The spa is quite entertaining
Nice... A lil pricey but ok
21 euros so for two adults and a child its around 60 euros then if you get a hesbirger meal each in there thats another 30 eurosSo to go swimming with a child its around 100 euros which is ridiculousThe main pool is cold and the changing rooms the sameThe jets when they stop you can see all the gunk built up its needs a good clean most places in this swimming area do! For the size of the place they have one small jacuzzi that fits around 5 to 6 people in it
Used the superpark area, kids loved it
Best holiday ever. Half of fun cane from friends
Expensive and tired place - first and last time in this hotel.
Can’t speak for the apartments, but the hotel is dated. Room was cramped, noisy ineffective ventilation, noisy refrigerator, windows couldn’t open, bathroom always quite humid. No healthy eating options. Our son, however, loved it, mainly due to the water park, which was pretty good.
Centrally located hotel with very good facilities.
Its summer in Finland and it was 29 degrees last night. The ac in the room wasn’t working, we paid for one night 160 euros. It was not worth it at all. We didn’t sleep the whole night( me, my husband and four years old daughter). The spa was kinda of nice but the room service was extremely horrible. The worst hotel experience in my life…. I wish I had read reviews before going there. Lessons learned
The hotel is located in a great area from where you can reach any party of the city easily.I went on mid summer this it was very hot outside, 30. To my surprise there was no air conditioning on the hotel so the rooms were also hot. There is no room service which the hotel provides. There not even a phone in your room to talk to the reception. This hotel provides one of the most beautiful pool and spa experience.Had a wonderful pizza in their in-house Classic Pizza restaurant.
The water park area was pretty nice expect it was little old hat. Breakfast was medium +.
Very big suits we got this time, double rooms with very beautiful bathtub,
On a rainy day we considered to go to the "Spa" area of the hotel. We wanted to heat up a little bit and have an relaxing day.If you go there by car you get charge for the parking. It was around 1€/h. We choose to stay there the whole day and get two adult tickets for 22€. So paid around 50€ for two persons. The whole area had see it best time approximately 20 years ago. Everything was quite old but clean. We had a good day but it was too expensive.
My husband and I "celebrated" 1 year anniversary wedding in this hotel with spa. WORST idea ever! The spa was so cold that I got sick and shivering all the evening, we spent there only 45 minutes. We had dinner at Olearys and even there was cold. In the end I got so sick that we left at 21.30 without spending the night there. The room was nothing special. One lamp in the bathroom was flawed, after the shower all the water went under the sink and in front of the toilet, the beds were beyond being soft and uncomfortable. Big disappointment and huge waste of money.
Spend Great time in this hotel area. Its quite complete with almost playing places all kids needed. From swimming , adventures, small games room until Superpark. few choices for restaurants also. So no need to worry. Kids love this holiday.
Small room thinking it was a 2 adults and 2 kids room we had to bring 1 mattress cause the hotel said that 1 of the kids would have to sleep with us. They even did not provide enough towels for the 4 of us. The hotel needs a renovation and change on the politics of how do they arrange the rooms as they can not sell a double room as a family room. On the other hand the service at the restaurants was really friendly
Very clean rooms and in a 50m2 we had a good electric Sauna and a huge balcony. The room had some poor interior design as well, with a lack of actual space for outdoors clothing (a dedicated closet, a shoe rack).Overall okay, the pros balance the cons.
The 80s Las Vegas style is delightful. No intercom in the rooms. Baths and saunas are good. Nice to swim outdoors with snowflakes. Service Ok, shopping minimal.
Great location. Better than other holiday club for.e.g. Tampere in terms of water activities. Totally worth 👌 visiting any time of the year.
An old hotel in desperate need of construction. The walls of the rooms are paper thin, and you can hear every_single_thing that the people are saying in the room next to you.The rooms have no mini bar and no phone to call the reception. Our room was not cleaned at all during a 2 night stay.Service at the reception and in the restaurants was good, and the breakfast was ok. The spa is very clearly not for adults, and they even charge you extra for the slippers. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, this is not the place for you. In my opinion, this is not worth it, considering the high price and little kids running around everywhere.
Nothing special but everything worked and no clear disappointments. Place begins to be a little aged but clean and generally in good condition.
The room (Villa for 6was above excpectations. The reception and customer service in general was very smooth, fast, and polite. Location was great too. Parking costs extra. I will certainly use this hotel again the next time Im in Turku.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!If you plan to do a fast visit through Turku, do not stay in this hotel its far from the city center and you will depend on the bus (3€/person)Moreover its not really a four stars hotel, more like 3 or less. The condition of the hotel is old the rooms really small and not that clean, really loud air conditioning system which cannot be turned off, dirty towels were given to us, breakfast quite poorly served. Furthermore its a family hotel, so do expect kids running around. Not worth at all the amount of money spent in this hotel.
Price & service are not compatible. Standard room has polyester bed linen...Room wasnt clean. Air conditioner is so noisy. So slow queue in the reception.
We have stayed for a night only in this hotel with spa access.Pro: Clean room with everything you need - bathrobe, a bunch of towels, shoes, iron machine, laundry bag, safe, a very nice atmosphere light in the bedroom, nice stuff, very good buffet breakfast. The swimming pools were clean (many families with children but it was not a problem for us at all), not strong chlorine smell, super fun waterslides - they are giving free the swimrings btw.Minus: >the pool closes 8.30, but starting with 7:45 the water starts to get colder and also the interior>is overpriced for what you can get. 219 € / night standard room, with breakfast…is not even 5 stars hotel, and the interior is decent. But there are hotels in the capital witch offers a better quality bed and is looking nicer for less than 130€/night in the central!>As I said, the bed was comfy but not the best for the asking price>the parking overpriced as well, 13€/day> the check out is 12:00 and the check in 16:00.
Versitile breakfast buffet. Cerials are nicely available but something is wrong with the "scrambled eggs". Not enough eggs and too much something else.
The hotel room was nice and clean, as well as the spa. The spa is clearly designed for kids. The arrangements in the restaurants were not good during the COVID-19 pandemic f.ex. Classic Pizza was closed and O’Leary’s was not fully open either. People needed to queue for a limited dinner menu which we didn’t want to do.
We stayed in a standard room, thermostat did not work and it was quite chilly first night. Next day we have told at the reception about that and were provided electric heater shortly. Pillows felt like they were washed hundred times and did not have any shape...Unfortunately very disappointing breakfast. Scrambled eggs were "swimming" in the water, and had some kind of sweet taste, no spices were added. Two types of cheese and ham, boiled eggs, karelian pies, porridge, some veggies, tasteless small pancakes. Yogurt musli and berries were "best" option. Had no caffeine free coffee 🙄Spa was nice. Enjoyed three slides, swimming pooles, steam sauna. Its nice that hotel provides bathrobes.
Fun for a day. But for longer stays you will quickly want to explore outside the hotel-area. Luckily Turku center is about a 20 minute brisk walk away!
A good place to go/visit when you are hungry in Night coz it has R Kioski. Also it has a Pizzeria or a Pizza Restaurant with Hesburger in the basement. It has also good Sauna. You reach here by Foli bus : 220, 50, 51, 53 and 54.
Great place for the whole family! Swimming pools are very comfortable and equipped for the littlest ones, at the same time there are fun rides for elder kids and grown-ups. SuperPark is also full of fun activities for all the ages! So if you are going to spend few days there - you wont even need to leave the building 😄 just remember to take your flip flops!
Pretty ok, smoke sauna missing most of winter time hence place not even close of e.g. Katinkulta RCI experience. Also hotel room basic finnish three star level...
Positive: clean room.Negative: no chance to get a good diner, ugly Hesburger Restaurant & Dirty Pizza Restaurant, Breakfast medium quality.Room: furniture & bathroom look like 1990, no fridge, plastic drinking cups.
There are lots of options for leisure time activities around the hotel. There is an indoor activity park in the same building which is popular among youth. Another popular place is of course the spa. It is the best thing you can enjoy with your small children since they love bathing and swimming. Although spa is bit old fashioned and worn out water has always been warm and clean. I have been dozens of times and every time has been enjoyable. If you are interested in swimming on track this is not your place since there arent any swimming tracks. There are three restaurants which serve you several kinds of delicacies. At least all kinds of flavors of hamburgers, pizza and salad. Every restaurant is cozy and tidy. They are filled with friendly, warm customer services as well as the hotel. There is also a tiny shop that sells very representative sample of Speedo products. Best assortment in town at least. All swimmers with sense of good quality swimming products will love this. Also, if you prefer Donald Duck pocket books there is a shop that has a very good selection of those.Several bus lines serve customers of this hotel so you dont necessarily need car for traveling to here. There is also spacious parking lot for cars if you accidentally took your car with you.
Breakfast and the pool area are great. Problems are the rooms are not tidy nor safe. The parking is badly arranged and staff is poorly trained and unpleasant to interact with. You are better Off taking your money elsewhere. Ok for locals biking to resort to bathe.
Oké, but nothing more, high priced, swimmingpool is Nice enough but not very special, good to spend a couple of hours, everything is a litle out dated, the staff is very Nice and speek good english, the breakfast is what you can expect, scrambled eggs from a carton, ready made pancakes, a wide choice with storebought products nothing fancy, all and all a good stay for our son who enjoyed the time spend swimming, otherwise a bit expensive for what is offered
It was overly hot (+26cin our room without any way to cool it. You could only open a little hatch which only brought in even hotter air because it was a black wooden box in the sun. They assume that under 4 year olds sleep with parents despite that the beds are single beds and give no towels. When I went to ask for getting an extra bedsheet for the extra bed, the receptionist was extremely condescending. I understand it was not her fault but I still expect to be treated with some respect. To top it all, someone tried to break into the trunk of our car breaking the lock at the disabled parking near the entrance.
If on a trip to Turku this is fairly close to the centrum but there arent any big stores nearby. So youll have to drive somewhere with a car. Costs a lot but the service is good and rooms are pretty cool. Spa and a playingpark is located in the same building so you can go swimming. There is a burger joint and a fancy restaurant there too.4/5 recommend this for a one night stay☺👍
Really old place, Soviet Union 90s-style, spa is more or less fine, but the rooms and the restaurant are all tired and need a renovation, beds are bad, air conditioning is super noisy, bathroom is old. Breakfast is terrible, dirty chairs, poor choice, very bad juices and coffee, bacon is dry and porridge is watery.Beware the slippers - they cost 3.50/ pair even though noone is telling you this.Parking is 12/day, even for hotel guests. Not recommended.
Really bad location, also you have to pay for parking in hotel perimeses!!! and the hotel is really old style, beds are extremly uncomfortable and at least in my room the ac was extremly noisy which didnt help with the already bad bed and they sell you slippers if you wanna visit the spa and forgot sandals. The place was really clean on the positive side
A good hotel that is especially good for families with kids. Caribia has a Superpark (kids indoor activity park), a large spa section, a gym and a few restaurants (Classic Pizza, Hesburger, OLearys). Hotel rooms are clean, but small. Spa is somewhat outdated, but still offers a lot both inside and outside. Spa is great for kids.
Great gym / spa / sauna. It could use a small makeover to freshen some of the surfaces, but everything works. The new hydrohex system in the upper pool is a great workout!
Was not as good as I expected. Water park was quite small ,only few saunas and the smoke sauna did not work at all. At breakfast the coffee was terrible, could not drink it , fruits were ,,tired,, looking ( means when u cut a kiwi in half and dont eat it straight away then it driesand omelette tasted sweet, probably chef mixed up sugar and salt.... in our room bathroom soap dispenser was taped to the wall .......
A nice hotel and spa complex with plenty of activities for both kids and adults. The spa section has been renovated in 2018 and there are a lot of attractions for the whole family, including an outdoor smoke sauna. Regular rooms are mostly small to medium-sized, but function well, except for surprisingly low sound isolation. The facility is close to the Turku centrum and easily accessible by car, Kupittaa train station is also pretty close.
Very nice place to spend a holiday. Good service in hotel and also in the restaurants. And of course you can go to swim in the spa. Only one minus you have to walk a little bit that you go to the castle. But there is also bus stop in front of the hotel so you can take a bus, or just walk about 3 km in center. But i recommendid, really😊.
Although expensive, its nice and new place. We took apartment, which was fully equipped (you could bake there, if youd like - kitchen drawers were stashed with kitchenware, never seen in southern Europe). Big balcony with grill. Bedroom is a bit small. Parking 12€ for day.
Very nice spa-hotel especially for families with kids. Water park is really nice, hotel is clean and comfortable, staff is very friendly and the "superpark" activity park is great for anyone over 4. Only reasons I did not give 5/5 are some safety issues in the pool areas, where they dont have railings on the sides of the pools, which makes all the larger pools a bit hazardous for those kids whose feet just barely touch the floor. Also the breakfast was really crowded on both mornings during our weekend stay, which was a bit inconvenient especially with kids. But would/will visit again definitely.
Great hotel establishment with spa and OLearys restaurant. The spa has many water slides and pools for children in all ages. Nowadays, there also works an indoor activity park (SuperParkwith trampolines, skate ramps and climbing frames.
Small spa centre with sweeping pool and saunas. Students can get special price during the weekdays. One of the pools has outdoor section, providing nice winter experience.
- Its expensive and bad, not poor, just bad.- Old building and old furniture.- No soundproof at all, Ive heard everything that happens around my room, elevator, kids running and screaming, people talking behind the wall and so on.- Minibar was empty, and Coffee Shop unreasonably expensive.- There are just one restaurant, hesburger and 19€ supper-buffet, which I didnt like. So if you came there by car I suggest you to eat somewhere else.+ But like everywhere in Finland, there are very friendly and qualified personnel.+ Free Wifi+ Big and beautiful, but also very old fish aquarium at the lobby+ Good breakfast
