Memorialul Holocaustului este un monument din București, care îi comemorează cei peste 250.000 de evrei care au murit ca urmare a deportării lor în Transnistria, în 1941. Potrivit proiectului, în afară de Memorialul central, complexul cuprinde cinci sculpturi - Coloana memorială, Via Dolorosa, Roata Romilor, Steaua lui David și Epitaf.De la depărtare, în mijlocul fostului parc, acum pietruit, se vede o structură masivă de beton, care pare a fi fundația unei clădiri începute și abandonate. Pe măsură ce privitorul se apropie, se observă că de fapt structura masivă de beton se află într-o groapă și din fundație se transformă în ceva ce seamănă cu un buncăr. Pentru a coborî în groapă există niște scări foarte largi, intersectate de o rampă pentru ca și persoanele cu dizabilități să poată coborî cu scaunul cu rotile. Din acest motiv, distanța între trepte nu este constantă, astfel că vizitatorii care coboară pe scări se pot împiedica cu ușurință, putând deveni oricând beneficiari ai rampei.Coloana memorială, numită și coloana amintirilor, are o înălțime de 17 m, diametrul ei variind între 1.40 m și 1.55 m. Este turnată în fontă, iar modulii ruginiți sunt înșiruiti pe un pilon central

Great memorial.

Horrific but vastly important. Ive been both here and standing locations of the holocaust and there is nothing nice about it.

Brutal architecture made to remind us the atrocities we either suffered or committed in our past. A place to help us unite the victim and the aggressor within us and to learn the value of forgiveness.

Simple, beautiful, and haunting.

אתר הנצחה ליהדות רומניה, וגם לצוענים שנטבחו במהלך מלחה"ע השניה.במקום מספר מונומנטים שכל אחד מהם מספר סיפור אחר. חישוק הפלדה הוא מוטיב צועני, ומנציח את הקהילה שנטבחה ע"יהנאצים, שראו בהם עם נחות, כמו את היהודים, ודורגו בתחתית סולם "טוהר הגזע".למרות היוזמה הברוכה של הממשל.האתר לא מתוחזק ברמה נאותה.

They erased a park, chopped trees to build a flat terrace and a box of massive concrete and rusted steel. Extremely poor design for a monument.

De vizitat acest muzeu! Este o pagină de istorie!

Memorial erguido para que não seja esquecido o que ocorreu durante a segunda guerra mundial quando milhares de pessoas foram cruelmente assassinadas, maior parte judias. O monumento parece meio esquecido. Não recebe nenhum atrativo e a sinalização é precária.

acolo era parc. sa torni beton pt un muzeu de orice fel e o prostie.......de ce sa tai verdeata din oras? mai ales in bucuresti unde e grava situatia

Sieht eher aus wie eine Baustelle... Beim ersten Mal sind wir vorbei gelaufen und es ist uns nicht weiter aufgefallen. Im Vergleich zum Denkmal in Berlin ist das hier auf jeden Fall keinen Besuch wert...

A modest memorial for people that died under Holocaust name, mostly Jews & Rroma people (gypsies).For a more clear view of what this memorial means, visit also the Holocaust museum from the Coral temple (not very far, behind Unirii Shopping Mall)

כמו כל אתר בבוקרשט: חיפשתי אתר זיכרון ומצאתי מגרש חניה. טוב, לא עד כדי כך. יש כמה מונומנטים במקום שלא ממש ברור הקשר ביניהם ושלהם לזכרון שואת יהודי בוקרשט. הם גם לא מרשימים או יפים, והם כוללים: עמוד ברזל חלוד גבוהה, עיגול ברזל וריבוע עם מגן דוד מיתדות ברזל, וכן חדר זיכרון. אין צל במקום בכלל. האתר לזכר שואת יהודי בוקרשט כמו גם שואת הצוענים
