Honey Roll & Sushi - Sushi restaurant in Azusa, United States
We called to place an order 30 min before closing, and the food was ready as soon as we got their and they still allowed us to eat in. Very nice people and service and the quality of the food is great and very delicious!! My favorite and what I always order is the short beef ribs and OMG theyre so freaking good, and my sisters love the double smoked pork belly. And their Boba teas are the best in my opinion
Quick service and decent pricing. The average rating is based on the taste of the food. Pretty bland. The bento box concept is great, but the sacrifice is flavor. Good, not great. Has potential.
The double cooked pork belly absolutely smacks. This place is the closest youll get to authentic Chinese food in Indianapolis in my opinion.
In 2019 the Pao Pao sauce changed my life, i’ve never had any food that’s genuinely life changing and i’ve been driving 30 minutes there and back to get this sauce. I get the pao pao bowl with tofu, noodles/rice, and extra sauce. Nothing in this world compares to this sauce. I’m stressing everybody to try it, i need this served at my wedding, my funeral, etc. nothing compares to it. I was changed the day i tried this sauce, please. go. get. it. Love u bento pao pao sauce
Its a great deal for the money. You get a lot of variety on one plate. But honestly, the food is not up to par with with other sushi places in the area.
My kids love their Beef Stew Udon and milk tea boboa!! Whats not to love, authentic Chinese Beef Stew plus Japanese Udon noodle. Best fusions! They have authentic Chinese dishes as well, the ones on the white board inside the store. Speedy and friendly service.
I love the portion sizes and the food is really flavorful
Very good authentic Chinese taste restaurant in the downtown area. The only con is the price is going 30% higher in these year, which stops me from visiting here as often as I used to.
Pretty good food all around.
Pretty Terrible, went out on a date night, we both ended up with food poisoning, would not recommend
the best chinese restaurant in Indianapolis
We read several reviews and decided not to try. Cannot believe the stacked review set, so trying to balance it out.
Fast friendly average Chinese food with fresh sushi. Sweetheart roll is my fave. Near college campus and gets busy. Very good prices.
Weve eaten here MANY times...so its definitely worth going. The food here is great and borderline authentic (thats a compliment). Heck...if they didnt put so many pieces of those inedible little peppers in the spicy dishes, Id rate them 5 stars.Maybe they should leave the peppers whole...or grind them...just sayin
Looking for a fairly priced bento box? This would be the perfect place. overall flavor was okay. gotta love the fried wonton cheese and the japanese salad on the sushi plate. other than that, they serve both japanese and chinese foods.
This place is a hidden gem for authentic Chinese food. Ask for their traditional Chinese menu. My favorite is their stir-fry pork belly. Its crispy, sweet and a bit spicy - goes so well with white rice! 🤤
I had the general taos bento box. 👩🍳, delicious!
Unexpectedly good. The udon was flavorful (not bland broth like most other restaurantsand a broad variety of ingredients (see photoand declared as probably the best udon my co airport traveller has had. Also the variety plate had a tadty and filling sampling including sushi, rice, vegs, etc. This was a welcome change from typical airport food fare and would buy again.
One of my family’s go-to places. Never really disappointed with our orders :We don’t really get Chinese restaurant food that often cause my grandma just can cook it herself but when she isn’t in the mood for cooking but we want Chinese food- we come here.
Good portion size. Food was fresh! Loved it
My favorite Chinese take out spot! Their bento’s are great and so in their mango boba! Their sushi is reasonable as well.
Bento Bistro has an awesome selection of bento boxes that taste delicious and meld seamlessly. They also have an amazing Boba tea selection with tapioca, red, and green pop Boba. I highly recommend 👌.
Seriously amazing! The packing is A1 and the taste is even better! 10 out of 10 I do recommend
Stopped for dinner on our way out last night and it was okay. We ordered the chicken fried rice from the kids menu, a pineapple fried rice and the Udon stir fry. The pineapple stir fry is served in a pineapple shell which is aesthetically pleasing, but my partner felt like it was not a decent portion. The Udon was good taste wise. I didn’t like that it was soggy, like the noodles were not drained before they were cooked. It ended up being a little soupy which I didn’t like. They also serve boba teas and smoothies. I had a passion fruit green tea which was great: a little too sweet but nothing some extra water couldn’t fix
Awesome prices and great food, including a selection of Bento boxes, sushi, soups, noodles, and American-Chinese dishes. They also offer boba/bubble tea and asian style smoothies! You can carry out or do delivery on a variety of platforms; I believe their dine-in is temporarily on hold due to COVID restrictions.
Disgusting!!! My daughter was eating her food & found a piece of hair in her food. I read another review of this same issue. Maybe the staff should start covering their hair!!! That made my stomach turn & I threw away our food...DO BETTER!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
I ordered from here today for the first time and it will be the last. Im sorry for the nagative review and I wouldnt normally say anything but in this same purchase I noticed two different pieces of hair hidden in my orange chicken. Dont get me wrong the food taste good but the health and safety practices are not. I will NOT be spending any more money here again.
This is the best place in Indianapolis that serves Asian food. I always get the sweet and sour spare ribs. They never miss with the food. However, to the patrons of this place: it is an ethnic spot. Don’t be shocked to see people of many hues there. Just eat the food you paid for. They serve all kinds. Learn to come together.
Love this little place. You know its good when its almost always busy and more than half the customers are Asian. The teriyaki chicken is awesome and the beef udon soup is delicious.
They serve both Asian fusion and authentic Chinese dishes. Price is decent compared with the portion. Three cup chicken and cumin lambs are must tries if you want some thing other than the Americanized Chinese dishes.
Delicious, good prices. So far I have had the Thai Basil shrimp bento box
Very pleased with this experience. My spouse has order their bento boxes several times and loves them. I am not into sushi so i ordered other items. They were very willing to accommodate a nontraditional order and it was made to perfection. Price was appropriate for the food, quality and location. Definitely adding to my list of go-to options for lunch.
We stopped on our way out of Indy. We all loved very much the food. The place was not busy at all and the service was quick. Portions plenty and using the bento box concept to build what is basically a combo meal that includes a Suchi roll, a spring roll and cream cheese wonton of popular Chinese and Japanese favorites was clever and the boxes they use holds a really good amount of food.
Great place for milk tea and bento boxes but wouldnt suggest ordering their full Chinese dishes from the menu. The meat is only chewy and is somewhat tasteless. The seasoning for the dishes is also average and rice is sort of dry. Might come again.
One of the most underrated places in Indy. The food was phenomenal and really affordable, I will definitely go back!
Bento box for the win .. next time I will have to grab more spring rolls they are soooo good. Sweetest gal answered my call modified my sushi w/out issue & recognized me by my voice .. food was ready to go-no wait on my take out and the dumplings were the best I’ve ever had.
THIS RESTAURANT IS AMAZING! Me and my boyfriend came here while we were passing through town and Im glad we did! the staff is kind and the food is fresh and delicious! 10/10
The dumpling were probably the best Ive ever had. I will eat there when ever I am in town (an hour awayI even put in a second order to eat for dinner .. lol but ate them before dinner! Their tempura shrimp sushi was great also.
Great food, healthy portions & good clean service!
Delicious, authentic Chinese dishes that you can order! They are written on the board in both Chinese and English. I ordered the sour cabbage fish!
Most affordable bento boxes in the city hands down! They are quick and full of flavor. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. My husband would eat here everyday if I let him!
Great portion for an even better price, but the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp bento box, extra rice instead of sushi and no zucchini. It smelled great and was hot, but the flavor just wasn’t there. Meat was rubbery and outnumbered by veggies, and the rice was slightly mushy and bland. Also, their yum yum sauce is disgusting - far too sweet, almost like syrup - luckily they didn’t charge extra for it like some places. The only thing that was relatively tasty was the cheese wonton, but it wasn’t good enough for me to this restaurant return any time soon. I’d much rather spend the extra money/drive the extra distance for higher quality hibachi.
I truly enjoy the warming restaurant and the delusions meals prepared at this establishment. Always a go to place either on lunch or just going to study in between classes - this a must. Affordable food, great beverage, and warming customer service. I did however, had one bad experiences when I served seafood when I ask for dietary changes to a certain dish. I assumed it was because of misunderstanding, but nonetheless the food is always good. I’ll actually be stopping by today :)
Beef budon was very bland and uninventful - Lolo had the teriyaki bento box and it was ehhh... Service is below average
I ordered the pineapple 🍍 house fried rice, sweet taste and to many pineapples however it was very good I would order again just without pineapples.
Delicious food at very good prices. A great value for pretty much everything you order. I had the pink lady roll and then ordered the mango sauce chicken and veggie stir fry to go. Nice staff as well. My main complaint is not specific to this place but to many Chinese restaurants which serve cream cheese wontons (they came as a side to my orders). I realize many people like them but to me, they are absolutely gross--a culinary nightmare which you will not find in Chinese food in China.
I cannot day enough good things about this place! It is the BEST Asian food I have had in all of Indianapolis. I get their hibachi rice with shrimp and it is enough for TWO meals! Their portions are great and the food taste amazing. Also, I am super picky on spring rolls but these ones are perfect! 👌🏼
Food: not bad but not great either. Portions: good. Service: very slow. We stood at the counter for 15 minutes before we could give our order (they were getting orders on the phone). Then waited quite a bit more for our food too. Although our two orders were the same except the choice of meat, my friends order never came. Friend went up to ask and they said they had thought it was for takeaway and it was sitting all packed up at the counter instead 💁💁
Excellent spot for a quality quick bite in a casual atmosphere. The sushi is well prepared, the rice and noodle dishes are generously portioned, and service is quick. PLUS you can get a bubble tea in loads of different flavors. I recommend the crazy tuna roll with a Thai Iced bubble tea. A+
This is one of my favorite dinner places in Indy! The sushi is fantastic, and very reasonably priced. Honey roll bento box pictured here.
