Good experience, friendly staff, excellent food and good covid protocols. Knowledgeable and was happy to explain different bubble teas to the kids I was with, clearly and kindly even as they were boisterous. Will go again!

My husband and I eat here often. The food and drinks are excellent. The owner is a very knowledgeable barista who just blows our minds with his use of different flavours. Highly recommend this little spot!

I have gone to Hot Chai many times and have never been disappointed. The service has always been good and fast. The owner has even brought out tasters for free. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is bright and modern. It is in my top picks for Nanaimo.

The chicken fried rice, was the best Ive ever had! My sister said the mixed veggies & prawns were great! The coffee was descent as well🙂

Food was delicious and service really good.

This place is great! The coffee is good, I have been going hear since they opened up. In the summer i can get a cold coffee or a pop and in the winter after i shovel the snow its great to grab a warm cup. The food is actually unbelievable. Everyone in nanaimo should try this place out!!!

This place is one of my favourites within their price range!The food is simply tasty, well done, and satisfying! Portions are perfect and just what you would expect and more. I like there lunch deals, they are very felling and provide a lot of variety within Each order: includes salad + soup + spring rolls + deep fried wanton + rice or noodles + the main order.They also have bubble tea!The service is honestly the best! I feel like home every time I go there. Very welcoming and friendly.

My wife was out of town, and my turn to cook dinner. Took the kids here for din. Great fresh cooked from scratch meals. My pickiest eater raved about the wonton soup...each wonton has a full size prawn wrapped inside as well as the pork...delicious. Apparently authentic Hong Kong style! Owner is very pleasant and courteous. Food is always fast and hot. Hidden gem!

Great food at an affordable price. Good for quick bites and drinks to full on meals and desserts. The owner always remembers what I get in my bubble tea which is a nice touch to the friendly vibe the establishment has. Would 100% recommend eating here for lunch and dinners or just for a lil snack.

I mostly come here for bubble tea and its an absolute pleasure. I enjoy the flavor. The noodle and rice boxes are pretty tasty too and good for a nice little meal. The one big thing that is a shame for me is the prices. The boxes are manageable though comparatively a but overpriced and the bubble tea for its portion leaves me unsatisfied. All in all, a nice little place to visit but not for my regular business.

We love eating here. The butter chicken and prawn pad Thai are awesome. Spring rolls are very good too. Also the wonton soup is delicious. We will be back many times in the future.

This place should really be busier. The fried rice (especially the BBQ porkis delicious, and the Singapore Peanut Curry is one of the best things Ive ever eaten at a restaurant in Nanaimo. Wow. You need to go, people!

I sometimes have lunch with roomie, and have never had bad experiences! Awesome foods and friendly staffs.

They always have such good food here. They pay a lot of attention to detail and I have yet to try anything bad on their menu. Their spicy Korean chicken on rice is my favourite. Delicious kimchi :)

Need a fast hot meal at 8:00 pm and have $10? Pork katsu curry is so filling and really good. Highly recommend.

Awesome food, super quick, great bubble tea and friendly service. The best Asian food Ive come across in Nanaimo and better than many fusion places in Vancouver. Highly recommend It!

The green curry dish I had was packed full of fresh vegetables and prepared very professionally. This is a must do when youre in the area for a quick bite because the service I had was amazing! I will definitely be returning.

Love this place. Diverse Asian Fusion menu, can accommodate allergies, friendly people and a great place to grab a drink or snack to go, to enjoy a great meal, or to have an informal meeting with papers & laptops amid steaming cups of coffee.

Really good organic coffee. On a short visit on Vancouver island, that coffee was exactly what we needed to keep going on the road! Will come back!

Really good food, good service and really nice bubble tea, my favourite flavour is mango.
