Hostal 3 Hermanos in La Cruz

Every business in the area charged 3% when you pay with debit or credit card this place charge are 6 %, margaritas that I bought to my wife had no alcohol and was told it had but tasted like lemonade. The conversion of the dollar was at $35 when everyone else is at $36. Service was very slow and owners were not very informative.

HOTELWe are staying in one of the rooms of Tres Hermanos. We’re loving it!! The rooms are simple, but all you need. Clean bathrooms and the best location ever. The restaurant isn’t cheap, but same price as the others in this area, and the food is really good. It’s really quiet, but more people come during the day. Go here if you want to treat yourself with pretty views

Just sketch and shady, I rarely leave google reviews, but a place that makes up prices (even though you have a menu with listed prices in front of you), and lies through their teeth doesnt deserve a steady stream of business, but unfortunately there are few options on the beach to choose from. Basically this place will lie and make up excuses as to why your bill makes no sense, it happened to me, and I witnessed it happen to the guy sitting next to us as well. I don’t go out to eat so I can fight about prices on a bill, or feel conned into ordering more expensive items on the menu cause you claim you’re out of this and then the table next to us is eating what you’re out of.

The pina colada was perfect. Great little spot to watch surfers or read a book. The hubby rented a board here and I spent a few hours watching. The service was quick and extremely friendly. My only complaint is that the bathrooms were gross with no place to wash your hands. The prices are high here so would expect better conditions. Great vibe tho.

The owner is not honest and will over change you if your not careful. Just like everywhere else in nicaragua. Dont trust the owner named omar. Dodjy character. Dont be fooled by the smile

Breakfast burrito is top notch stuff! Stay and watch surfers all day with a few toña, and you have yourself a day.

Very rustic Nicaraguan bar / hostal with cold beers.

They rent surf boards here which were fine. But the staff in the restaurant all they do is shout at each other the whole time. You can rent umbrellas here

No frills accomadation right on the beach with the hollow, fast waves of playa maderas on your doorstep. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and we felt safe and secure. Its quiet at night which is what we were looking for, stay in San Juan del sur if its madness you are after. Our 5 night stay was a fun, real Nicaraguan experience!

service is completely uneven depending on servers but always on the slow side, was served a very undercooked burger (raw in the center, burned on the sides), had to help them sort out my bill a few times. Board rental is somewhat ok, just take a close look at what youre renting making sure it is watertight and that the fins will stay on the board... until they put some order in their act, there are better places to go in the direct area.

Been here a bunch of times. If laid back is your all, youre home. Ive met Carlos, i should tell him this directly. After coming back several times i realize the grit, flies, smelly bathrooms and trash flying around arent a part of the funky vibe, theyre just nasty and the owners are being lazy. If drinks werent so expensive the dirt and general neglect would be ok. These guys could clean the place up quite a bit and still keep the funky beach vibe.

We just stopped in for a drink, but the staff was extremely nice and fun to talk with! :)

The hostal was okay. Definitely a lot things to inprove but okay. But i wouldnt stay there a longer time anymore, if the location wouldnt be directly at the beach. We stayed there for surfing which was a super sport. Location is Playa Maderas

Brilliant place, loved it. Manuel, if he still runs the place is a wonderful host. It felt like home!

Amazing surf spot, hostel, bar restaurant and surf school ! Good food nice staff and good atmosphere. Accessible by shuttle 5$ return from town with possibility to transport you own "tabla" 🏄🌶🌮🍻🇳🇮😀
