Nice place inexpensive food tasted a little bland & deserts where beyond super sweet. But other than that its a nice little place. This was up when when walked in. Beautiful memorial to Kobe & his daughter Gianna

Top of the list the caulking on the men’s room wash basin is black - how many germs can you imagine live on this - imagine what the unseen kitchen surfaces must look like.Very boring food choices - at least at lunch - and the soft-serve ice cream dispenser is inoperable and just sitting there. I asked the manager about it and he just stood there with an “I don’t give an F” attitude.NO comparison with Golden Corral and sadly the CV doesn’t have one altho a sign off the freeway in Indio promises one so go to one of the casino buffets instead.

The manager was extremely helpful and matched the price advertised online, even though the add ended up being not sponsored by them. The food was flavorful. The place was clean, including restrooms.

I havent tried Home Town Buffet in a few years a decided to try this one out. They have a nice selection in all areas with various meats, vegetables, taco, salad and desert bars. Drinks are an extra two something and not included with your buffet. They do have a lunch special that has drink included before 4pm. They also have a dollar off for senior discount (> 60 years).Honestly, the all-you-can-eat buffet was pretty decent for the price, but after comparing top-of-the-line buffets in Vegas, at over double the price, Town Buffet barely compares. So Id like to compliment them for offering a good value, but I also want to let people know where it sits in comparison, which is pretty average and the food likely wont wow you. The service was excellent however and the restaurants cleanliness was above par.

Three of us went at 7pm it wasnt too crowded so that was nice I was bummed out tho because the icee machine was turned off and not many places have cherry my favorite. The food was pretty good and the staff was friendly.

Good selection of food. Quality of food is good for this type of establishment. Good value for money paid. Staff was friendly, lots of free parking.

food was not looking too fresh, soda machine was half working, sloppy desert machine- no i wouldnt even risk it. Maybe it was a slow day and I happened to go when everything was wilting or turning ice cold...7pm on a Tuesday....friend chicken was only ok. very disappointed.

You walk in and it smells like movie theater ..musky and dirty. The bathroom is very very dirty, even the walls are dirty. I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. The health department should inspect. The drink machines are probably slimy inside. The female empyoyee grabbed some food with her hands from the buffet and put it in her mouth. The food taste like prepacked premade food. We would never come back again.

I will never come bk to this place. Dirty. The ladies restroom is disgusting. Bathroom stalls are grouse dirty. Same with the doors. Floor dirty. Food either came out of a bag or a can. I can only imagine the kitchen. Service was bad as they all gathered talking about their upcoming weekend. Now I remember why I hadnt been back in 5 yrs. The health department needs to be called out!Never again!!!! And their prices arent cheap!

Excellent, they have been around a long time, which says something right there. It is good value eating - plenty of food and a very comfortable environment!

Nice variety of food and drink. Areas containing food were kept stocked and clean. Used dishes were cleared quickly. I will eat here again without hesitation.

Weve been coming here a long time but it seemed they couldnt get anything right this time.The ice cream was runny. The popcorn shrimp was overcooked. The meat carving station was vacant. The cake at the end redeemed our visit but only added one star

Im really sorry to say but it was disgusting.Im nostalgic about the place eating there with my family, but When I ate a bite of that steak it was so stuck together half of it was in my mouth and the other half was not going down, stuck to some meat glue or something.I thought I was being a baby about it and I kept trying to stomach it but after my second bite it couldnt even break it apart with the fullest force of my jaw. It was horrible. Im in the car after shopping and my stomach is still turned upside down by the meat. The chef needs to do quality food inspections because that was awful.

Great buffet. Always fresh as very busy so food turned over quickly. Good sushi and wide variety of Chinese and American food. Snow crab legs and oysters Rockefeller always available. Great value for money. Inside is cafeteria style but so what!

It was ok..salad fixings were good, the entrees looked good. Veggies were perfect, but the dessert not so good. The ice cream machine was dirty and the cakes and pies were dry and hard.

Never going to eat there again. Nasty and unsanitized.

Always a good place to go to to eat. Nice varity, good presentation.Only negative, the fried chicken was WAYYYY over done.Nice dessert choices, salads are fresh..ummm even on a hot day the soups are reallly good.

Despite being understaffed, the employees keep a pleasant attitude towards everyone. Its Hometown Buffet so food wise you get what youd expect. They did have a promotion for $2.99 add on for a 6oz sirloin steak. Surprisingly it was cooked to the expected temperature and wasnt bad at all. If you go, leave a tip even if its a small one. I observed that the employees float to whatever is needed (register, bussing tables etcand help each other out. They definitely deserve a little for themselves.

My husband and I find Home Town Buffet a great palace to eat. staff very friendly and professional. We both enjoy the array of different types of foods and seafood that is available for the customer. Atmosphere is great and homey. Thank you for such great food and very wonderful service.

What used to be a great bargain is now barely marginal. Food choices are not as numerous or as good. Smaller crowds, less interesting selections, and charging extra for beverage indicate less than helpful changes.

My Valentines day Dinner was spent here due to no reservations on time. I had a pleasant evening. They made it family friendly and had a kids raffle.

Plenty of food that was bland and tastless. Had several items that were inedible. Prime rib was a well done roast. Silverwear looked like clean and dirty were mixed and placed out for service. We went there because it had been a favorite of Mom in the past. No longer...

About what youd expect from a buffet-style restaurant. Food isnt bad, but may be difficult for people with dietary restrictions. Thankfully, not too hard to find something the kids might eat. Decent enough to have a conversation, except if the place is packed. Service is pretty good, not sure how it is when they are really busy.

Went on 1-29-19 around 5pm. The food was great, but the restaurant had an awful odor. It smelled like stale urine everywhere we tried to sit. It was so overwhelming we couldnt finish our food. We usually enjoy our trips there, and the staff is always friendly. But I dont think I will ever be able to return after that.

Wow, was I shocked. Have been going there for years when I am in the area. And Last Night my wife and I and two family members stopped by for Dinner, and the only thing that tasted good was the milk. The facility was clean like always, and the employees were Great. But the food was non Palatable.(oh, and my wife said the bathrooms were dirty).

Really good good at an affordable price. We paid $50 for a group of 6. My family enjoyed the many different variety of foods too chose from. The tables were clean and the staff are on top of everything. Great service

Good price for too much food! In a good way. Food is good, for the price, and selection is wide. You can eat a salad and vegetables dishes and not be board with the options, or you could go full carnivore and be overwhelmed with a cornucopia of meat choices. Not the prime cuts but for what you pay its respectable.

The food was OK to good. Everything else was terrible. All of the plates were brought from the kitchen still wet. After getting my first plate of food I discovered there was no silverware. By the time that was brought out my food was cold. The majority of patrons were, lets just say, not my crowd. Ill never go back.

Best food for the price in all the valley; especially for seniors and veterans! The staff is friendly and professional, and they do a great job keeping all the food stocked and fresh. They even send out coupons when you join their e-club, or if you live in the area. Will go back often.

Food is ok every mon. Is vets day. You and two people get on that ticket. The atmosphere is wonderful especially if you a regular - as i am at the palm desert location next to Chucky Cheese.

Pretty good buffet and cheap. It has the necessary food for a good launch , which that was the time I visited. The service was good and I am pretty sure its a family own business. Still, everything it look pretty clean and food was tasty.

This place is gone downhill, it wasnt that good to begin with but the stakes are not edible, you cannot chew them! so you just throw them away. Its run down and dirty the foods not fresh, just cant compare to current offerings by other buffets, needs a makeover, new menu, contemporary food handling and sourcing for freshness and quality, without that Im afraid this place is doomed :-(

The only good thing at this place was the cashier was friendly and the lady that picked up our plates was really nice. This place has gone down in cleanliness. The bathrooms were horrible and the drinking cups have seen their days. For the food is was ok. Too many kids helping themselves to the food and not enough adult supervision. It just looks really run down. Wouldnt go back again.

Good selection of food but too many flys. Went to grab a cheesecake and backed off when I seen flys all around. The workers just stand and talk towards the back should be rotating food and keeping the food fly free

I had a small spinach salad (that I was able to eat all of), mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, a roll (which was completely mushy and doughy when I pulled it out of the pan), and chips with natcho cheese. The potatoes and nachos I took one bite of and couldnt stomach. I pulled a piece of the bread off and it was so...pastey soggy disgusting looking and feeling that I was afraid to even try it. This meal that, as I type is making me feel sick, cost my husband and I $40. We thought that the last time we came, about 2 years ago, that it was a fluke that it tasted horrible but, in fact, it was no fluke. Just went to the restroom here to throw up and another woman was doing the same. The bathroom is utterly disgusting, by the way. Toilet paper all over the floor, soap all over the sink and floor, unflushed toilets and poop smeared on the wall. This isnt a good place to eat at all.

I love how comfortable you can feel with the family and kids. I love the variety of foods and the salads are so delicious!

Was pretty horrible for a friday night. Went to get prime rib and there was just a small end piece left and they would not bring out a fresh prime rib. They just cut the last piece and dunked it in juice, was still old and dry. Shortly after they brought out a half a prime rib and it looked horrible. They also sell you a slushy to go cup for 99 cents and dont tell you that the slushy machine is broken, this would be the second time.Besides that most of the food was empty and had to scrape the pans. Other meats I saw being dipped in gravy or juice by staff because it has been sitting out for so long.Only reason I did not give one star is because the deserts were pretty good and plenty of it. Food wise I would recommend any other buffet in the valley. This buffet you walk into it can xan feel that they have hit a low point.Tables and everything were pretty clean though.

I love going there on Mondays because they offer a huge discount to those who have served in the military. The food is "all you can eat" and offers a very large selection of great fruits, vegetables and meats. My favorite is the cheese enchiladas. After you have stuffed yourself you can head for the dessert bar for some great choices of cookies, cakes, ice cream, etc.

Ive been here twice now for lunch. The first time there were few labels on the glass sneeze guards to tell you what you were looking at (that wasnt obvious). Again, today was similar. The front door handle and area surrounding it is ugly dirty. They also dont clean the blinds where the little kiddies have obviously reached or the glass on the picture frames either. Im guessing there are no mystery shoppers coming here or in-house inspectors - it would never pass an American cleanliness inspection. Food is, for the most part, good. Waitresses are friendly. The set up of the food selection leaves some scratching of the head. Who would guess that applesauce would be found at the salad bar, for example?

We ate here tonight and were very happy. The roast beef was cooked well, the salad bar was fresh and delicious. Between us we sampled almost everything on the buffet. Nothing disappointed and to find a place that served all our needs for under $15 per person was great. I would recommend this place to travelers and families with kids

There was an extreme lack of utensils.. all the food looking like it came out of a can probably because it did the desserts were extremely tiny kids portions but thats okay. But $40 was too much to pay for a lunch consisting of blah meals

Im rating it a one star because its not possible to not rate it at least one. This place has been the worst place I have ate this year. The service was horrible and the food was cold and had no flavor no matter what it was we had. Our waiter never came to our table, and it wasnt busy at all. If youre thinking about going to this buffet DO NOT!! It made me and my significant other very sick.

Could not get my birthday dinner I signed up for it could not find it I brought 10 people with me paid for all. Sorry experience, so many items were empty. Happy 58 birthday to me ha ha. Had to use rating stars would not otherwise

My family, my great grandmother, my extended family, and I all have enjoyed this buffet. Not only is it affordable, but the wide variety of food and quality keeps us coming back! Try their thanksgiving stuffing, it rules!

Way better location then most iv been to back home. Clean, spacious, fresh food, chairs and tables in good condition and clean.

If the only thing I can do is encourage others not to eat at this location then I would be satisfied. Quality of food is worse than terrible selection is worse than terrible the dumpster in the back probably has better selection and better food quality. And then to top it all off when you look up at the ceiling tiles in this restaurant you know exactly why you should leave immediately hope we didnt get food poisoning

I went here with my honey and kids. We loved the service. They were super friendly, they came to our table plenty of times to clear the plates and asked if we needed anything else. I loved how friendly they were I had to let the manager know. Will definitely come back again.

Let me tell you about this place , this place was absolutely disgusting on mommas. I couldve got a better meal at McDonalds for 1/4 of the price . Worst 15 dollars I have ever spent in my life , pizza was dry and tasted like cardboard and one bite from the macaroni and YE didnt almost puke

Went last evening with 4 other friends, disgusting is all that comes to mind. There were children helping themselves to food with their hands, adults reusing their plate over and over, young children standing on unused tables adjacent to their parents. Not to mention a mother attempting to change a diaper on the table,( till we gave her a disgusting look), she then went else where. The soda machine would not turn off after use. None of these issues were addressed in any way by your staff, treating is as normal and expected. The health department would have you CLOSED in no time.
