Egg drop soup was good.. gf said egg rolls were good too. The rice and sesame chicken was so bland and the restaurant smells like raw sewage. Idk how this place got the 4.5 star rating but I definitely had a one star experience.

Lo mein was a soupy mess made with regular spaghetti noodles. 🤢

Truly, this place was delicious and the service was top notch! Its not a buffet, its actually Chinese food restaurant. The food was so flavorful and they give you so much food.

The orange chicken pieces were chunky. Ive eaten orange chicken from other Chinese restaurants around the area but those OC had more fried skin than chicken. Hong Kong has chunky meaty Orange Chicken. The combination fried rice is fire as well.

Always a pleasant dining experience at Hong Kong. Different from a buffet in a special way, as you sit and order and your customized dishes will be served fresh and promptly, too. Take a break from the buffet line and you wont regret dropping in at Hong Kong.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. In town on business and wanted to have some Chinese. The fried rice is that classic that you are looking for. The wonton soup is that clean light broth you want and the sesame chicken was good too. I will go back next time I’m in town. All the takeout food was hot and clearly just made.

Shrimp rolls were handmade. Great. Comfort food. Familliar.

Consistently good food, my only problem is they only give you soup with eat-in meals and not take out. If that would change, 5 stars everytime.

Ordered for lunch. Ordered through waitr. Shrimp and lobster sauce. Had 3 shrimp in total. They were so over cooked they didnt taste like shrimp. They forgot my egg roll. Ordered egg drop soup, asked for green onions barely got any. Thinnest soup ever. Never eating there again!

Very sad and dismayed at the fact that, when two rice orders , that were ordered with my three dinner orders were left of. You see, I ordered through WAITR and the restaurants policy is that simply WAITR orders get a smaller portion than the dine in patrons, a fact I was informed of when the restaurant called me after WAITR said they would send the missing rice for two of the dinners missing. WAITR had the rice on the way , the retaurant wanted to call and tell me I was wrong!!! They have a policy on take out and WAITR where the portions are less. REALLY!!!! NEVER ORDERING OR EATING THERE AGAIN!!!!!! ONLY POSTING 1 STAR BECAUSE IT"S MY ONLY CHOICE TO POST MY RESPONSE. I SAY GO TO GOLDEN DRAGON!!!!! CLEARLY I FAILED IN NOT DOING SO!!!!!! I will still use WAITR, it is not their fault that some restaurants are short changing us on our orders. GREED IS UNATTRACTIVE!!!!!!!

I loved the egg rolls but today I went there sat down to eat waited at least 10 mins, they were busy I get it no problem no one waited on me, white couple walked in get service before me, needless to say I will not be going there again. My $ spends anywhere.

I’ve been eating here for years and I’ve never had a problem with their food or service. The only thing is their tea isn’t all that great, but their food more than makes up for it. Lol.

Amazing food - delicious and not as heavy as other places! I called in my order for pick up. When I went to get my (bigorder, I had my son with me, and the woman working carried my order to my car for me so I could carry him. It was a breath of fresh air to have that type of consideration!

This is the absolute best Chinese restaurant in Houma, Louisiana! The food is very authentic and very gourmet. This same Chinese family owns Gourmet Bowl on St. Charles St. in Houma too. I brought a large group of Tai Chi students there for my birthday and we were well attended to and everything was a great experience being there. The food was amazing! They have the best Mai Tai mixed drink too. Very authentic taste with that drink. The waitresses were nice and very pleasant and very professional. The manager was so nice and accommodating and even did something very special because it was my birthday. She brought out a blooming lotus birthday flower that was playing the happy birthday song. It was so beautiful! Had such a great time! Will definitely be bringing my Tai Chi students back there for all of our group social gatherings.

ordered boneless chicken meal with no rice to go went and picked up order got home they had put veggies called and told them they told me bring it back so i did thinking they were gonna make it right nope they said they were closed and gonna refund the money well that is all good if everything else wasnt already closed next time i will skip the hassles and go to Golden Dragon for take out

When you walk in the door, the owner greets you with a smile. The servers are all very kind and seem to get along well, which gives the crew a type of family feeling when you see them going about their work.

The food was nothing special and the inside was gross. Food littered the floor and to top it off a roach was crawling on the wall then onto our table. The waitress said she was going to tell management but no-one came out. Youre better off with a frozen dinner from Rouses.

Ordered delivery and it took over 2 1/2 hours to be delivered. The lo mein noodles were very thin and the sweet and sour chicken was premixed with the sauce so it was very soggy. I think this was mostly because of the delay. When I went in the next day for a refund they were accommodating and friendly. Dont order through the app. Either call or go in. And definitely dont bother with delivery if they are busy, such as Friday night.

This has to be the worst Chinese food I ever had. One the rice was gummy with little shrimp. Second if thats boneless chicken its the worst you can ever eat. They are fast getting your food with no taste. If you ever want some real good Chinese food and you are out of Houme in New Orleans stop at Chineses Kitchen on Carrollton in New Orleans. This will show you this place have no clue what they are doing.

One of the worst Chinese restaurants I have been to. All together we ordered 3 meals and each one was bad. The egg roll tastes like they have been frozen for weeks then reheated just like the rice. I ordered lo mein but received chow mein noodles instead. When I called to ask what happened they said thats just how they make it. But even the chow mein was gross. Even with it only being 8$ I regret going. Avoid this place

excellent food for lunch at a reasonable price. This isnt buffet, but you wouldnt want it to be a buffet. Their portion size is more than adequate.
