Very nice people! A really cozy hostel and a big breakfast. Good sized rooms (at least the multiple bed room, for the rest i cannot tell).Very cute interior. A bus station is directly 1 minute away that takes you within a few minutes to the main station. Would come again for sure.

Filled with drunken old men due to it being the only youth hostel in Bern. Would not recommend to anyone. Put an age limit on the rooms and stop making backpacking travelers room with angry 60 year olds.

My partner and I stayed at Hostel 77 in a 6 person dorm for two nights, and were quite happy with the facility.The building itself is a bit dated, notably the elevator which didnt have a door, but it still has all the facilities you would want / expect from a good hostel. Everything was clean and accessible, and the staff were friendly enough.The rooms and beds were nice enough, and its always appreciated when the beds have their own little shelf and power point. The lockers were located outside the room, but are quite large.The breakfast was pretty good, only continental but with plenty of options and variety. The various communal seating areas were also all nicely set out and decorated, although the kitchen itself was perhaps a little small, and could only accommodate 3-4 people cooking at once.It is a fair way outside of the town centre, but theres a bus station only a minutes walk from the building, so that wasnt too much of an issue.

Best hostel I’ve tried around the world till now!!! 99% of my compliments from their service! Staff there are sooooo kind! And other facilities are also good! Fair price in Switzerland! Definitely will recommend this one with my friends

Nice place to stay.. Staff is very professional and provide robust services.. Rooms are very clean ans even common bathrooms.. Bus stand is very close to the hostel.

The company that stays here is varied and interesting. The location is good. The rooms and bath facilities are tolerable. The breakfast however would not even rise to the level of mediocrity when compared to a continental breakfast at a budget motel. The staff are gracious and kind. Overpriced, but it’s Switzerland.

Hostel with communal toilets and showers. Clean with well built facilities. Linen is good quality. Laundry service available for 7 chf. Customer service is absolutely awesome, a rare experience. I had a problem with my stay and it was immediately addressed in a very efficient manner. Breakfast and public transportation are free for the guests staying here. No AC or fan but Switzerland is cool at nights so it wasnt that bad. Because the windows are open, its not always quiet. But after 11 pm, it quietens down. Noise always depends on your luck though. If youre coming from the train station, take tram#19.

One of the best hostels I have seen in Europe, not to far from central station via bus (free, check with staff), clean toilets, kitchen, helpful staff.Breakfast is really nice with a lot of options, fruits, juices, Swiss butter etc

Great value stay. Probably got the best and cleanest showers and toilets I’ve ever seen in a hostel. Staff is also really nice and breakfast is included in the booking. Only thing is AC didn’t work too well and we had to put on our own sheets (which is especially painful for top bunk). Also no privacy curtains or anything in your bed space so it could be tough on solo travelers.

What an excellent deal and kind staff! Multilingual, caring, and very efficiently run and super clean. A good place for a person needing contact with others, to explore the local environment, to meet other travelers as they have community kitchens (also impeccably clean). Appropriate for any age and child freindly. A nice little garden out back with ping pong and a hamack. A all around excellently organized, clean, and comfortable hostel at affordable prices. Sure deal!

one of the best hostel i have been, everywhere is clean. and the breakfast come with varieties.shampoo, hand wash and honey are all organic and fair trade.

Really bad hostel. Very dated. Rooms are separate from reception. There’s other things in the building. Mattresses are super thin and uncomfortable and there’s no place to hang other than the kitchen that is dull and the reception that has two tiny tables. Breakfast was only ok.

Clean rooms, good breakfast for a hostel, friendly staff

Not the most aesthetic hostel Ive been to but I still loved it. Its the best sleep I had my whole trip. Shower stalls were nice with doors instead of curtains so water is better contained. Rooms were small but it was nice to have a sink in the room itself. Locker space was adequate amd also room under the bunk for things you didnt want to lock up. They let me borrow and lock and plug adaptor at the front desk with no hassle or charge. Towel included and there was paper towel in the bathrooms.Very quiet! Well insulated. Even the sounds from my roommate moving around was insulated.Guest kitchen was well set up as well and had a sense of home to it.Easy to get to on public transportation from the train station.Overall peaceful and home like

I had a fantastic stay in hotel77 and this would be always my place in Bern. Generous, cousy, very very clean, a place with a great vibe and close to the city. I stayed in hotest77 for 20 days.Dominique, Fabian and the rest of hostel77 family are very warm hearted people. The were very supportive and on the offering; even as a medical care for an accident I had. The hostel and the team have their own magic to charm you and make you feel like home, while in a nice cousy get away near the city of Bern.With no doubts, its the place to be in Bern!

I have shared my past and present with these people and still they treat me like a King. I don’t deserve the friendship I have kindled with them during my stay.This place is karmatic and welcoming, and it is seen in its attention to detail and in management’s efforts to provide a gateway to the rich culture Bern has to offer during your stay.They gave me a public transportation pass that lasts as long as my stay.Loved coming in late and eating some instant noodles (w/3 ice cubes that quickly disappeared). So hot, sooo delicious.Always had a charger at the lobby when I needed it.Everyone, except for “Tanya”, was very nice to me, and did well to take care of me when I was in need of it.Thank You guys. I will never forget you.

The hotel was quite simple, but otherwise my stay was really enjoyable. The breakfast was tasty and it was included in the price. The room had a confortable bed, a sink and a table. To and from the hotel there was good buss conections. Also, the hotel provided a card that allows for free buss trips inside Bern.

We stayed for a night in the 8 bed dormitory in November. Not a touristy period. But the place is very clean and everything is well organized. Just 10 mins from the center by the bus. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Very clean and very comfortable. The staff was always ready to help and even gave me a pressing iron when I asked for one. They have a good variety of foods for a breakfast buffet. Lastly it is about 1min walk from the bus stop

Spotlessly clean, and good facilities. Lockers are in the rooms within a large spacious closet. The toilets are always clean. The breakfast is a very good all-you-can-eat spread and the dining area is large and a cool place to hang out, with access to the garden seating area. They have options for private rooms as well as groups. The staff are a cheerful bunch and happy to chat or answer any questions.Would highly recommend to anyone looking for budget place to stay in Bern. Its extremely high value for money.

Awesome hostel. We only stayed there for one night but it was a good one! The frontdesk staff were great, the rooms were lovely with clean linens provided. Theres a kitchen you can use too. Cleanliness was tip top.Also, they responded very promptly to emails/queries. Would defo recommend this hostel to everyone!*One of the staff at the reception, Julia, was so kind to provide us with packed breakfasts because we told her we had to leave early in the morning to catch a train to Basel. Thanks, Julia! :)

Fantastic place to stay in Bern. Highly recommend. The breakfast is great, place is clean, close to city center by bus (free), so dont miss out on this one.

Expensive but worth the money, toilets were clean enough to eat your dinner off of. All you can eat breakfast was awfy good, woman at reception was so nice I almost tipped her and then realised who I was and how poor I am.

I booked this hostel from booking.com and really good hostel I have experienced, very clean room and area.Staff are very friendly and supportive, breakfast has good options.Just catch 19 number बस from Bern Railway station and you will be front of Hostel within 10/15min.Kitchen is free to use.

I was very lucky to be able to found this hostel for my stay in Bern. Very cheap for a hotel in Swiss but it was not bad at all. Although the rooms were very small and I don’t like the fact it was a carpet, but the bed is comfortable enough for sleeping. But what I like the most from this hostel is; THE SHOWER! Oh I think Swiss has very good quality of water so it’s very nice. And then the breakfast is very nice as well. The people is very nice, and when you stay here you get a free pass to use the public transport.

Very good place to stay. Super friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Very near to train station. The only two problems i saw are there are no charging sockets near your bed for charging you mobile or powerbank etc . Secondly there are no shower room or bathroom to be shared by 4 beds. But the good part is i stayed in Feb so it isnt too crowded and common bathrooms are easily available at all times. Great stay here. I will definitely comeback everytime i will cpme to Bern.

Even though I booked a double room for single use, it was a bad experience! It is relatively more expensive than the other less quality hotels I stayed in.Bathrooms ans showers are shared by the hallway and there is only a sink in the double room.I could not sleep for the 2 nights straight, because rain and wind kept shaking the blinders of the window. It was fragile and.l very old.Breakfast is ridiculous. They had literally 2 apples cut to small pieces on a plate for everyone who is staying to pick from? Same for cheese. It was put on a place for people to pick from (see pictures).The 04 floor had the worst smell and the cleaning service does not stop by daily.I learned eventually that the place was a hospital turned hotel. Which explains the creepy vibe the old elevators give you.I would not stay again. One star for the nice staff.

I went there to visit a tourist.It is a nice hostel and its really close to the city. Right in front of it, theres a bus stop which allows you to get into the heart of the city within 5 minutes.The rooms are not too big, but its enough for a hostel.I really liked the way they created all the signs (backpacker style).

Generous free breakfast. Clean and well maintained facilities. Room was spacious with large windows, storage, and a nice view. Easy to get to by bus (and bus ticket provided by hostel). Great recommendation by staff for activities in Bern. Overall very high quality!

Great value when visiting Bern!Located quietly outside the center of Bern, this hostel feels a bit more like a hotel due to the architecture, but maintains a real down to earth charm. Clean, comfortable and well maintained.Nice staff, affordable rates, excellent breakfast, good WiFi and a local public transportation pass make this place a real find for visitors to Bern.Our stay was quite pleasant and quiet. I highly recommend this hostel. Like many things in Switzerland this is just done right.

Very neat and clean. A very good option for budget travellers. Kitchen is shared and too small for so many people.. But otherwise everything was better than expected. It was my first hostel experience and I loved it

Amazing hostel. Clean and spacious. Only downside is that the bathrooms are not inside the rooms but the rooms get a sink which is nice. Great breakfast and you recieve a bus card for free which makes transportation nice.

I informed the staff that I would come with my bike. They arranged a room inside the hostel for me to park it, and even allowed me to use their inflator and tools! I felt very restful for their kind help, otherwise it sound be difficult to continue the journey.The homemade muesli in the breakfast bar was the most amazing!! All the shower, toilet, kitchen, and room are very clean. There is no spectacular view here because it is a bit far away from the city center. But the nice thing is that its in a very quiet neighborhood, with a bus stop within 5 min walk that connects to the city center.

Simple but nice and clean place. Worth the price and people there are extremely friendly and helpful. If you want to find a cheap deal in Bern for a stay of a couple of nights thats the place to go. And dont worry about the fact that its not in the city centre. You reach it by bus in a couple of minutes!

I stayed here two nights and felt very welcome. Great food, very friendly staff, and lots of information on local events. The room was very quiet and I appreciated that each bed had a reading lamp.Dont miss it when youre in Bern!

The hostel was so good and clean , the employees are nice. The breakfast was good ! I recommend ;! but it s a little far from the city center, but you can have a free bus tickets which is great !
