Weve stayed there (powered sitefor 4 months (worked on a project).Couldnt complain, all quiet at night. Friendly people,Thanks again for the hospitality.
Great spot to stay, Richard looked after us like friends.Hes very knowledgeable and happy to share information about other area.
Richard was very friendly and guided us into the best position for the van.
Stayed in one of the studios absolutely beautiful although the couch is a bit too close to the tv Owner was friendly & thoughtful enough to turn the heating on prior to our arrival on a chilly winters afternoon 🙂
"Clean and Friendly" Thats Richards motto and thats exactly what it is. Highly recommended!
We stayed here for 5 nights and were very happy. The whole park is gravelled, so no mud. Our site also had pavers beside the van. Its a very well kept park, clean and tidy. Definitely recommend it.
Excellent park. It was cold and wet so gravel drive thru for van was perfect - no mud or wet grass/leaves. Good laundry and toilets with real toilet paper - heaven!Ten minute drive from city centre no problem.
A hidden gem, cabins crisp and clean, atmosphere relaxed, casual. Grounds clean, tidy well kept, perfect little spot. Only 10mins from Main Street but short walk to pub that serves great meals. Within range for Army recruits on March out weekend leave to stay with families. Highly recommend
Amenities clean, well laid out sights. But dog friendly? I dont think so. Barely dog tolerant.
No complaints, friendly staff, lovely size park, quiet, very clean, we really enjoyed our stay making use of the swimming pool most days. Well done
Very good and clean amenities, Richard was very talkative and helpful.
We had a great stay, all amenities very clean. Manager very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to all caravaner`s, drive through sites and all other sites easy access. Thanks again and we will be back. Thanks again
Very well set up for drive through caravan stay with all facilities excellent conditionsHappy hour was special, meeting others in the park including the owner Richard
Good stop over friendly host very helpful. Nice park with lagoon awesome showers clean tidy. Close to highway.
Enjoyed our stay, very happy with the short time we were there. Would certainly recommend to all. Very well equiped and run park.
Great service. Fantastic experience. Richard, the owner, goes above and beyond. Happy Hour around the fire is great. Will definitely stay here again should I ever be in the area. Would rate six stars if I could.
Thank you Richard, we had a great stay at your park last week. Large drive through sites, clean and efficiently run. Camp fire happy hour each evening was a great opportunity to talk with other travellers, lots of stories and laughs. We will be back.Mick & Linda O’Neill
Great out of the way caravan park. Very clean and tidy with large drive through sites. The owner is a top bloke and takes you to your site. Happy Hour around a camp fire nothing better on a crisp evening.
A nice little park in quiet location. Walking distance to an average pub. Clean amenities and park. Friendly service.
Loved our stay here. The meet and greet get togethers were great. Adventures shared and.knowledge exchanged. The managers here really made our stay enjoyable.
We love it when find a GEM of a caravan park on our travels. Richard welcomes you with a smile, walks you to your site which are all beautifully maintained & drive through. Meet & greet in the lovely camp kitchen, a fire going to warm you on a cold arvo at 4pm is a chance to swap stories.Highly recommend, we will be back next time we are coming through Wagga
Had a fantastic time , loved this family run park . The meet and greet at 4 oclock was a great way meet fellow travelers and some characters who call the park home. Definitely staying here when we return to Wagga Wagga.👍
What a great friendly, clean and tidy park.Loved the meet and greet, Richard the host, was very helpful and welcoming.
Lovely van park hidden away from the hustle and bustle. Great service. The owner shows you to your site and gives you a run down of the amenities and local attractions. Meet and greet daily undercover. Good prices. Nice sites. Our site was gravel. The park is clean, very well maintained, great amenities block and so relaxing. The lagoon is lovely and tranquil. Can hear trucks and cars on the highway at times but that didn’t bother us.
We loved our time at this park. Quiet, clean and welcoming owners. Booked then ended up staying longer.
Very glad we chose this Caravan Park. We have stayed in a cabin mid 2020 and our caravan February 2021. Very well run by owners. Richard is a very present owner, everything well cared for and secure. Extremely clean and well maintained. Has a meet and greet each afternoon, for anyone interested. Swimming pool and small lake. Lovely friendly owners, our choice for Wagga. Lorraine and Tom
Richard and Teresa are very welcomingGreat park . Great and meet fellow travellers is a great idea. We scored sausage sizzle and a music night this trip . Highly recommend this park to everyone . Thanks guys
Richard is very welcoming and maintains his park beautifully. Very clean. Big cool undercover area to meet for drinks or a chat. Easy drive through access van sites.
Absolute great Park to stay at. Its the most personal park we have ever stayed at. Owners go over and above to make you feel welcome and help out where possible. The whole park is immaculate and they have done an amazing job to make this park what it is.Great work guys keep up those Meet & Greet nights.Val & George 😊
Well kept park. No grass but well worth staying here. Friendly management makes you feel comfortable. Very clean and tidy.
A great place to stay. Good sites, great facilities and well maintained. Hosts are really welcoming and informative about seeing the sights in and around Wagga.Just had our second stay at Horseshoe. Just a great place to stay. Immaculate facilities and the hosts Richard and Therese really make you feel welcome and nothing is too hard. They hold a meet and greet every afternoon where you take your own drink and catch up with those staying in the park. It would have to be one of the best parks in NSW and the local area around Wagga provides plenty to do and see.
Sweetest people!Happy hour at 4pm to meet neighbors was so nice.So clean and well looked after!Pool was a great bonus to escape the heat.Close to town but so quiet and safe.
This is a small park on the rise. Made to feel very welcome by staff with an invitation to the Triple H or Horseshoe Happy Hour. This is a daily social gathering of like-minded travellers to chat and swap stories. Drive thru sites, clean tidy surrounds, adequate and clean amenities,BBQ area and peaceful lagoon all help to make this place a pleasure to stay in Wagga
So relaxing after escaping our property from the fires, lovely caring hosts with understanding as we fled with our 3 poodles and Schnauzer. Really well upgraded. Love the shower old doors. Hope you keep those. The social get togethers that you hold , took our minds away from our trip back to the burn today and we met lovely people.
This is one of the nicest parks weve stayed at. The park appears to have been rebuilt so everything is new and fresh. We stayed on an ensuite powered site and the bathroom was very clean and well set up. The park manager couldnt have been more helpful during our stay. We had car problems and he was very flexible about us leaving the van on the site longer than usual while we got mobile again. Happy hour drinks to meet the neighbours each afternoon. And a refreshing pool for a dip. Couldnt have been a better experience.
This has to be one of the best Caravan Parks we have stayed at . Richard and Teresa couldn’t do enough to ensure you were comfortable and how Richard remembers everyone’s name just shows how that your not just another dollar in their pockets but a part of their family for the duration of your stay . If I could I would give it 11 out of 10
Theresa and Richard were excellent hosts for our first visit to Wagga Wagga. We were there because of a family member doing her march out parade at Kapooka. The position was good, only 10-15 minutes drive from the Army Base. Our cabins were very comfortable and clean. We will definitely go back againLouise Matters
Richard excellent host. How does he remember everyones name??? Meet and greet wonderful. Facilities so clean . Theresa also very pleasant. Will definitely be back. Thank you
Fantastic management and great dust free caravan sites with lots of room. The toilet shower block is very clean. The cabins are clean and well cared for. Indeed a great place to stay.
Had a great stay at the park. The owners were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. We stayed in one of the new cabins which was very clean, with good heating and electric blankets. The shower was also excellent.
Stayed there overnight what a lovely park and the owners were the best we have dealt with in the ten weeks we have been travelling. Richard puts on a "Great & Meet" every day so campers can chat and swap stories. If you want a great caravan park stay here. Amenities are great and very clean and well maintained . Do yourself a favour and book this park you wont be sorry.
Excellent. Richard is a great host, very accomodating, friendly and cheerful. Great location, close to everything but not too close. Pub three minutes walk away. Shopping centres within a ten minute drive. Pool, drive through sites if needed, clean amenities, dump point. Cabins available. Nice grassed area near a small lake onsite. Regular happy hours that usually last much longer. When we come this way again, this is where we will stay.
Richard & Teresa at the Horseshoe Tourist Park are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make you feel like one of the family.Very clean amenities, nibbles and drinks at 4.30pm every day in beautiful area under big shady trees, looking over a lagoon, great for photos.Would recommend this park to any weary traveller.
Not pet friendly at all, rude owner when he (Richardfound us having dog in our car. No trees and very dirty site. Pool was very dirty, small cabin, over price, bad toiletries. Very not recommended and don’t waste your money and time on this caravan sites.
I booked a powered site for my tent for three nights based solely on the reviews. They were accurate. Very friendly owners who want to make sure stay is a good one. The amenities are everything you need. What more can you ask for? Well, the chance to meet the people staying in the park and a BBQ on Saturday night. A great place to stay...and I will be back.
Richard and his wife as hosts were exceptional in every way. As new caravaners Richard helped us set up and checked on us to ensure we were safe and comfortable. Richard gave us many useful tips that will help us on our travels. The service was excellent and the park was great including the hosted meet and greet, Richard introduced everyone by name and provided munchies. We highly recommend this park and will return given the warm and welcoming hospitality.
We spent 2 nights there. Richard was very welcoming.the evening drinks and nibbles was a great way to meet the other campers. Loved the sausage sizzle on the 2nd night.
A very pleasant experience. Lovely clean amenities. Proprietors Jim and Margaret Williams are truly generous, friendly people. When we are back this way will be staying with them again.
Lovely cabins , warm and clean with fresh towels and extra blankets in the cupboard. Crisp clean sheets and a warm electric blanket provided a good nights sleep .Not fancy but the kitchenette had kettle, microwave and mini stove so great for us as we were able to get food from the supermarket instead of eating out for every meal. It is a little bit out of town but its worth it for the price.Great value and lovely staff. Will definitely be back.
Firstly, Im not sure where these photos came from because nowhere did I see any beautiful modern cabins as depicted in the photos. We were given a run down, very old cabin. It was such a hot day and the cabin was boiling. We were told to leave the air con on if we went out, just to help cool it down, thats because it took hours to make the cabin comfortable. The fly screen fell out of its rails hitting our car and chipping the paint. The floor boards on the decking werent secured therefore nails were exposed, very dangerous! When we booked over the phone it was explained that 2 adult women and a child would be staying so appropriate bedding was required (grandmother, daughter and grandchild). My 70 yr old mum of course had the bed, which sunk in the middle, which then left myself to deal with the triple bunk beds, with barely half a metre between them on slats with a mattress that barely existed. The taps in the shower were that caked with dirt they had to be scraped off, the bathroom stunk of sewage, the hot water didnt even last 2 showers. The "couch" was just foam that sank in a hole. The worst thing was, you could tell the owner was just over it and did not care one bit. I will never ever stay there again and I would recommend staying as far away from this place as possible!! Terribly disappointing, its a shame because it could be such a beautiful place.
