Very nice staff and comfortable, clean rooms.
My only issue was the restriom was sm. A little challenging for me to navigate but was told @ chk out its those corner rooms (downstairs). Had a great stay, clean pool, w beach towels in office! Also just put put new chairs & loungers, poolside. great view of the mountains, very friendly staff & wonderful continental breakfast, lots of choices! Highly recommended! Will definitely come again on the way thru NV.
When you stay at a 2-star hotel you dont expect the room to be so spotless and clean as our room was. A total surprise and will definitely stay here again if ever passing through in the future.
Great little meet up spot for switching out grandkids, traveling.Clean, pool and a breakfast where everyone can find something to eat.
About 1/3 of the budget to moderate hotels and motels have a problem in the summer with a mold smell coming from the air conditioner. Someone explained that this is due to water accumulation. Our room here has it pretty bad. The management seems to be aware of it because there is some sort of air freshener to try to mask it. Would be much better to disinfect it properly. Hope we dont have terrible headaches tomorrow from sleeping with it.
Just checked in and very happy! Clean room with coffee and a swimming pool for the Grandson. Great little place to stay!
I have stayed in this hotel several times in the past in my travels.I booked my reservation through Expedia, booking a pet friendly room.I was checked in by a pleasant, efficient young man who was very professional. He initially was placing me in to a non pet room but I clarified that I was traveling with two small dogs. He was going to charge me the $15 pet fee which Ive paid in the past. However, a VERY rude middle age woman who described herself as the manager interrupted us and demanded "you must pay the pet fee for each dog". I responded that Ive never had to pay for both in the past and that I had read on the booking website that there was only a $15 pet fee. She was rude, disrespectful and all she could say was "you can stay somewhere else". I tried to reason with this woman and explained that my dogs stay in crates during my visit and do not bark or disrupt at all. This experience will make me reconsider if I want to stay in this hotel again, even though this nice budget hotel ($150 after tax and feeswas overall just fine except the customer service was severely lacking. I later learned that this employee is leaving in two weeks. I thank the young man for his help. He was clearly embarrassed by her actions.I wish there was a manager above her or an owner that I could voice my displeasure with her, but, it was suggested that a Yelp review would do more good. This kind of employee can easily ruin a business.
Hotel room is clean except for stains on the carpet. My reason for the 1 star is the manager. After driving for 10 hours I arrived at the hotel to check in and the manager was very rude and unfriendly. If I was not so tired I would have found another hotel. I have been on a 2 week long road trip through California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Nevada. I have stayed at a different hotel nearly every night. This is by far the worst I have ever been treated checking in to a hotel. If she is indeed the manager I would suggest hiring someone else who would actually be polite to guests.
The Holiday Motel is known for its friendly front desk staff and the pride they take in their super clean rooms and grounds! They have a swimming pool and a Continental Breakfast each morning! Look for the white Motel with the Baby Blue doors on each unit! Highly recommended!
Very clean, unique feeling of care. Lots of unique touches. Very pet friendly! Towels for pool as well as bath. Hot chocolate and Donuts🍩! And fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, and oatmeal for a delicious breakfast.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, good snacks for the free breakfast. Rooms were quiet, even though we were on the first floor. Will definitely be trying to get a room here anytime I’m in Winnemucca (which is about twice a year).
Was pleased with the comfortable king bed and very helpful staff. It was quiet and our room had everything we needed.
Looks a bit scary from the outside but its actually clean. This was the last hotel in town and wasnt bad at all. The shower and bathroom were super clean and it was a nice surprise.
This place is fantastic for basic accommodations. The gal who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. It appears from the outside that its an older hotel but once inside our room, everything had been updated and was warm and clean. They had the heater already on before we entered our room, which was very welcoming, as it was freezing outside. We were extremely pleased with the service and accommodations and would definitely recommend to travelers going through town. We would stay again in a heartbeat if were ever going through town again. Its great lodging for a reasonable rate!
Staff is courteous and friendly. Rooms are quite clean and beds are comfy. It was freezing outside so thankful the heater worked well. Quiet and safe.I liked their breakfast options! I am not an early morning breakfast eater and was able to take mine on the road for a late breakfast.I would definitely stay here again.
Everything is so nice there! We have been staying there every time on family trips for the last 4 years. The first time told us it was special. The service is great, full of smiles, the room is beautiful and clean. Things like the breakfast and the table in the lobby full of things like local restaurants including directions to them from the hotel. No kidding, I stayed at a hotel on this trip I just had where I stayed at the Holiday Motel and the other one was horrible, folks there can be a BIG difference! The Holiday Motel is special!
You can not judge a book by its cover! The rooms were beautifully updated with comfortable beds and fluffy pillows. In room coffee service with a Keurig and Starbucks was perfect. There a was a breakfast set up in the lobby ranging from cold cereals, fruit and yogurt all the way up to bacon egg and cheese biscuits. We will be back on our next trip. Thanks again
Very comfortable stay. There were sweet touches like mint candy in our room when we arrived. Nice and clean rooms with updated Samsung TV. Folks were nice. We thought the queen bed looked smaller than what we expected, but the bed was comfortable. Definitely worth staying.
The Owner of the place is a great Lady. We were stranded with my Great granddaughter and granddaughter having just left a nasty motel with no where to go. Check in wasnt until 4 pm and this wonderful woman let us in at 12:30. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Pool is nice. People stay clear of the Santa Fe Inn Winnemucca Nevada. Right down the street is this nice place.
So grateful for the staff here...what wonderful people! We stayed here last-minute after a breakdown with our travel trailer last night. Got the last pet room they had available and the front desk girl, Caitlin, was so accommodating to hold the room for us while wefigured things out. They even let us do a late check out at no charge while we were still waiting for repairs to be completed. Clean rooms. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Comfy beds. Wonderful service! The breakfast and the pool were nice as well, though we didnt swim.
The hotel is immaculate, and the rooms are in solid condition. This was a great way station on our road trip. Excellent value. The pool is small, but also clean and inviting. The breakfast is also really good grab and go stuff. They allow pets. The town is fairly large is the usual chains and inviting diners.
