Great hotel with beautiful sights! One of the best spot in Vinales
Rented some bikes to go enjoy the pool.. only to arrive and learning that the only way to pay is by Visa - which we had - but Revolut doesn’t work. We couldn’t even buy a drink, as they accept absolutely no cash ( euros or pesos ..).Sad experience, luckily the workers were nice..
A great hotel and it has a very special view over the valley. It was easy to go around in the area. The breakfast and dinner was good.A big pool.A big room (clean).
Come here just to make a picture of the beautiful view over the valley! The food in this hotel is disgusting... The hotel is not clean and the toilets are so dirty...
A must see in Vinales. Beautiful spot with excellent hiking. Take the hike if at all possible. Unparrelled!! Also a beautiful veranda with all the trimmings. When a bus arrives, the place bumps it up a notch. The band started into a rousing salsa, the elderly gentleman on the saddled, super mellow cow, the painted gentleman dances and poses with you for donations. Did I mention the view. Food and drinks are good also. Well worth the effort.
Positives: the viewNegatives:No running water in the room for the whole stay. Had to use bottled water bought at the bar to shower. The staff didn’t care. The room was stinking of damp and dirty with sticky damp sheets. The cleaning lady spends all her time making kitch towel sculptures. The whole place is run down and falling apart. The breakfast was bad and they didn’t supply enough dishes for everyone. The lady organising the excursions was not friendly and not helpful. We asked for advice on what to see and she just shrugged. The pool was full of screaming kids.
This was by far the worst hotel we stayed at in Cuba. There was 15 mins of running water in the morning and 15 in the evening for the three days we were there. So no shower, no flushing the toilet.. and that for a hotel that’s not exactly cheap. Also very run down and dirty. Come here for the views but sleep somewhere else
Los Jasmines- a 3stars luxurious hotel in Vinales. The best panoramic view of Vinales Valley!!! The balcony is suitable for great panoramic pictures!!! There is also a bar restaurant where you can enjoy some quality food and drinks while viewing the Valley!!!
Location is what does it for this places. Rooms are dated, general cleaness could be better for the price we paid same goes for the toilet seat which was loose and sliding left to right. Again location and drink by the pool epic!
Pretty nice hotel, especially for Cuban standards. The water in the showers was a little warm, the pool was alright and the room service was good. Some things I didnt like was the breakfast, which sometimes was good, but sometimes had very lacking choice all of a sudden.Bar personnel could be better, because they were quite slow and not very flexible. The view over the valley was amazing!
One of the best views of the valley of Viñales, although you dont need to be resident in the hotel to enjoy it as there is a public viewing point with a couple of bars right next to the hotel. The pool is available to use for non-residents for 3cuc, however the changing rooms are simply the public toilets. Nice bar area with a standard snack menu at standard prices.
Nice to visit not to stay !
The hotel has a very nice view , and the nature of the area is beautiful , on the other hand the front desk staff are mediocre , no customer service , very poor communication skills, americans should get in to Cuba and start making some changes! Cuba is getting worse every day . and is sad because every day there are more disappointed people who will never return to the Island just because of the human quality !. on the other hand is better to stay in the native houses for rent you will have a better time and will learn more about the culture with the natives . la naturaleza alrededor del hotel es bella , pero la cantidad de mediocres trabajando en este hotel es inesplicable. no lo recomiendo pasaran un mal rato . no pude captural el nombre de los dos invesiles que trabajan ahi pero es preferible una casa particular , el trato sera mejor y el costo mejor.
Fantastic views of the Viñales valley!!
Mid range hotel with a magnificent view on the Viñales valley and montains. At 4 km from the village. Nice pool. Good breakfast. No ATM, so bring enough cash.
Nice place in Vinales with a beautiful view over the green mountains from hotel and swimmingpool. A good startingpoint to make excursions in the area. Toilets in the hotel are not clean.
Beautifull view over Valle de Vinales
Room not very clean. Frog in airco. Building needs maintanance. Breakfast is good.
Only spent the afternoon by the pool after an afternoon cycle and absolutely loved the peace and quiet. The view is breathtaking, worth a stop if you’re spending a few days in Viñales!
Good country hotel in Cuba. Lacks the usual bathplug, the food is very Cuban. But nice place to stay although a bit out of town.
The location is their main asset; regard all other facilities as extra to the views and youre fine.
This place also serves delicious Cuban food .It has a back patio which can be comfortable for a group of people.
Standart, nice view of the valley
Superb location for a hotel with ridiculously good views of the hilly landscape and farmlands. We came here for the swimming pool which, if youre noticed by the concierge, have to pay 3 CUCs at reception to get in - I paid but some of our group slipped by unnoticed. The pool is a strange one with sudden shallow and deep parts (think 2m+). The water tasted oddly of lemon but unfortunately is prone to absorb a lot of debris from nearby trees and hotel guests litter blown in by the wind. In the 4 hours I was there I only saw them clean the pool once. The far end of the pool is also not swimmable with a volley ball net in the way.Theres a bar and live music too next to the pool making the area thoroughly enjoyable. Ordering a simple toasted sandwich (3.50 CUCtakes ages but its tasty and you can take it to the side of the pool. They have ESPN showing on the bar TV too so we managed to catch a game of the UEFA Champions League.Overall a good place for a lazy afternoon in Viñales but could do with improvement.
Great spot if you stay in Vinales and want to spend an afternoon chilling by the pool (it’s open to non-resident if you pay the entrance). We walk through the fields and the view up there was breathtaking.
The reviews are a mixed bag. We were here for the breakfast only! It was mediocre at best. Good cortaditos at the bar, none available at the buffet. I can say that the pool was clean and well maintained. The views are stunning and made the breakfast worthwhile.
Even though the place is beautiful and the Hotel is a very nice construction Colonial style it lack comfort and cleanliness, bathroom are terrible water comes out very dirt with a brown color y smells terrible. Hotel food is very bad, the pool need TLC.
Breath taking views of the valley, great pool and cheap cocktails and entry. The food is pretty bad, so dont count on it, but every thing else is just amazing
Great views, nice place
Gorgeous hotel sitting on the crest of the Vinales valley. Views Ill cherish forever.
The best panoramic view vianales has to offer!
Beautiful views of the valley. Bit tired at the edges but worth it for the view alone.
The pool od the hotel is a lifesaver after all day of hiking or horseback riding around the valey (even for non guests)
View is fantastic. Breakfast and rooms not really.
Beautiful view. You can take the hop on hop off bus to get here.
You will get the best view onto the valley from this hotel. However, there is a public viewpoint nearby so even if you stay in town you can still catch a ride and enjoy the view. Amazingly, you see the sunset and the sun rise from pretty much the same location.I went horseback riding from the hotel to the little white farm house and enjoyed a great chat and coffee with the farmer.
Great views, okay hotel.
4 stars for the great views of the valley and good, cheap mojitos. The food wasnt that appetizing -- I ordered the chicken with rice and peas.
We only stopped here for a break after a three drive from Havana. Stunning views. I wasnt allowed to try the Pina Coladas.
Came here especially for the pool. It was empty. Great view and helpful staff though
Comfortable rooms and dramatic views across the valley
The hotel is standard, i would recomend for the view only.
Cool place to enjoy the pool with a great landscape on the valley
the view is extremely beautiful, but not the food choices.
What a fabulous location to stay at overlooking the Vinales Valley Hills & Mogotes, and a great base from which to explore. The staff are realy helpful and friendly, I enjoyed a freshly cooked omelette & fresh fruit in the morning and space round the pool to sit and enjoy a bit of peace in the afternoon. No the rooms arent modern like Havana but thats not what you come here for. Hotel Jazmines is really charming I was lucky enough to enjoy a suite at the front of the hotel I loved it.
Really good location. Amazing view
Very nice view from hotel pool - Very interesting part of Cuba
Super view on the picturesque mountains, rooms are ok, but the food in the restaurant is disgusting.ps : just in front of the hotel is a lttle restaurant with terace (same viewand good food ;)
Super accommodation, big pool and great food in restaurant. Beautiful surroundings.
