Great place for those who need this type of lodging. Saves people already stressed with a friendly carring service.
Wonderful ❣️ this is a free stay for cancer patients and their families
Stayed there free for 3 months in Cleveland as my husband had cancer. Staff members are wonderful. This was 2009.
Best Place ever Hope Lodge was our second home for awhile! Great staff great people! Was a total blessing in a hard time in our life!
Very nice place
Wonderful place to stay while youre waiting for a Transplant. The people who work there are Angels
Great resource for families whose loved one is facing treatment at Cleveland Clinic.
Its a great place!!
This place is peaceful and wonderful
Excellent place for cancer and transplant patients and their care givers while getting treatment at Cleveland Clinic or University Hospital , if you meet qualifications.
The Hope Lodge is a gift from GOD!! Its run by the American Cancer Society and donations (there is a wish list on Amazon of things they are always in need of). In April of this year my husband was diagnosed with a rare type of Leukemia along with a rare type of mutated chromosome. Its a place where patients undergoing treatment (for cancer), their families and caregivers can stay for free. Yes FREE!! Its beautiful and relaxing, its comfortable and inviting. The staff there is way above amazing. They are aware that you are dealing with a very difficult situation which has completely changed your life, forever. I could go on and on with praises for the people, the place and everyone involved in making it as close as possible to a home away from home. Ive met several people during my/our stays who have become friends. Please go on line if youd like more information. Id give it a 10+++ if the scale went that high.
This place is a God sent for cancer patients and caregivers. I know it was for us.
A wonderful safe haven when one is getting treatments for cancer.
Wonderful caring people, in a most comfortable location in uptown Cleveland.
I stayed here while my Dad was in the hospital for two weeks. Many caregivers and patients stay here even longer. Its a gorgeous house, spacious bedrooms, full bathrooms, and lots of good people. I didnt get to take advantage of their daily events and programs because I was at the hospital all day, however the few family members I spoke to raved about them.Being a caregiver is draining and exhausting, so you have to be able to recharge your batteries, otherwise your care will suffer. Coming to my quiet room at the Hope Lodge and passing out on their comfy beds was a wonderful and a much-needed respite.
Everyone was very nice
Hope Lodge is more than a place to stay, it’s a community. It was such a huge blessing to us. Not only did it give us a place to rest during a time when it was so needed, but they have thought of all the little details of what someone going through treatments (and their caregiverwould need. Thank you, Hope Lodge volunteers and American Cancer Society.
My new family
Excellent!!! Thank you!American cancer society for helping us in this time of need.

A very nice place filled with kind souls
Hope Lodge is a wonderful place. The people are Great . It is a Blessing in my life. So many people come in with hot food . Laundry service is free. Pennys hair stylists came in yesterday and did free cuts and manicures. What more can I say !
Excellent experience. I enjoyed presenting a dinner for the occupants. They were all so appreciative. Staff was kind and helpful.
So thankful for your help during my mother’s battle with leukemia. We are from Charleston, WV and Hope Lodge was a God send while she was getting treatment at Cleveland Clinic.
Nice place to be during Cleveland Clinic stay!
Awesome place. Very clean, and you cant beat the price!
Amazing place. I was lucky to stay here during my Stem Cell Transplant at Seidman Cancer Center. Tracy and her team were amazing. I couldnt imagine how I would have coped through this without this wonderful oasis to stay and recuperate.
Very accommodating
It is proof that the are very charitable people in the world, so many wonderful things are done for folks who need a lot of help.
I met a manager named Susan, she is the sweetest woman. I just like her so much. She makes my stay so pleasant. Glad they had room for me.
It was a very nice and clean and the people was very nice but we actually stayed at the transplant house I would difinetly recommend this place to other families that need a home away from home
The hope house is amazing!! My mom has been there for a few weeks now, and we couldnt have committed from where we live. The hope house is close to university hospital which makes it super convenient. I want to thank the staff and outside asst for great meal, activities, and a great place to stay with all the help you need!!
Tour was great, beautiful building.
First class place first class people
A lovely, helpful staff
Hope Lodge is a beautiful facility with a truly wonderful staff. It has become our refuge in the midst of the storm. It is as close to home as possible for those from out of town who find themselves needing the expert treatment found here in Cleveland. What a blessing!
Good place to stay while undergoing cancer treatment. Check with American Cancer Society and social worker for a room.
Wonderfully welcoming staff and a great, supportive community of people. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the only complaint Ive heard is that there are no tvs in the rooms. Wi-Fi is available, but very slow and not particularly reliable, but public computers (and printersare available. There are 5 shared kitchen spaces, lots of little rooms with couches and TVs, free use of laundry machines, and thousands of puzzles. They also have an exercise room with a treadmill, weight machine, and two exercise bikes. A free shuttle takes you back and forth from the Cleveland Clinic out University Hospital, and there is free parking. Arrangements must be made through your care facilitator, but it has really been an amazing blessing.
