So glad they are open again. My kids and I use to drive from Swansea to come eat here. Now we live in Orangeburg so its only 6 minutes away from our house. Very clean and the people are super nice. And the food is great ☺️

We get 2-3 takeout plates when we go. .. we live like 30 miles from Orangeburg its well worth the trip there. Its the only Chinese restaurant we go to!!!!

Great service, covid 19 regulations followed, ordered at the window. Good quantity and quality of food. I cant wait for the buffet to open back up again, but these people are making up for it with people skills. I really enjoyed my experience today ☺

The food was perfect and the prices very reasonable good. At this time there no dining in, but only take out. If you thinking of visiting Hong Kongs Buffett call your order in so you not have to wait in your car.

B rating on door. You have to beg for muscles and shrimp. Egg rolls were sooooooo nasty! I probably will not visit this establishment again.

The worst restaurant experience. I refused to eat after one bite. The food temp was way off!! Also the food was brown... Everything looked old or cooked with old grease. Paid for our drinks and left.

I stopped here at the Hong Kong Buffet on a Saturday for the lunch special $5.99 buffet. I was not disappointed at all, there were a few things that needed to be refilled while I was getting my 1st plate but soon as I sat down again they were refilling the buffet pans. Everything was clean and labeled which I run into not being labeled in other places. All in all I was quite satisfied with everything that was there, the waitress was very nice to me and will definitely be going back there again

Outstanding food!! Absolutely amazing hospitality and prices! but the place needs a little maintenance, especially in the bathrooms and the food needs to be a little more hot and prepared, but amazing cooks!

We eat here fairly often, it is really inexpensive for lunch, especially if you order Waters to drink. If you need a quick cheap bite that will fill you up I 100% recommend this place. It is family owned and operated and the people are very nice.

This is one place we will not visit again. The food was definitely not up to our expectations. My son would take a bite and say "well that was a mistake" because the food was hard, and stale. ( even croutons and cookies)Another person in our party stated the pork roll tasted regurgitated. The beef and broccoli was almost void of beef.. Although it tasted decent, the broccoli was basicly raw. Teriyaki chicken was tough and the sauce was thick like pudding and didnt taste like real teriyaki sauce (spoiled maybe?)lo main noodles were soggy, fried rice tasted like plain white rice. If your looking for good Asian food.. This is not it. After paying our bill we went to other place to actually eat as most of the food could not be eaten.. Save your money and just go elsewhere.

There was only 2 waitresses but they were not busy so we got seated right away. The food was ok but you could tell it had been sitting out a little while but it wasnt that bad. I couldnt get my tea refilled because the waitress decided she was going to sit at a table 2 up from me and do silver wear and text on her phone. Find all the had to ask other waitress and she got the tea. I think they are sisters so they need to work together

The food is good with a decent selection. The waitresses at work there are very friendly. I didnt get the restaurant more stars because of the bathrooms. The bathrooms are undesirable to say the least if I can wait to go home I will do that and I shouldnt feel like that at a restaurant.

I was told this used to be a great place. Ive been here three times. Items on buffet was cold and appeared to have been on there for a long time. Area around food was messy and poorly cleaned. What is that on the dessert bar?

Tasted like a lot of Chinese buffets. However the floor was filthy the fountain near the cash Im sure in its day was beautiful but now it barely trickles and is full of mildew. And I guess the most important thing is my wife, son, and I all felt sick after eating here. My wife didnt make it out of the restaurant before she felt nauseated.

The waitress read her book the whole timeOnly filled our cups once they got a C grade from dhec and i see they’re keeping fresh food out now and was having professionals clean the kitchen and fixing things about time they got their stuff together but they need to replace the waitress

The buffet had a good variety of selection to choose from with a nice selection of shrimp dishes, chicken and the usual sides. The only problem I found was the ice cream (dessertcould be thicker and colder.

You can count on a good experience here. The people are friendly and the food is a decent quality. Now, the selection of shrimp, desert, and rice isnt on the same level as Columbia, but its one of the better buffets in Orangeburg. We used to have a good many Chinese buffets, but not anymore so Im glad theyre still around.

Food was hot fresh. Delicious . Our service was wonderful. The prices great. Compared to other restaurants like that we have eaten that the atmosphere was warm wonderful nice place to take the family. Everyone out of low rate good wholesome food

Selection is bad. If you are oooking for good food, take the time and travel to Columbia and eat at a better resturant. This ain’t it. I you don’t want to travel, go to China Kitchen down the road and pick up a plate of good food.

Its not the jazzed placed. Its simple and simple people try to make a living run it. You can count on the usual everyday. Its good food but not great. Decor is below average. Take tray come in two sizes for lunch and dinner. Dinner tray is best value. You pay, you fix, you leave,,, simple.

I grow up eating here but unfortunately in the last few years it has gone down hill serverly. The buffet is rarely refilled the food tastes like its been out for hours they had a bad issue with roaches and the waiting staff rather play on their phones then refill drinks even. Its a real shame it use to be a great place to eat at but seems like the owners just have up on the place.

They are coming back into their youth! They have started hiring people outside family for wait staff and have changed cooks a few times. If you havent been in the last 4 months, you should give it another shot. Dinner time is the best time to go.

Fixed plate 9f food..sat down to eat and roaches covered my plate..found out they were pouring out of the stacked plates at end of bar..it was sickening..The place needs cleaning..the roof needs fixing..tables are sticky..chairs are nasty..use to be a really nice place to eat..but they eont put money back into restaraunt to keep it clean

Disgusting. Dirty. The fresh food they were bringing out looked really old. The stack of clean dishes had food in them already. The guy up front was nice.

Came into Hong Kong buffet right at 3:00 when it changes to dinner. But the manager says lunch was still out so we could still eat lunch. But when l payed he clames a misunderstanding and charges me for dinner. Lost my business over 4 bucks!

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Spent close to $100.00...for a family of 8. None of us..liked the food...after paying, and enter g the car to leave....3 of us started vomiting....5 minutes down the road..every single one of us was on the side of the road sick as a dog...ice cream is spoiled, and food was cold..even the soup...also there were roaches crawling around...never again will in return to this establishment

We visit chinese restaurants very often. This place none of us could enjoy the food. Was a kind of waste of money.service is good, but food surely needs improvement.

The food was absolutely horrid. Spring rolls and other food on the buffet were burnt, food was not hot or fresh. The salad bar consisted of a handful of wilted lettuce, same goes for the veggies. Its obvious the owners dont care about serving good food. Its a miracle we didnt get food poisoning.

Got there at 11 a.m. and assumed the food would be fresh. It seemed to be reheated leftovers from the previous night and barely warm. The spring rolls were burnt, the rice was hard as if it had been refrigerated and the overall quality was sub-par.

I agree with Stan. The people were nice but the food taste like****. Everything off the bar the wrong temp, cold!!! Im pretty sure we will be sick later on today. Sushi was edible and the raw broccoli but everything else nasty. Chocolate ice cream taste like spoiled milk and Macaroni salad was tainted. Never again
