definitely be back here again
MoreWe love it. We go once a month or so. Very tasty food, usually attentive service and super clean. I think the owners are the ones working in the kitchen, husband and wife, so attention to quality is high.Definitely recommend.
