Different architecture in the city center, beautiful and calm place
Mary was a first-century Galilean Jewish woman of Nazareth, the wife of Joseph, and the mother of Jesus, according to the canonical gospels and the Quran
You must be obey the rules about wearing in the churches. Community care too much this.
Was under construction while there. Not a very friendly and open place. Was very beautiful and is a must see if you enjoy looking at architecture like this. Also is good for cultural understanding.
Really beautiful church outside and inside. Is perfect for who loves to take nice pictures.
I love Christian architectures. If you came to batumi I reccomend it would to see it
The Church of the Mother of God in Batumi is a Georgian Orthodox cathedral, originally built as a Catholic church early in the 1900s. Batumi Holy Mother Virgins Nativity Cathedral was built in 1897 with with financial support of well-known brothers Zubalashvilebi. The three-domed church is constructed in pseudo-gothic style. After Georgia regained his independence the building was handed to Orthodox Church. Supposedly the stones changes color according to the weather which gives it additional mystery.
These churches always enable me to reflect. Always good to see worshipping places.

A huge and interesting building. It is best to visit daily.
In my opinion the most beautiful building in Batumi. Once it was Catholic, now its Eastern Orthodox.
Quite ugly building, with no charm, and quite dirty. I even didnt go into. So much better places to see in Georgia and in Batumi.
Not Very interesting but the nuns here are very serious
Absolutely stunning ancient church set in the middle of great scenery! One will feel like they have gone centuries back.
Historical but maintained infrastructure. It was nice to visit a Church and see religious activities being performed.
Beautiful cathedral, walt to visit every time im in town
The Church of the Mother of God - Visually Catholic, Neo-Gothic style with three domes, but Orthodox Church, built in 1897 in Batumi, Georgia.
Beautiful inside out
Gothic soul and architecture in Batumi, everyone should visit this cathedral
The biggest Catholic church in Batumi.
Very nice place to witness the religious practices in Georgia. Peaceful and quiet. Most of the time open for visits but there are often ceremonies, so you shouldnt act like a tourist inside and clothing is important. You may not enter in shorts and short skirts. Ladies need to cover their heads with a scarf.
Formerly a catholic church, this is a massive orthodox church. very beautiful and located in the centre of the city.
Beautiful gothic architecture and one of my favorite building in Batumi😍

An old Orthodox church in the center of the city. Used to be a Catholic Church long time ago and then converted into a power distribution center during Soviet times.
How could someone rate 1-2-3 stars, I cant understand, one of the most beautiful buildings in the whole world! Haters!
