Hostel Climbing Point in Huaraz

Good hostel, fair prices for a nice room. Far from the center. The owner is really nice and allowed us to keep our begs for storage a few time when we went for hiking. The place is very clean. The breakfast is just 2 eggs with 2 small pieces of bread (not enough for me).

Awesome owner, easygoing, always ready to help and giving tips. Cheap hostel with a kitchen and a nice view. Really hot shower, 15min walk to the center.

Estuvimos casi dos semanas mi pareja y yo. Llegamos una mañana a las 6am sin reserva y Omar enseguida nos atendió y facilitó una habitación con baño privado por 45 soles la noche y desayuno incluído. El hostal tiene muy buenas vibras, y eso es relamente importante. Ofrece también una cocina para el uso y disfrute de sus huéspedes. Lo mejor (para mies que desde el mismo hostal se organizan tours a un buen precio y Omar alquila material de trekking, acampada y otras actividades (climbing...). Personalmente hice el Santa Cruz Trek y alquilé saco de dormir, tienda, esterilla, cocina y palos de trek, todo en el mismo hostal a buen precio. Mientras tanto, Omar nos guardó nuestras pertenencias sin costo alguno (no todos lo hacen, por desgracia). En definitiva, un hostal que recomiendo encarecidamente, especialmente por la amabilidad y buen rollo de Omar, el propietario.

We stayed about a week in this hostel during our stay in Huaraz. It was great. We arrived early in the morning on a night bus and Omar let us in at 6am. The rooms are simple but good enough. The only thing Id say were the beds which were not the most comfortable, but if youre not super picky, youll be fine. They have great, hot showers. The kitchen on the top floor is very clean, bright and has a great view.Breakfast was include and consisted of 3 options: bread with either jam, avocado, eggs. The bread was very tasty.Omar was always very helpful and is very knowledgeable about all the different activities you can do in the national park.You can book tours at the hostel for a good price (some are cheaper than finding your own way to the places).We did the Santa Cruz Trek and hired all the necessary camping gear at the hostel too: tent, sleeping bags, roll matt, stove, and pots. While we were away on the trek we were able to leave out stuff at the hostel free of charge (some other places charge for this!)The internet is very good and fast and we could also wash clothes there (costs extra).Its a little far from the centre, but still walkable. Good thing is that its a quiet part of town.The atmosphere was very relaxed and easy going. Would definitely recommend.

El ambiente era muy bueno, espectacular. Nos dejaron entrar a la habitación antes de tiempo porque llegamos a las 6am en un bus nocturno y nos dieron desayuno gratis cuando no entraba hasta el día siguiente. Luego al volver de Trekk de 4 días nos duchamos gratis (en otros hostels te cobran). Esta un poco lejos del centro pero es mejor al no tener ruido y desde la terraza las vistas son espectaculares.

Reservé habitación con días de antelación y nos dieron una habitación en el piso de abajo (en el sótanola cual estaba sucia, con mucha humedad, sin luz y sin ventilación.Baño sucio y sin agua caliente..La ubicación es bastante mala, está alejado del centro y no parece muy seguro de noche.Resumen: todo mal

לא ברור למה המקום הזה מקבל דירוג גבוה. ריח מצחין שורר בכל הקומה השניה (שם החדרים). החדרים וגם השירותים והמקלחת היו מטונפים.. ברחנו!לטובת הצוות יאמר שהיו מאוד אדיבים, וידעו אנגלית.

Excelente atención y ambiente muy agradable. Agua bien caliente y disponibilidad de cocina con zona común. El cuarto en el que estuve disponía de baño individual. El resto de habitaciones compartían baño, si bien toca a baño por cada dos habitaciones y se encontraban muy limpios.La única pega es que el televisor era antiguo y sin mando a distancia.

For people looking for a cheap hostel and whove been to hostels before, this is a good place to pass the nights at Huaraz.The owner is especially kind and helpful

Niet best. Schimmel in de badkamer. Slaapkamer was koud en nat. Geen aanrader.

La estadía es muy buena, los lugares compartidos son buenos (tienen cocina, terraza, baños con aguas calientes, opciones de tours muy económicos comparados con otros, y el servicio muy amable)Lo único malo es que queda un poco lejos del centro, pero por el precio vale la pena, te aconsejo alojarte si vas en grupo, solo sería un poco más complicado.

Good place to relax and cheap private rooms. The owner is a climber and offers tours. Breakfast every morning many shops close by and not too far from the town square. 10/10

During our 2 week exploration of both the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Huayhuash, we repeatedly used this great hostel as home base.Its incredible value, very helpful staff (Omarand laid back atmosphere made our stays extremely enjoyable.While we were on tour they kept our extra stuff, gave and lended us maps and were enormously helpful when we had questions.A bonus, apart from the included breakfast, is also the top floor of the hostel where you can enjoy the view of the city, the serounding hills, sun and the breeze.

Very good hostel for the prices!

A very basic hostel, but for an unbeatable price. Good beds, great showers, simple breakfast. Its 15 minutes walking from the center. The owner is very knowledgeable and will gladly set you up with a tour for a good price.

Unseren Aufenthalt im haben wir genossen! Omar, der Inhaber, ist sehr hilfsbereit und interessiert. Die Leute und die Stimmung war ebenfalls super. Wir kommen gerne wieder zurück:-)

The hostel has good price value and amazing mattresses! However it is quite the walk from the center (20min), there is also no fridge in the kitchen and no recycling bins. The owner is nice, but you wont find somebody there all the time. Showers are hot and WiFi is good though :)
