Hollyhock Vegetarian Fairtrade Cafe in Isleworth

The coffee is smooth and good enough - and they do have some non dairy alternatives that other cafes dont. A few cakes and sweet treats are offered.Five stars simply for the view of the river and the beautiful location in Terrace Gardens.

Love its location. I had a mac& cheese it was soo delicious and also the cappuccino was superb.I highly recommend this place and I’m definitely coming whenever I’m in Richmond.

The most lovely place, after visiting Richmond Park it was so great to seat down and enjoy a lovely view and a quiche with salad. Oh and the apple pie is simply AMAZING! You have to try it!

Hollyhock is enchanting. Beautiful weather. The selection of food is great. Yummy cakes and very good coffee. Staff are very friendly.

It is one of our new discoveries. We tried a few of the cakes and loved them.

It’s a beautiful hidden gem! :it’s got an absolutely beautiful view over the park and river.Lovely friendly smiles always welcome you! Nice food and as I am vegan, you can find a few nice things on the menu.( not much variety of food though)pastries and cakes are always delicious and fresh. The cafe has a nice vibe in summer and also winter. It is definitely one of my favorite cafes.

Our first visit to Hollyhock and were impressed on every level. The cafe is in a beautiful park setting overlooking the Thames. Plenty of seating. A wide range of delicious vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes. A great selection of drinks, pastries and cakes. Friendly and efficient staff. Will most definitely be back.

Place was alright. Nice views and ambience with a peaceful surrounding. Ordered a Chai latte which was great. Food however was average and quite pricey relative to the quality. Ordered a samosa, quiche, lasagne and vegan sausage. Photos attached. There is no table service. You have to order and take your food from the counter. Watch your steps on the way to your table!.

A lovely small local café hidden in the middle of the park. Better choice than any café on the riverside: lovely views and serenity.

I have visited this pleasant cafe for years....not anymore. I have put up with their price increases in order to try to support a local business, but enough is enough!They have now decided to charge an extra 30p if you have cows milk in your drink. Interesting concept trying to force people into choosing a milk alternative at the cheaper price. Wont be coming back, Im not prepared to be penalised for something that is a standard in most cafes. I want a proper coffee with cows milk! Now one of the most expensive cappuccinos in Richmond at £3.80..if you have real milk.

I would give this place five stars for the food, the coffee, and for the gorgeous location, but the organization is just appalling so I cannot give it more than 3 stars. There is no service at the tables so to order you have to wait in line for an infinite amount of time. If you order food and drinks you have to juggle between people, kids, animals, and what not to safely get to your table. The people working there do their best and look completely overwhelmed. I think it would be great for the owners to invest some money in some extra head count to serve at the tables. The place is always busy, people go there because they like it, but I think I wont go there again soon because the waiting time was just ridiculous.

Revisied this lovely hidden gem to experience the gorgeous cakes, amazing views, distinctive coffee and just soak up the lovely vibe of the place. Makes you feel full of joy!

Had a great coffee and a really nice piece of cake. Have a great selection of sweet and savoury snack. Best part is the view, would be a lovely place to spend some time with a book and a drink.

Stumbled across this gem whist walking by the River. Great location in the park and overlooks the River Thames. Lots of outside stting place. As its pure vegetarian you can eat what you like! They have an extensive menu to choose from. I had a falafel with mixed salads and bread roll. It was delicious! Would definitely go there again

This has been my Soul Place for 12 years. Homefrom home. A quirky hidden away spot, with a fireplace in winter, veranda to the park and river in summer. Its for locals so has a relaxed vibe, the best latte’s, and food for vegans and vegetarians. Dogs are welcomed.

Nice view, limited selection for breakfast. Scones, croissants, jam sortiment, salad bar, falafel etc. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere. Especially during sunny days it is a treat t o sit and enjoy. Very busy during weekend. Worth a visit.

I was having a walk around Richmond Park and wanted to go somewhere for lunch. I was excited to find this cafe as a veggie myself and they had an amazing choice of food.Im not from London so some of it seemed a bit pricey for me such as paying an extra £4ish to have salad with my quiche but it looked good so I just did it but I almost didnt because of the price.I got one slice of cake which I took away to share with my boyfriend. The cake was delicious but again £4 for one slice of cake seemed very steep hence why I only got one to share (£8 for cake for two... I could buy a whole cake or two for that!)Buuuuut I would go back because the food was so good. Ill just share things again I guess!

Absoluey loved it here. Being veggie, the menu was so appealing. The coffee was very very good. Sitting outside the views are lovely. Its very quirky, a very chilled out place to stop off while walking. All the food we had was delishous, and the staff were very friendly.

Hollyhock is the beating heart of Terrace Gardens. The staff are kind and capable and their vegetarian menu is decent. The outdoor tables and option of having takeaway in one of the gazebos, or just on the rolling hills is a definite plus.There are lots of sweet options on the menu with a few savoury heroes, most notably the baked potato with beans and cheese (picturedthat hit 👏🏼 the 👏🏼 spot 👏🏼 on a Sunday morning!My only note would be that the coffee is good, but not great; though this is more than made up for by everything else. I will definitely be back to Hollyhock.

The location is stunning. Inside Terrace gardens you will get a fantastic view of the River Thames, get spoiled by lush vegetation, grass area for a picnic and plenty benches around. This cafe, part of the Tides Cafe chain, has a good selection of pastries, cakes, drinks. Worth stopping by if in walks by the river. Reasonable priced. Decent coffee.

Lovely vegetarian cafe. Really nice! The vegan tart melts in your mouth and the salad was lovely. The outside seating was great views of the Thames. It is always rather busy but worth the wait.

If you believe in Fairies then you will love Hollyhocks Cafe in Terrace Gardens, Richmond. This perfect little cafe is set in a stunning garden overlooking Richmond and the Thames riverside. Amazing pastries / cakes, coffee and teas!

The breakfast here is a little disappointing what was on offer but the custard tarts made up for it. Nice coffee, nice views, friendly staff and welcomes dogs with treats on the counter.

Stunning vegetarian cafe near Richmond Park. The cafe overlooks the river and is surrounded by garden and trees. The menu catered well for vegans and was cosy and quaint.

We went here just after sunset when they had all the fairy lights on outside and it was magical. We only had a couple of coffees so cant really comment on the food. Beautiful setting and staff were very friendly.

Love this peaceful place. So friendly staff, great atmosphere and vege food options. Coffee and cake with view across a park and the river in the horizon, never disappoint you. Myself and my dog feel excited every time we come in here.

This little hidden gem is accross the road from main canal and road. They serve food cakes and coffees. You can sit outside and enjoy nice views. Little romantic place

My favourite spot to read a book in Richmond. Incredibly picturesque and quaint. It has all the feels of an ethical, community cafe space. There food is what I would call ‘hearty’ with lots of breads, cakes etc. Great to see a dedicated vegan menu, and would love to see in the future some healthier options. But still love it here. If I show visitors the best parts of Richmond, it includes this stunning place.

Cosy, warm, friendly, tasty and with beautiful views across the river. You can sit out side on the terrace or inside next to the wood burning fire. Veggie menu and decent WiFi so you can work with a laptop when it’s not too busy.

Cafe delightfully tucked on a leafy slope of Richmond Hill with a peaceful vibe. They serve fresh juice.

This was a nice place just off the Thames to get out of the rain and warm up. If youre biking or jogging, its a good place to take a break and hydrate.
