Honey Bea's Cafe - Cafe in Madingou, Republic of the Congo
Really nice cafe located in Winchcombe on the outskirts of Cheltenham, I popped in prior the visiting Sudeley Castle and had a fruit scone and latte which were both really nice. Well worth a visit.
Good little find on a club cycle ride, Old fashion styled tea room with coffee and cake. The kitchen was closed that day, but the cake selection meant there was something for everyones taste. Great to have loose tea in a pot, perfect for the second cup.
First class hosts. Thank you from #ourfcc.co.uk
Great little breakfast in pretty surroundings.
Busy tea shop with friendly staff and great selection of cakes. Suitable for just a tea or coffee or add cake or a scone or something hot for breakfast or lunch. Can become busy but the staff are generally very efficient and offer a warm welcome and service. Walkers and dogs are welcomed.
Awesome dining experience. Good food serve by beautiful staff . Kind and loving.Theres also a resident artist Georgia, whos not only one of the kindest persons of met, but her work is outstanding! I bought her work becausee of her unique sence of illusion and combined with her craft it really draws you in .Totally recommend this place to any one . 😀
It’s a really pretty and cozy little Café. The cake was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommended!
A lovely cafe . Very friendly staff. Beautiful food. So nice our 8yr old wanted to go every day. Its dog friendly as well. Recommend.
Service a little slow to begin with and prices a tad high, but food reasonable
After doing a 13 mile trek on Saturday 16th July. We stopped here for tea and scones . Mmmm proper tea in a pot . And the best tasting scone I have ever had .
We just had a pot of tea and a scone but it was all very nice, served by pleasant staff in well laid out surroundings .
Fantastic cakes and nice employees. Great spot after a long walk in the Cotswolds.
Wonderful coffee and lovely fresh cakes including gluten free. Parked our bikes off the road down the side alley. Overall excellent!
Couldnt fault it. Well run, excellent scone of the day (apricot). Just had coffees and the scone. Both the americano and cappucino were good and offered with a variety of milks. They also offer outside seating in a small garden area if the weather allows.Table service.
Lovely scone and a really good cup of tea.
Very welcoming. Lovely cafe, friendly staff. We sat outside in the courtyard, delicious coffee, and outstanding home made cakes.Highly recommended.😄
Lovely proper tearoom. Stopped for coffee and cake. Tasty cakes are all home-made, generous portions. Savoury lunch menu was varied (soup, sandwiches and toastiesbut wed already eaten so might go back before we leave The Cotswolds.
Absolutely charming little tearoom. Dog friendly (with treat), delicious toasties, soup, and savoury croissant. Followed by a mouthwatering warm apricot scone and jam and cream with a pot of leaf tea and tiramisu sponge to take away. A jewel in Winchcombe s crown.
Lovely cosy cafe we stumbled across. Great service and amazing tea, yes we loved the tea. So much so that we came back the next day just for it and had the fruit scones which were amazing! Only regret is not being able to stay longer for lunch.
Took quite a time for our order to be taken. The tea was nice. My wife says her fruit cake tasted nice but it looked odd as all the fruit was at the bottom, Mary would be marking it down. My Victoria sponge was nice but I felt it was a very thin slice for £3.60. Said all this to the lady who took our money and got no reaction at all. Shame as it seemed a nice place.
Clean, friendly, great coffee and food choice. We can’t wait to go again.
How wonderful of bea to gift us a cake and coffee while walking a memorial walk for my ex partner son. I am currently walking the entire UK coast path solo for mental health charity MIND 3,400 miles done and took a break to do this special walkThe cake and coffee was incredibly tasty thank you so much I fully recommend this treasure on the Cotswold way.
This was our first visit, We ordered plain scones with jam, clotted cream and tea and coffee. A word of praise about the warmed homemade scones which were delicious. The tea was made using loose leaf tea and was very good and my companion had a fkat white which was also very good. Well done Honey Beas
Great stop off for coffee and cakes but also a good menu choice. Additionally sells bee related products.
A good atmosphere, complimenting the wonderful Town that is Winchcombe. We had one of the best Ham & Cheese Croissant with a truely crispy fresh salad.Excellent, thank you 🌹
Such a wonderful café, delicious mince pies and lovely atmosphere. Made me (and my two small children!feel very welcome. Highly recommend and will be visiting again very soon ☺️
Had breakfast here this morning. Two wet hikers with a muddy dog and they couldnt have made us feel more welcome. The food was amazing, especially those sausages... Cant recommend enough
Lovely toasties and 5 different choices of hot chocolate ! Nice and cosy inside with good WiFi too
Very welcoming cafe. They made us and our dog very welcome. Coffees and cakes were lovely. Even the dog got given a biscuit!!
Lovely fresh plain scone, kindly cut in half with separate jam and cream to share. Washed down with an excellent cup of tea. The other cakes looked good too.
We were looking for lunch and considered all the pubs etc. as we passed them. At the far end of the town we came across this gem. The staff were so friendly and efficient. The food was exceptional, home-made soup with warm bread roll for me and soup and a hearty sandwich for my husband. I followed with a piece of feather light Victoria sponge (he had no room left!). We could not help admiring the attention to detail given to the decor which blended beautifully with the name of the Cafe.Next time we are in Winchcombe we will make a bee-line for here. Canot recommend it highly enough.
Weve visited plenty of cafe/restaurants over the past few weeks during our 2021 staycation and have had several cream teas. These were the best of all of them. Delicious fruit scones, jam full of fruit and thick clotted cream, all served with a good blend of leaved tea. Plenty of cakes on offer which we didnt try. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Winchcombe.
Visited here last Wednesday with the wife. Had tea, Cappuccino and cake. Lovely place, friendly staff and gorgeous fresh cake.
Popped in for coffee and scones. Absolutely fabulous scones, melt in the mouth scrummy - I had fruit and my friend had cheese. Coffee was good and strong and the jam I had with my scone was exceptionally nice too. Friendly, prompt service, pleasant quaint surroundings and a clean loo so would defo recommend!
Extremely accommodating. Fantastic customer service. Didnt moan that we came in 10mins before closing time. No charge for cake is it was the last piece which was small. Treats for the dogs. Top class will revisit.
Great GF & Dairy Free selection. Tasty, fresh food. Super loose leaf tea and excellent coffee.
The cafe is delightful, had the scone of the day (lavenderwhich was amazing. They have only been going a couple of years and am so glad they made it through 2020. Would definitely go back if I was on the area again.
What a gem of a find. Best scrambled egg, on beautiful buttered toast I have ever had. Lovely family run, well organised ace to stop.
Such a lovely place to meet and eat. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu is varied and the food is delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Lovely cafe after a walk. Good to cakes and real tea. 🙂
We had a lovely afternoon cream tea here today. We ordered a plain scone and a fruit scone, both were delicious - crunchy on the outside and crumbly on the inside. Clotted cream and jam were just as tasty! Highly recommend dropping by if you’re visiting the area.
After a 6 mile walk and with sore feet, I found the Honey Bea Cafe still open as dusk descended on Winchcombe. Not far off closing, they let me take my time over a delicious fruity tea, homemade cheese scone with lashings of butter and a fresh crisp side salad. I felt refreshed and pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food. Scrumptious! Lovely people too. Definately worth a visit if you are in Winchcombe.
Best Victoria Sponge and Orange Chocolate Brownie we have ever had! Lovely little cafe with amazing and friendly service! Would definitely recommend.
Disgusted! Our pots of tea were like weak as dishwater. We complained only to be told they were short of breakfast tea. Fancy not telling us. Did they think we would drink this. The cakes were OK and we then had coffee to drink. Disappointed visit for us.
Very nice tea room! Lovely people serving you with fresh home made produce. An array of coffees and teas, home made cakes, salads etc. Room for a wheelchair if needed.Definitely recommend this place. Certainly worth a visit!!
Dog friendly, excellent quality homemade food. Very good portions, delicious scones, cakes and sandwiches all very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and attentive. Very busy with great atmosphere. Walkers welcomed.
I took my mother for a nice lunch there this afternoon. Lovely atmosphere, staff and café. Food was delicious and well portioned. Dog friendly and if you would like they have treats for your dog.If you are ever in Winchcombe I would highly recommend you visit the café.
Such a lovely spot on a hit day. Service was perfect and we had extra scones with our tea. Great chat with the proprietor about Tudor 16th century architecture. Highly recommend this airy and bright spot for refreshment
Popped in today on the way through Winchcombe as it says 32 steps from the junction (if you spot the board you will know what I mean😊It is a lovely place nice and open not congested with tables well thought out. We had coffee and cakes and both were cracking good portioned cakes and big cup of coffee even the cups were nice design. Well worth a visit if you are in town.
I visited this cafe today with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend, and my two Border Terriers. We had a lovely experience and could not recommend it more highly. The food was delicious - and all homemade - and the portion size very generous. The coffee was truly excellent, and the cakes and scones all fresh and delicious. In addition the ambience was really super, immaculate with a little thoughtful and original details, including some nice artwork on the walls. It is a small little place full of character - as many other buildings in this little town. There is a wonderful inglenook fireplace and beams too.The welcome was very genuine, despite the fact we were dripping wet and had two dogs with us.We were very pleased to discover it ... i just wish I had such a quality cafe as delightful as this in my home town!Do not hesitate to go and savour its delights.
