Theme park with white-knuckle roller coasters, free fall tower and family rides, plus live shows.
Holiday Park in Mannheim
Description
Privilege
Ive been a big fan of Holiday Park ever since I was a kid but unfortunately, it has completely and utterly lost its magic due to high prices, way too many people and not enough employees or parking lots, especially during events. Halloween this year was a rock-bottom and it was our third time. Its not like we called it a quite after the first year. Sorry to see this happening. I hope you can fix it.
Moregreat park and fair prices. lines were long and a bit annoying for the other guest who were waiting long in line, getting passed by other visitors whi had e 8 strip access pass, which allowed them to skip the lines..parking 8 euro was announced when leaving the park and not on entry.. feld a bit hustled
MoreVisited in the middle of the week, so queues were very reasonable! Great extreme rides, also the ones involving water. Bought tickets online so saved time.
MoreGreat Rides, Fun Atmosphere, be sure to check out the Indoor Play Area for children.
MoreÀ Nice thème Park, with lot of improvement the last years. And the GeForce is still one of the greatest coaster ever. Perhaps the best first drop and lot and lot and lot of air time! Friendly staff
MoreGreat park with crazy things that take your breath away!
very very very expensive 45 euros entry. Excellent facilities. In the facilities the assistants are kind and helpful. We were 5 adults and children. We even saw grandparents and grandchildren having fun together
MoreOverall its ok,but the wait for the rides are very long, and since the tickets are very expensive, think twice. 🤷♀️ In general, it is a very interesting place for children and to spend the day having fun.
MoreGood : clean Park, bathroom at every corners, friendly staff and good variety of rides.Bad : parking is terrible, there is nothing in English, i never been to an amusement park where nothing was in English, not even a map. Food variety very limited, if you dont eat pork you better bring your own food.I dont believe it is worst the price we paid but it was alright.
MoreGreat Park, but very pricey - no family tickets! You have to pay full adult prices, but when coming with small kids you cant use the adult attractions...
MoreVery lovely designed park. Tickets are quite expensive but you get really nice ambience and well made attractions. If you bring your own food and drinks you can save a lot of money. I can only recommend it.Update: New attractions added to the Wickie themed part of the park. They put a lot of effort to them and the attractions are well fit and provide a great atmosphere. The Splash Battle is best suited for kids (but adults as well 😅to battle each other with boats and water canons. The big wave is a adrenaline pumping spinning wheel on a wavy track that I immensely enjoyed. And for 2023 there is a waterslide section planned with a "Super Wings" Theme. I am really looking forward to that.
MoreA family park that accidentally purchased 2 thrill coasters. Too bad the capacity sucks on both. Rides themselfs are great and the theming in the park is nice.
MoreSuch a great park, staff were great, park is clean and colourful, food was good, plenty of entertainment. Would be great to take our little one next time, hed love it! Cant wait to visit again, very glad we decided to get season passes!! Well signed for to drive to as well, even as someone not familiar with Germany!Expedition G-force is worth the trip alone!
MoreIts alright, but pretty expensive for what they offer. Make sure you pack your own food before going there.
MoreWe had a great time, great experience for the price. Plenty of parking, lots of entertainment. Just ensure you buy the express pass to avoid long wait time
MoreBuying tickets, express pass, and parking pass online was very easy and affordable for a small group. Lines werent very long and express pass came in handy. Staff was very helpful and kind. Overall a really fun place to visit
MoreIf youre looking for a fun amusement park for kids under 6, this place would be perfect for you! The entrance fee was expensive, but was worth it. (Up until this November, you can purchase discounted tickets via groupon)There are two different sections that has plenty of rides for 2+ years old! I also love the fact that the park wasnt too big, but had plenty of little rides. It was actually better than Hongkong disneyland because I didnt have to wait that long for little kids rides even on busy Saturday!😁For my 4 years old and my husband, we purchased express passes and it saved us 45 minutes for each ride. (She loved Dino splash!)Drinks and foods are ridiculously expensive, but you are also allowed to bring your own food & that was nice. Even after you pay so much for the entrance fee, you still have to pay 8 euros for parking and that is weird.
MoreI have been coming here since I was little and brought my children. Beautiful memories and nice activities but I cannot erase how expensive the park has become, especially to get a bottle of water (4 euros plus). This is unbelievable expensive plus the fact that we paid 8 euros!!! for empty parking. And no show with speed boats and acrobats at the lake.... sorry guys but its the last time I come.
MoreA wonderful place to spend a day together with family. 5 stars is too small at least its worth 10. We were there for the first time 3 years ago, but now there are new parts and even better.
MoreGreat for smaller kids not a lot for older crowds looking for roller coasters!
Its a very nice theme park a bit small, but had a lot of nice rides
Nice amusement park, geared mostly toward the young kids. Plenty of attractions, both indoor and outdoor, plus water fountains. Lots of restaurants on site, although did not try on the food. We went there on a Sunday afternoon and although the park was crowded the lines and wait times were not too bad. Parking was ok.Also a plus because you can bring in food and beverage items. Only downside is that I found the entrance fee a bit pricey, a 9 year old pays as much as a 40 year adult...
MoreBeautiful Park And really enjoy full Rides 🥰❤️
This was such a fun place! I have been to many American amusement parks and enjoyed this one far better!
MoreThis is a decent amusement park that offers season tickets which are reasonable. The food and drinks can get expensive but it’s to be expected when you’re at amusement park the food is good they also have a wine tasting area and a beach bar and you can watch your kids at those two locations. Offers a few water rides, A indoor kid area with the usual roller coasters for adults and older kids.
MoreWas there only shortly for a business delivery. But got to visit the park and even got some food. Very nice people on managerial level and a very clean and well themed park. The rollercoasters are cool too.
MoreThe Park is Nice but not every guy on park team speak in french just german or english but is not a big problemThey restaurants is only start open at 12:00
MoreIts very nice place to spend time with family and especially with kids. Parking was fine in the morning and costs 8 Euros. Park was Well set up with many rides restaurant and rest places. As there are many children in the park it would be better to prohibit cigarettes inside the park. The park was well maintained with clean toilets and diaper changing places everywhere. Other than that prices were reasonable in restaurants and in fast food shops. There were little rush while leaving the parking area. The waiting queue for every ride was tiresome as it took 15-20 min . All together its one best place to spend weekend.
MoreReview from an American,,Pros; Fun rides for pre-teens and younger, not a super large park, many places to sit, 1 hour from the KMC/Ramstein so an easy day trip, a lot of arcades for random games that give tickets.Cons; The live show wasnt in English, Some of the games are too hard for even adults, staff at most food options had limited English. Also food was expensive, but that is to be expected. Half of the rides are geared towards very young kids, so not super exciting-but still something to do.Buy tickets online and use the "choose your ticket price" I saved about €20 for myself and 2 kids or just get an annual pass if you are planning to go more than once for the value.
MoreGreat place for families. They allow you to bring in your own food and strollers. There’s also ample places to sit and eat. There’s an assortment of rides for both kids and adults. The park is easy to navigate and can easily be enjoyed in a day. There is an express pass option: for 30€ (in addition to your admission ticket, you get a 9 punch card that you can use on certain rides to avoid the line. This is an excellent option if you want to ride the roller coasters. Some kids rides are included too. The park is themed, but not to anything specific like Europa or Disney. Overall, this park makes a great day trip for families and adults. Strongly recommend!
MoreNice theme park for families. Few new attractions and the older ones could need some paint. Parking is a mess on crowded days. 20 minutes minimum wait to get in AND out. When the cashier system breaks, you need to queue 30 minutes plus for some food. Personell is pretty unrelaxed and overwhelmed.GeForce and the new sky scream are nice rides but have long queues at times. The new Wiki Land from 2021 is ok-ish. Nothing special, though.Entrance tickets cost 30€ (discountedfor adults >1,40m. Kids are little cheaper. Food inside has reasonable prices for a theme park. Parking is another 8€.
MoreA perfect one day fly away from the reality, I find the prices okay, specially if one decides to buy a year ticket, quite a lot of amusement options and the exciting Free Fall Tower. Parking is huge but kind of work in progress still.
MoreIts not so big as other amusement parks, but perfect size to visit for 1 day with a lot of options for our 6 and 8 years old kids. They loved it!!Theres also some indoors attractions which are an interesting alternative in case the weather is not so good.
MoreThe queue to get in to the park was very long and the queues were fairly lengthy but overall decent park. The staff were the nicest Ive seen from all the german parks Ive visited so far. Its a very family friendly park maybe less for thrillseekers as theres only 2 large rollercoasters but a half day here was great.
MoreVery good park for the little ones, not too much queues but I wouldnt stay longer than a day as most rides are for small children.Had a nice day though and I enjoyed the thrill rides.
MoreA great location for family fun. A wide variety of rides for the big and small.
Small but fun amusement park with some good rollercoasters.Fun for people of all ages, it even has a large area specifically for kids with several cool rides they can enjoy.“Adult” rollercoasters are fun, but short.Parking is easy.Pricing is fair. But book in advance, especially during corona times.Bathrooms were clean.Staff was really friendly.Food options limited, but not a problem if you like pizza or schnitzel 🤷🏻♂️
MoreA great theme park for all age groups, but oriented rather for kids. Many food options all over the park with a good variety and quality. The rides are well maintained and fun, everyone will find a suitable one. A highlight are the water rides and rollercoasters. The waiting time for each was okay and thanks to a nice surrounding was never boring. Just the Sky Scream waiting area was a bit annoying, again thankfully not too long.We thoroughly enjoyed the full day here and will definitely come back when everything is open again.
MoreHolidaypark is known for its Roller Coaster GeForce and in my opinion this coaster is so good that just for this ride its worth a visit. On my visit on a busy day there was only one train on the track. The waiting time was around 20-50 min. There is a couple of wilder rides available in this park such as another launched coaster and a few flat rides and tower rides. If your a family and not a thrill seeker, there are two themed water rides and 1 roller coaster available right now. I found that on busy days more families tend to flood the park. There is a lack of family attractions right now although new family rides are coming. It seems that the local Germans in this area tend to ignore corona rules which is why the park has strict rules, better than most other parks. There are one way roads marked on the floor. I dont like the pinch point around the construction area. Social distancing overall is ok, but dont expect short waiting times!
MoreGreat park! More for kids, but Expedition g-force and sky scream make us travel for this park and it was worth it!
MoreSmall but very well done park. Expedition GeForce is one of the best roller coasters in the world
MoreGreat little park if you live near by. You can do the whole park in a few hours. Much better for younger kids with their amazing indoor park. Only 2 coasters.
MoreIts quite a fun place. Roller coaster rides and the free fall tower are the best rides to visit. There are other smaller rides for kids and people who are afraid of heights. The water show was quite fun to watch as well.
MoreThis amusement park is similar but not the same as a small Six Flags theme park in the US. It is based off a German cartoon. There are rides for adults and kids alike. However, the entertainment is mostly geared towards younger kids (10 and younger). As with any theme park, food and drink is a little overpriced. There are a few wet rides and a dancing fountain that you can actually walk on/through. The park size is in a sweet spot between overwhelming and underwhelming. This park can definitely be completed in one day and can easily entertain the family for approximately 2-6 hours depending on age range, energy level, and willingness to do things that amp up the adrenaline.
MoreI Love fun Parks, thats why we are often guest in that kind of fun places. Holiday Park was disappoint, me a lot.. its beautiful place but everything looks like for a just second will be fall apart.Price is to high, paying for parking? Really?Show was nice, but water stink!Big plus is for People in crew, they are wonderfull, always helpful and smile.
MoreIncredible park, perfect for all ages, suitable for families with kids of any age.Really good atmosphere. You can choose a lot of different activites like walking on the green quiet zone of the park or to go and watch water skiing on the lake. There are two main attractions Geforce and Sky Scream, they are extreme, not too long waiting time.Entry adult ticket for one day is 35.50€.Yearly pass is just 59.99€.
MoreGood place for fun. Especially G Force :DI would recommend to take own food. Prices there are from Space...and food is not good at all. We had fries sausages and ribs. In Indoor area.
MoreGood entertainment for small children. Waterski-show is definitely the highlight of the park.Couple of good roller-coasters.Live music and fireworks on Saturdays July August
MoreA park which manages to marvel you even with little Attractions. The prices in the park are a bit high but normal for an amusement park .The entry price is a bit too high and the game rooms draw a little too much attention.Nontheless a very good place where you can spend a day without getting bored
MoreGood for children under 14. Not very big queues for the size of the park. Lots of places to eat and drink, prices are high as you would expect. Rides for kids are good, safe and well thought out Rides for adults include the Anubis 80 ft vertical drop ride and the Sky Screamer which is a very fast forward and backward vertical and horizontal ride that lasts 2 minutes. It is well worth waiting for the front seat.Parking is €6 and we found it better to get when you get your tickets on the way in as there was a queue on the way in and a queue of cars to get out.All in all a great day out for kids and adults alike.
