Its foundation is so strong despite of being so old. The church looks so beautiful from inside and is well maintained from outside . The Parish Priest (Fr. Patras Mundu is very nice and people who belong to this parish are also kind. Do visit here and recieve blessings of Jesus Christ.

This church is more than 100 years old, it still has very strong foundation. Nearest to Ambala cantt railway station or Bus stand. Do visit here during Christmas to see the beauty. It is believed that this church was built during British and it shows it beauty of that time. Very nice place.
Very nice atmosphere all around , beautiful gardens and very clean environment
My great grandmother, Ellen Margaret Rodgers, was baptised here on 5th April 1866.
One of the oldest monuments in Ambala Cantt. reminiscent of the British Era in India. It is a catholic church built in 1848. It collapsed after sometime and a new church was constructed in 1902 and was even visited by Lord Ripon. The church also a reading room and a dispensary.
When most people hear the word church they probably think of a building. Maybe it is a fancy building or a simple building where believers gather. But biblically speaking, a church is much more than a building. In fact, some would say that the church is not a building at all, but is all about the people. But what is the church? The area of theology that seeks to understand all aspects of the church is known as ecclesiology. It is derived from the Greek word ekklesia that is a general term referring to a gathering or assembly. There are a number of aspects to the subject of ecclesiology, but this article will focus on defining the term church, understanding its nature and purpose, looking at some biblical images of the church and emphasizing church unity on essential truths. The early Christian church had no buildings, at least not in the sense of what we would consider church buildings today. First century Christians were often persecuted and, as a result, often met in secret usually in homes. As the influence of Christianity spread, eventually buildings dedicated to worship were established and became what we know today as churches. In this sense, then, the church consists of people not buildings. Fellowship, worship and ministry are all conducted by people, not buildings. Church structures facilitate the role of God’s people, but they do not fulfill it.

Very old church... located near bus stand.Maintenance is good. Clean place..
Nice place peaceful environmentIt was built in 1848 when troops of East India Company were transferred from Karnal to Ambala under the British rule. This Catholic Church also features two rooms initially made for the troops, which are used as a dispensary and a reading room at present. The church was visited by Lord Ripon, the only Catholic Viceroy of India, during his visit to Shimla. Church collapsed and a new church was constructed at the same place between 1902- 1905. There is a memorial stone, marking the site of the high altar of the old Church to the north of the present church. The new church has a huge tower, sturdy pillars and elevated Gothic roof.
Nice churchOld but goldWell maintainedClean area
Peaceful and holy place..:)
Please share the mass timings on Sunday. I want to attend the mass.
Its a historical church in region of Air Force. Its definitely a place to visit. Maintenance is average. Decoration and arrangements are perfect for every festival. A must visit place.
British church situated in army area. Its an old church but well maintained. On a week day you can visit only compound . But on Sunday mass happens here. It witness heavy rush on Christmas. You can see colonial pews here with space inbetween to put rifles. There are some other things which would remind you of old world.
A very nice place for peace of mind needed for concentration...
A historical place of worship .a historical piece of art. Its well maintained . loved to be here.
Historical place to roam around feels very authentic tic and peaceful
Good place for Christmas celebration in Ambala cantt
Poorly maintained and overly preachy priest. This is a major historical landmark that dates back to the British occupation. Definitely should be taken care of keeping that in mind.
Great placeAlso a tourist attraction
