The vibe here is lovely. I love the funky art style, beer names, and music they had going on. They have a lot of IPAs and DIPAs, which I love, so that was perfect for me. All of them were super good although my favorite was definitely Konkey Dong! The food here is a little expensive but SO worth it! The calamari was delicious, my burger was perfectly made and tasted incredible, and my partners salad was also a hit.To top of off the servers here are super cool and friendly.

Interesting beer. Fun environment. Our service was amazing. The fun atmosphere was kid friendly and our server was great with our boys. The food was priced so well for what we got. Adding the happy hour specials we were really surprised at the good quality vs price. Abbigail was fantastic and we wt definitely be back soon.

We rented the pool out next door and had a company tab open for the evening, I really liked the venue and the beer but my experience changed right at the end. A couple of my friends stayed back and opened a separate tab, as we were walking out the bar tender, Luke, came up to me and literally threw a receipt at me and said "funny you can afford to spend all that money and not leave a tip." My personal tab was still open, so fortunately this reminded me to close it (without tipping of course). The next day I asked our company organizer if she left a tip and her response was "I tipped him $200" and I can vouch that our company is usually generous with wait staff.

Really surprised by the high ratings of this spot here and on Untappd. I had a flight and didnt particularly like any of the beers I tried. Their IPAs certainly dont deserve the same high reviews as token breweries on the east coast. It makes me wonder if the local standard is different? I will give them kudos for some inventive styles. One beer, skittley bittley, is a fruity sour with coffee. And it tastes exactly like it sounds. Also the service wasnt great. Seemed like the person serving me didnt really know their beer, and the other bartender was not friendly.

I cannot get past the fact that a place called Hoof Hearted told me to put a shirt on (came from their pool). Otherwise, very kind bartenders. Does the job for a pool-side bar. Couldn’t imagine coming here for a dining experience.

If youre looking for the best beer in Columbus, you found it. This place does not make bad beer. Were talking sours, IPAs, pilsners, and stouts. They also have really delicious food that is unique and homemade. Lastly, vibes are immaculate. This is a must in the area.

Waited 30 minutes for drinks. We put in an appetizer order with drink order, but when server came with drinks he said he’d put in the appetizer order. Good grief, dude. Food was just so-so. The Wedgies appetizer was supposed to have sour cream and another sauce, but the sour cream was missing altogether, other one was scant. Pass on the French fries. They are limp and forgettable. The fried chicken sandwich was probably the winner. Our glasses were empty for 25 minutes before we could flag down our server for a second round of drinks. They weren’t busy, so not sure why we left thirsty. We tipped well, because, you know, but we won’t go back or recommend.

Definitely glad I checked this place out while in town. The suis vide sandwich was really something new and it tasted great too. Lots of choices on tap. Really good vibe in the place. The greeter had an awesome outfit and was really helpful picking something to go. Will be back if possible!

Originally served cold food, obviously cooked several hours ago (cold burger, cold side—nothing like my friends same side). Also disappointing that several drafts were crossed out on their menu, having not been replaced. Unfortunate experience as I love their beer.

If you like beer, this place has an excellent and interesting selection of beers on tap to try. The place is pretty open and airy compared to most dark/stuffy bars, which is a nice change of pace.

Stopped in while on a road trip for a flight and some food. Service was great and the gator bites were awesome (half price apps when I arrived!...during certain hours). Pork Belly sandwich was pretty good too. Tasted some IPAs and they never disappoint

The beer was good and it looked like a decent food menu... unfortunately the Bartender didnt tell me any of the happy hour specials so I assumed there werent any until I overheard another bartender telling another patron - unfortunately I had already decided on leaving by then.

My second brewery stop in Columbus was an obvious one, how could I resist visiting Hoof Hearted which had recently made their beers available in St.Louis. It was a no brainer to check out their taproom to enjoy some fresh, uniquely brewed beers. After a short Lyft ride from Land-Grant, we arrived at Hoof Hearted, again due to the time (Early afternoon 2-3pmthere taproom/restaurant wasnt overly packed, and that was a good thing as it still allowed us the opportunity to grab a seat at the bar and chat with the bartenders. Honestly, I am not sure where to start here, much like earlier, we went with two flights to try as much as possible, but it was nearly impossible to pick a favorite. However with that being said at the top of my list was "Dont Worry, My Mom Said Its Cool," which was an Imperial Birthday Cake Stout brewed with Astronaut Ice Cream, Cacao Nibs, & Vanilla; it was dessert in a glass (I even brought home the last four cans in the brewery). Next up was likely a three-way tie between the following:"Can I Ask You A Personal Question (Strawberry Rhubarb)" which was a Milkshake IPA; brewed with strawberry, rhubarb lemonade DIPA with milk sugar, oh yes it was good."1-800-DoubleDoubleExtraExtra-Frootie-Frootie-BiggieBiggie-JuicyJuicy," which was a Triple IPA that tasted a little like Juicy Fruit gum."I Wanna Be A Cowboy Too," which was a Sour / Farmhouse IPA that was double dry hopped IPA with vanilla and milk sugar.Hoof Hearted had a killer lineup, and a healthy food menu to boot. I was able to try Deex Nuts (nuts served with a spicy house seasoning, lime, and Cilantroand the Bayou Bitez (Tempura fried alligator served with fennel and spicy aioli). Service here was equally as impressive, although it also wasnt particularly busy either, so your experience may vary.

As always, fantastic food. Truly. The bayou bites are fantastic, the short rib is a revelation, and the salmon is brilliant. Beer is just okay, the service is slow, and its incredibly loud in there. But the vibe is cool, folks are friendly, and the food is well worth the visit. HIGHLY recommended.

TMNT on one TV, American Gladiators on the other. How can you go wrong? You could make garbage beer and that would hide it. However the beer was very good as well. Loved this place.

Menu looks good but only tried a flight. Really enjoyed the sours, especially the Maxx profits, not hoppy at all. Lager, one more again, was also nice. girth Brooks stout was too dark, a bit soy saucy flavor.

So Hoof Hearted has always been a favorite of mine. Three reasons they have always had great beer and now offer a nice variety of styles. The food is awesome, fresh and uniquely crafted and although the menu has changed over the years it’s still great. THE ENVIRONMENT will bring out the inner 80s and 90s child of of us all.Few things to note with food is they have a brunch only menu and dinner menu and brunch goes pretty late into the day I know it’s 3:00pm on weekends. There are a few lunch options on the brunch menu but limited to no appetizers and sides.Beer this has always been one of my favorite places to drink at in OhIo and I know I can always find a beer there I like, however my last trip has changed me as I can not go to Hoof Hearted anymore without getting a hard cold brew lemonade!!

Walked in the from door to a hostess that never acknowledged our existence. Finally an irritated waitress sat us at a table. The decor is fun and quirky but modern? We only had beers, which were good but no standouts. After our initial experience with the waitresses she was very nice.

Very interesting spot indeed. Kind of pricey to be in Columbus, and the decor is super tacky. Oysters were super tiny but I was glad I didnt pay full price id be upset. They ran out of hot sauce. The waitress offered other sauces which apparently were horrible with oysters. They still charged for the sauce. (Yes, you pay for sauce here). I can understand the upscale charge, but this wasnt the case here. They want to be upscale but things hurt them in this department, such as their repulsive pun of a name or horrific art. The burger was good and on sale but Id never come there and pay ridiculous prices for rude tacky gimmicks and service that treated me like I wasnt fancy enough to be there because they aint that fancy themselves. My 15 dollar tiny drink was gross too.

Awesome beer, terrible burger, not acceptable service!we went there during the burger week. The burger was so terrible, I haven’t tried their burger out of the burger week to see if it was because of the price or it has always the same quality. The beers were really good. I tried several of them and liked all of them. The service was terrible, a rude lady who didn’t have any patient or experience to work with a large group.Definitely won’t go there for food again.

We called earlier to let them know we are more than 10 people. However, we had to wait ~10 min to the tables to be cleaned! Our waitress wasn’t friendly at all! At some point she threw the pens on the table!! To be fair beers are good and that’s the only I gave a stars. We all had burger week burgers and it was simply awful!!! She didn’t ask how we wanted our burgers and they were all almost-burnt! And she didn’t bring us more ketchup or mustard because kitchen was closed:)I don’t recommend it for anything rather that a beer.

Favorite brewery in Columbus thus far. Spectacular service. Young baseball bar back helped me out with some great suggestions. The chef behind the kitchen is very talented. Loved the menu. The food was excellent. l had calamari as an appetizer as well as fresh oysters. My sister had their special which was soft shell crab sandwich and my niece had the beef short ribs and my entree was their scallops . The staff was really nice they have outdoor seating as well. Me and a couple friends made a reservation and came here on a Saturday not too long ago and dang, this place was so good. I got the ham and cheese and it was not a basic ham and cheese; it had brie cheese, some kind of boujee ham, and it was on a croissant and had some dollops of lemonish tasting aioli on the side (which I dunked my potatoes in lol). We also got a lot of their beers and they were all amazing! My fave was their current stout on tap, Faster then the Future, it might be one of the best stouts Ive had. Overall, this place is great, our servers were friendly, great atmosphere, fun artwork everywhere, and most importantly, great beer.

In keeping with Columbuss love for fun, quirky breweries, Hoof Hearted offers a lot when it comes to their beer selection. With beer names like "Are we having fun yet" and "mom jeans" you can be sure a beer tastes as interesting as its name. The food is about on par with the rest of Columbuss food scene. Classic Mexican brunch options are listed next to more classic pub food options. (Brunch Saturday-Sunday, 11-3pm)The interior is very bright and open, and combined with the art deco design, makes the whole place feel a bit like an art museum.

Quite a fun experience - not too many casual places can you order a $99 plate of caviar. My only real issue was in its surprisingly limited selection of beers. I very likely may have missed a memo and maybe they only do their own beers (though Im 99% sure that that is not the casebut if you come here, at least near the time of this review, you need to like IPAs (or DIPAs), Sours, or Stouts if you want a beer. If not, they do have cocktails and wines... though similarly limited on the selection. Though what they do, they do well! I learned of "skin on/orange" wine at this location....and Im not an ignorant consumer of wine. I was intrigued.. though less than impressed personally. But hey - thats just me and my preference :-)

Fantastic brewery!! Wow I cannot say enough great things about this place!! Their food was so so good! We got their brie cheese with some jam and we also got some potato wedges that were called jalapeno poppers or something. Wow you will NOT regret checking this place out! They are very friendly here and they even have a pool that guests are welcome to swim in with a $10 guest fee. There is also a pool bar. So much fun! We cannot wait to go back and visit!

I frequently visit this place when visiting Columbus. Although i havent yet tried the food, the beer is always excellent. Theres a variety of different types of beer and they use a lot of interesting flavors. For the most part service is fine, but this last time we went later in the evening and had to walk up to the bar to order. A blonde bartender (wearing a hat that nightwas not friendly, and was snippy to other employees in front of us. She seemed annoyed that we ordered flights and when she was done pouring, all beer glasses were overflowing, so much that as she handed them to us they spilled and made a big mess. Instead of apologizing or handing us napkins, she walked away. We had to wait for another bartender (one that had been snapped atto ask for napkins and she handed them And apologized for the mess. Even after a slight clean up, beer continued to spill everywhere and upon taking a sip, beer spilled on my clothes. No matter how many napkins I used, beer was everywhere. I even had to stuff the cupholders on the paddle. I will be contacting Hoof Hearted directly because this is the first issue weve had, but that blonde ladys behavior and service was unacceptable.

Hoof Hearted is the best rated brewery in Columbus based on average beer rating on Untapped, and its not close. If I could give this place a sixth star I would. The atmosphere is unique with 80s movies playing on the TVs and humorous if not juvenile names for the beer and food. The name of the brewery is a fart joke and their tap handles are fart clouds. Do with that what you may. The atmosphere may not be for everyone but the beer sure should be.HH is my personal favourite brewery. They are know for their exceptional NE IPAs and have been getting more into the Sour scene lately. I almost always gravitate towards IPAs but they do make some stellar stouts and sours as well. In addition to having really great beers they also have really unique ones. Just look at the beer list, you wont find some boring description that just says IPA or Porter or Stout, they all have something unique to them. One of the most unique beers Ive seen is Drop the Fries which, you guessed it, it brewed with french fries. FYI, that beer was actually really good too. Some beers have rotating variants so it may be different each time you come. The best example of that is Whod Like to Hold My Clipboard which rotates out the fruits that are used in it. I recently had the cherry variant that was surprisingly really good, my favorite was the pineapple, guava version. Bring a growler to fill and be sure to check whats available in cans. Youll definitely want to bring some beer home with you. Since the beers rotate in and out you may not get the chance to have that particular beer for awhile.Definitely come here for the beer but dont sleep on the food either. The Kurt Brussels (Brussel Sproutsare amazing and thats coming from someone who spent his youth tormenting his parents with his refusal to eat anything green. If you like sushi definitely try the Hokey Poke. I personally like to have a few beers and share some appetizers as opposed to ordering an entre. If you happen to be visiting on a Friday try the Friday Night Flight and Bites. They pair four unique off menu courses with four beers for only $25. The menu changes each week.HH has become my favorite place in Columbus to dine and I suggest everyone try it for themselves.

Favorite brewery in Columbus, if not Ohio/Midwest. Theyre not afraid to try new things and are damn good at what they do. Beer is innovative/contemporary and probably on the higher ABV side. Lot of NE IPAs, stouts, some sours, etc, food is fantastic. Brunch is great. Service is attentive but not in your face all the time. Location has parking in rear. Always sell rotating to go cans (maybe one to two dfidiffer kinds). They sell growlers, but not every beer for sale by the glass is available for growlers. Bar is pretty big. Usually plenty of tables. Flights of beer are always a great bet.

This review is based only on the "kitchen" half of this place, and its phenomenal! They serve Mexican-inspired dishes for lunch and weekend brunch. They have a good selection of sweet and savory options along with a creative cocktail menu. You wouldnt expect such high-quality food from a brewery, but they serve some amazingly tender and flavorful brisket/pork on their burritos/tacos/nachos. Their french toast is thick and fluffy and absorbs all the deliciousness that its served around. Theres quite a few appealing dishes so youll want to come back to try more. Ill have to give their happy hour a try as well. Dont overlook Hoof Hearted Brewery when searching for weekend brunch; they can hold their own against the best restaurants in town!

Bartender was helpful, welcoming and friendly. The beers were out of this world, and the food was just as delightful. Boyfriend had the Hoke Poke which was so tasty. I had the chicken Sammie; I dont typically like pineapple on savory foods but this was a marriage made in heaven. They are doing everything right here, amongst those that are not.

The food here is amazing!!! I ordered the blackened Salmon with mashed potatoes, spinach, and brussel sprouts. Oh. My. Goodness. Best brussel sprouts Ive ever had and that paired with great fish, perfectly seasoned spinach and homemade, slightly chunky mashed potatoes with gravy... Wow. My husband had the porker (sandwichand said it was just as amazing. And on top of the good food, they also have great decisions with eighties movies and shows playing in the background as well as at covering the walls from a local artist.
