Nice service and atmosphere I simply love the decoration. Even though I havent tried the meat patties (as Im vegetarian), the restaurant offers vegetarian burgers which Ive really enjoyed to the fullest. Great place to go with your friends and family.Be sure to book in advance since the place is generally packed!

Very good tasty burger. Only the sandwich size is abit small. Staff are helpful and speak good English.

Foods is excellent. Just made and tasty. They even had ”student menu" !Service is 10/10, my orders were actually delayed. Then the manager aware this issue and gave us some compensate which I never ask.I will recommend for everyone to visit there .

This was an interesting burger. It certainly tasted like it was blended with some other types of meat besides cow and there was definitely some fennel in there. Also, standard seems to come with ketchup and bbq sauce, neither of which were expected or particularly welcome. Regardless, still tasted pretty good and had a beer. Really good prices for Zurich!

This does not taste like a burger. It tastes more like a sausage, probably because the meat is well cooked, soft and not grilled.It’s a tasty sausage, I’ll give you that, but far from a burger.The service is nice and extra fast and the value for money is really great in Zurich standards.

Holy Cow is a great place, especially for students, to eat take out or dine in for lunch or dinner. The student Menu offers a burger with fries and a drink for only about 18 CHF, which compared to other places is really affordable. The burger and fries taste fresh and good plus the ice tea is a great addition. The only thing that is lacking the the choice of sauces, theres only ketchup and mayo, which taste alright.

The burger is ok. The size of the menu as well. What I find very unfortunate is the coke. I eat a lot of burgers. Coke n burger is just a must. The Holy Cow Coke has even more sugar than the original Coke and doesnt really taste good. So unfortunately the Burgerexperience is also a little bland for me. Too bad about that. However, the staff did a good job and were friendly, quick and courteous.

good burger just had a confusing menu as a foreigner. accidentally got the ‘menu’ option so it came with chips and a drink. but overall good burger and good chips.

Holy yuck.It was my second time ordering Elvis burger because I really liked it before. The second time it was a big dissapointment. The meat felt like it was a really low-quality, it was dry and the taste was not the best either. The whole burger just did not feel right.The fries were good though.

My favorite burger place in Zurich. I visit here at least once a month.I love their student menu a lot :> it is affordable and tastes great. Burgers and fries are served very warm all the time. You should make cocktail sauce mixing ketchup with mayo and try it with fries. Deadly good...

Since they changed the location Im really sad. Not only the place is not as nice as the last one but the portion of chips got SUPER smaller... I loved holy cow 😭

The burgers weren’t my favorite but the fries were tasty (too many though but not a bad thing). With the menu option you get the burger, fries and a drink which was a good deal. There are lots of tables both inside and out and the staff is friendly!

Nice big burgers and delicious thick-cut chips at a competitive price. Everything sourced from Switzerland as well, even chicken and the drinks. Its often crowded though and youll have to use your hands or disposable wooden cutlery. Still good after all these years!

Delicous Burgers! Their products are all locally sourced and it really feels like a gourmet and not at all fast food kind of place! There is also a wide vegetarian selection too, so everyone is well catered for and you wong regret going there!

Good burger, not amazing, lack of staff. Went on a cold Sunday at 14 PM There was no one attending in the counter. We waited for a good 10 minutes before someone came out of the kitchen. The same people attending in the counter are cooking at the same time. The order took very low time to be delivered, actually it took them longer to take the order than deliver it. I ordered the smokey bacon cheese. The burger was tasty and the bacon crispy. Free ketchup and mayoinase at you service. The price goes according to what they offer in thecenter of Zurich. Overall this is a 6/10 and I would go there before any BKing or McDonalds for sure.

The Hobbit at 17 francs was one of the best burger Ive had in a dozen or more countries. My wife says the same about the veggie burger. Huge burgers and they dont mind holding back ingredients.Even empty it wasnt quick (twicebut worth it.

Best Fast Food Burger (excluding all posh diners!). Super fries and nice veggie burgers, although they are incredibly slow ;Perfect place to end a day at work, Uni or ETHZ. Packed during lunchtimes, so only take away between 12 and 1330.

Super yummy burgers with lots of unique toppings. The fries were really tasty too. Its the type of place where you order at the counter, they call your number, and then you take it and sit somewhere. They have a nice patio if its nice enough to sit outside. For two burgers, one fries, and one drink it was 35CHF. A little expensive for a place without table service, but I guess thats the norm in Zurich.

Good burger and fries. They sell them as a "meal" (fries and a drink, you can upgrade to alcohol if youd like). Variety of options. 4 stars because the burger was good but wed just had excellent burgers at a place in Munich that outshone these. Great burger place in Zurich! Extremely popular among tourists and the locals. The burgers were indeed really good and worth their high cost. Would highly reccommend to all burger lovers. Just a handful of options for vegetarians though. There is decent seating available as well inside.

Over-priced tourist trap. Low-quality beef. Bacon is almost non-existent. Chicken sandwich is better, but overpriced. Limited drink selection. Bad fries. Has some outdoor seating. Wouldnt share the Wi-Fi key.

Tried a many burgers with a group of friends and all were excellent. Maui Maui and Avocado burger were popular picks. The portion is good when you make it a meal but not sure that CHF5 is worth it for the upgrade. Overall great burgers and great experience.

Very nice service, all the staff was very nice and eager to help. It was a very cold day, but since there was no table available inside we ate outside. Even though I almost froze, the hamburguer was worth it. Good quality meat, very nice sauces. Hot water available in the restroom was a plus for such a cold day!

I had my dinner yesterday evening in Holy cow. I ordered a veggie burger menu. The fries were great! Soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. But the ketchup and mayo were somehow not tasty enough to complement the fries. The burger was below average for a place with such good reviews. The patty was made from beans /lentils and was quite bland. The sauce used didnt add much taste or flavor to the burger as well. Ive had better.

I painfully realized that everything in Zurich costs about twice as much as the same item in the US.This sent me on my search for cheaper food while, hopefully, not sacrificing taste.According to Yelp, this was a good place to eat without breaking the bank.I was the first customer of the day, but dont let that reflect their popularity. People seem to say good things.The cashier was helpful and friendly. She told me I was the first burger of the day. I said "that means it will be the best burger of the day." She replied "every burger is best."Man were we both about as wrong as Christopher Columbus. Im really not sure if the Swiss know what a burger is supposed to taste like. Obviously, Switzerland is a small country and full of people who immigrated from other European nations. Theres no telling who is in the kitchen.Pick any M Night Shyamalan movie and theres a 75% chance youll name one thats as disappointing as this burger.The fries were poorly done as well.This meal was not worth 18CHF. Thats about $18. Close enough.Time for some math. Cost of living and wages have a special relationship. If you take into account the fact that grocery cashiers here make $25, this meal would be about $11 in the US. Id be disappointed then too.If you see this place, keep on walking.

After reading on TripAdvisor that this joint is #40 out of over 1000 places to eat, weve had to try it out!Let me first start with the good: the fries are actually crispy and nice.The bad and the ugly is the burger.Its dry, overcooked, smells funny and looks cheap.If Ive had to eat some burger, Id go to the Burger King over at the Zurich HB.
